I have experience with Game maker at all, but I want to start digging into it.
What would be a good tutorial or course to get started learning it and GML visual scripting?

The image of it came back to me and I can't remember the name of it. I don't think I ever finished playing the game.
Anyway, it was a side scroller where you would play a guy in a thick jacket with a ball cap. You would go through this building that was plagued by monsters or ghosts. You had a remote control looking weapon that you would zap said ghosts or monsters with. It needed to be recharged, so you would have to reach charging stations. I want to say you had to do math problems at the stations to charge up your weapon.

and I had a lid made for it. My question to the class is, would silicone strips prevent gas exchange between the inside and outside of the terrarium? And would it be safe for the terrarium? Strips like this:

I got this aquarium to turn into a terrarium. It's 13.3 gallons and it's dimensions are roughly 24 in. length, 12.5 in. width, and almost 11 in height.
With the plan to use leca, how deep should I make the drainage layer?

In light of Unreal's "foolish/stupid/Oh my gosh why?" decisions regarding C++ and Blueprint, the notion to stick with 5.6-8 is naturally floating my head.
I know that you can use an earlier version of the engine, but how long would that be viable?
I am looking into gamedev and going the visual scripting route and I was wondering if the folks with experience could tell me which is the more robust visual scripting language and which is the easier for a complete beginner to learn? Plus any unusual ups or downs that come with them.

Considering that the Nazi took a lot of ques from America and then America's role in the war itself, what would Nazi Germany have been like and how would the war have possibly progressed if America didn't exist?

Edit: The general gist is that the Nazis likely would never have a thing and history would be radically different that it's hard to say what things would look like.

Just finished my second (and first planned) terrarium :)
- Made 6/24
- Premade biactive substrate.
- Stone crop, cushion, and some unidentified mosses.
- Pilea Silver Tree and another one whose name I can't find at the moment.
- A rock and thick stick for hardscape.
- Springtails.
-Distilled water with minimal watering once properly established.
- Volume: 4.17 liters
My first terrarium :) It's semi spooky as one of the rocks and most of the moss came from a cemetery.
Aquasoil substrate, springtails, rocks, and fittonias.
I'm not sure about the other plants at the moment. There was supposed to be a fern, but it died. Also, if I find an animal skull I will add it.
I'm not talking about technomancers, though they might come off as one to the uninitiated.
Basically have there been any characters or traditions who view magic via the lens of technology and cyberspace? Kind of like the Virtual Adepts of Mage the Ascension.
So their ritual implements would be pieces of technology, they might call their spells programs or hacks, and they would see spirits as digital entities. Maybe one of their mantras being "Hack the Planet."

Do I propagate it like other mosses where I take a piece, cut it up, and place it into a moist substrate and wait, or is there another method I should use?
