Received the car yesterday. Ordered in Feb end.

AED 149,000 (All Black, Silver Calipers, Green/orange Interior)

Insurance: AED 4700

No Physical AC buttons, No spoiler, No Michelin tyres, No Massage Seats, No Tray Table etc - I think these only come in 2027 Petrol only Model

Gosh i miss physical buttons a lot.

Note: The Car is my father's. I have Palisade, and i am sorry to say Palisade is significantly better.

TL;DR - Sorry, but not very impressed. My opinion should not deter current owner's or those who waiting, it is strictly based on my experience and my current car's

Quick Features: PHEV, Ventilated Seats (Driver and Passenger), Reclining Seat (Passenger), 4WD, Diff Lock, Wade Mode, Fridge, Front Logo Lights, Fender white marker lights, Light show, Puddle Lights.

Hybrid: So the car's engine continuously charges the battery while driving in HEV Mode in addition to braking.

I have to list a lot of cons, that i personally didnt like or lacked:

ACC or ICC speed limitation of 150 kmph (frequent travel to al ain with 160 kmph roads)
The Lane keep assist / intervention is messy. Its very difficult to turn the steering to your will (its strong), so i had to turn this off, but LKA is a great feature to miss.
No Normal Cruise Control or Speed Limiter. You have to rely on ACC.
Permanent message "Overspeed. Drive Carefully" after 115 kmph on the cluster. The problem with this is, the warning message to hold the steering wheel that pops every 10 seconds (so annoying 10 sec is too less, my palisade displays after a minute), is not displayed anymore, so you dont know when the car loses ACC+LKA, so you have to be extra alert at high speeds. (Can't believe this shit)
Lack of Physical Buttons
Media Volume is always reset to low once you start the vehicle. No setting to adjust this.
FM Radio navigation to the channels you want is very difficult, and you cant switch between them using steering wheel button. The steering wheel "next" button simply scans the next available station. Super Annoying
The Turbo lag is not there, but still its not as quick on a take-off, a small lag exists.
The Front logo lights and side fender marker lights only work once you park. I wish we could customize this. The grid light next to the fog light is really unnecessary.
Customization option on the Instrument cluster and the main screen is very minimal
Trip meter is very limited, and cant reset with Fuel Consumption
Trunk space is small for a car of this size
Wireless charging is very slow
I am not sure if Hybrid is performing well. Here is a comparison for 50 Kms in highway: 6.5L / 100 Km vs 7.2L / 100 Km on a 7 seater Palisade (Petrol). The difference is too less to praise.
EV Mode range expected to be between 100-150 Kms
You cant go EV only mode when the battery capacity is 20% or less, that is 30 Kms left on Battery. Once you reach 20%, Engine has to supply power to the battery like a generator. Edit: Long press EV Button to extend below 20%, but this will go max 10%.
Supplied charging cable (AC) has a UK 3 pin and it takes more than 16 Hrs to charge from 20% to 100. This is via a regular 3 Pin UK Socket 230V 13A.
Rear view via centre mirror is a challenge. You see very less portion due to the wheel cover, you wont be able to see flashing of cars if they get close.
There is a customizable button in the steering wheel, but this has very limited option like: Home and 2 others that are useless
I dont know how to deactivate the loud announcement of caller name / number on incoming calls. Annoying
ACC has stop only. No Stop and go.
Seat memory is also very difficult to navigate via screen. They did not even consider buttons on the door for this.

I dont know, all these may be nit picks, there could be some ways to solve my concerns, but having a palisade thats an absolute breeze of convenience. Be the ACC, LKA - this works very well, even at 160 kmph. In addition, navigating Radio preset channels, Android Auto dedicated button, child lock button on driver's seat, Blindspot cameras, HUD, Digital centre mirror screen, Massage seats, Heated and Ventilated seats, Heated steering wheel, Auto Start / Stop are other plus of Palisade.

Hybrid / EV Test for 50 Kms:

Start:: Fuel left: 310 Kms, Battery Range: 50 Km, so a combined of: 360 Kms
End:: Fuel left: 230 Kms, Battery Range: 30 Km, so a combined of: 260 Kms

So the consumption as per the computer is 100 Kms, while i travelled only 50 Kms Highway at 100 kmph avg - Math seems off, oh my God - maybe this could improve over time.

Average Energy Consumption: 8.9 L / 100 Km
Average Battery Consumption: 8kWh / 100 Km
Average Fuel Consumption: 6.5L / 100 Km

No offence to anyone, this car is not my cup of tea, and lot more annoying than convenience at AED 149,000.00 - but the car is very popular, so guess its good for all of 'em.
