Moved and updated dmv info, no new sticker or card, do i need to go in for address change?

I just realized after purchasing a new home I need to update my address so I can continue to purchase firearms and update my C. H. L I did it online and was told It's updated on their side that I wouldn't get a sticker and don't get a new card. Do I need to actually go into the dmv? Do it in person?

2018 XD with a few oil cooler repairs/replacement, block replaced also, ideas? 68k miles

Looking at buying a twenty eighteen, 80k Canadian import, I pulled carfax. It has four instances of the oil ooler being replaced or repaired with in 3 years of eachother, as well as the small block being replaced. I'm gonna reach out to the dealer who did it to dig deeper but until I hear back anyone run into similar issues, from my research these are fairly bulletproof. its the gas version. other than those 2 red or maybe beige flags. since the block is newer and no repair since 2024, service every 4k miles. Seems like a steal.

38, 74", long femur, deadlift check

Hips keep coming up first, honestly only trained trap bar deadlifts, thanks Army, so im trying to get better at traditional DL, I get an inch away from shins, long arm, lat engaged, bend shoulders past bar, pull slack, bend legs, pull, but my butt keeps coming up first, I will say I'm not the most flexible and could be that my hammies or ankle is causing this. Appreciate any input.

Who's got a 2019 2.7L with over 100k?

I'm looking at a truck that's just north of a 100000 miles carfax. Has it as one owner? And I wanna go pull the service record from Ford just to see if they've been up on everything recalls, whatever. But it's hilariot, it's clean. It looks good body's straight drives great. They're asking right around twenty thousand I'll probably get em down to eighteen out the door hopefully, but i'm just wondering if there's anything I should be looking out for or if there's a major issue.I know this is one of the years that seems to be fairly bulletproof.

529 or something else, kids qualify for chapter 35 VA

Ive got an 8yr old and 4yr old who will qualify for chapter35 benefits, also if they go to a state school that would be covered as well, they aren't really focused on college right now but I am wondering if it makes sense to put into a 529 or if a hysa would be better? I would be doing 200usd monthly till 18, obviously things could change in 10years and those benefits could be gone but with only being able to roll over 35k into a 401k leaves a lot in the pot for either one of them. Any advice is welcome.

Inspection window closes in a week, the sewer failed but seller is going to cover that. everything else is peachy. VA Appraiser had it over what we offered so that's a win, I don't know why but I have a stupid worry that underwriter is gonna be like "nope", DTI is fine, I meet all VA requirements in spades, and only real issues is gap in employment due to deployment I just came back from. Also I had paid off some card balances, nothing huge but didn't want to do minimum payments and was told that might be a red flag when We get closer to the closing date since money went out. I don't know i'm just on edge cause this whole process has gone relatively smooth and figure a hammer is gonna come down at some point or it could not. What do you focus on during the closing period? I'm used to hurry up and wait but usually not on one of life's biggest purchases. Appreciate the help.

Edit: we'll be painting the interior after we move into the other place and have it cleaned from top to bottom. Appreciate your input.

TLDR- Can i subtract paint and bathroom upgrades from closing cost, or do i need to paint everything white to list and show this POS house?

Hello all, my wife and her aunt own our current home, weird situation but it is what it is, the aunt had her agent walk the home and talk about what needs to be done to list, they said we need to paint the interior to neutral colors, update master bath, and a few other tiny things. We are currently closing on a new home, just wife and I, and I really just want to walk away from the old place, are the repairs/paint/updates something that can be subtracted from asking price/closing, or is it really important to have white walls and an updated bath on a 1987 manufactured home? Current interior paint is as follows- living room= canterbury bells aka light purple/violet, kitchen and secondary bath=light butter yellow, kids room=baby blue and canterbury bells. Master bedroom=Light gray.
Its not my home to sell but my cost to pay to update/paint so I'd rather put money into the new house and forget this place ever exsisted, sorry for the rant i've been doing trim and fascia all week.
