What do you guys think of this dog? Is he real?

Don't know what to say he looks Ai to me for some reason

The number 23 on the jersey looks slightly asymmetrical

The mid action basketball shot captures a clean athletic pose, but the number "23" printed on the back of the jersey has slightly warped edges that don't quite match standard athletic block fonts.

The recursion in this mirror setup is almost too clean

An infinity mirror effect usually shifts or degrades in clarity as the image bounces deeper, but the repeating oval frames in the background stay perfectly centered and clean all the way down.

The text on this cream zip up seems blurred out

The fit is clean, but check out the text branding on the left chest of the knit cardigan. It hints at lettering and stars but is completely unreadable under close inspection.

This post has way too much going on in the background

This gritty street fashion look with the Doberman is cool, but look closely at the graffiti. The letters TOIPA and the symbols on the shutter door look like a model trying to replicate tags without understanding real linework.

The yellow license plate text looks kinda sus here, AI?

Is it just me or does the text on that yellow license plate look a bit melty? Also her right hand is doing that weird floating thing, but maybe it’s just the flash messing with my eyes. What do you guys think?

Give me your opinions real or not?

The text on that thing looks weird maybe another language, anybody knows?

I hate to be the guy but doesn't this look Ai?

Yes I know it has a lot of detail but this subreddit is meant for high quality pictures like these anyways

For non-coding tasks, where does Perplexity still win against newer AI search tools?

Have been testing newer AI search tools as they've launched. The basic search-with-sources capability has commoditized faster than I expected.

Where Perplexity is still my first reach for non-coding work:

- Multi-source research where I want to see the full source list before reading anything

- Anything where I need to track ongoing context across sessions (Spaces)

- Quick fact verification with a citation I can click through

The rest has been more of a split. Voice mode on the go I've moved to a newer offering that feels more natural. Long-form writing drafts have shifted to other models that caught up on continuity. Image-related stuff was never the use case for me anyway.

Curious where others have landed. Less interested in which is best overall. More interested in the specific use cases that have stayed sticky for you.

Found the perfect vantage point overlooking a quiet river town

I managed to find this high overlook point looking down on a town built right alongside a winding river. I love the dark slate roofs and the way the water reflects the sky, tucked right into the steep valley walls. What’s a hidden gem town or village located in a valley that completely charmed you?

Share the prettiest riverside path or stone walkway you’ve ever walked along at sunset.

Sometimes the best evening plan on a trip is just taking a slow, quiet walk right along the water as the city lights start to turn on. Which destination gave you your favorite evening stroll?

Finally caught London on a rare evening when the weather and lighting actually cooperated

Just wanted to share this shot I took from a viewpoint during golden hour. Usually every time I visit it's completely grey and pouring rain, but the haze over the city looked crazy with the sun hitting Big Ben. For anyone who lives there or visits often, what's your absolute favorite hidden spot to get a good panoramic view of the skyline away from the massive crowds?

Is she real or not?

I think she looks Ai, the farther away the weirder the image gets, isn't this an indicator of it being Ai?

Which country has the most dramatic "zigzag" mountain roads?

I’d love to know out of curiosity what is the most thrilling or beautiful mountain pass you’ve ever driven or taken a bus through? I’m talking about those roads with endless sharp turns and incredible views.

Which specific use case do you still reach for Perplexity over everything else?

Not asking in the context of the current debates on this sub or regarding any rate limits from free users who aren't knowledge workers. Asking because the strongest use cases for any tool are the ones where you've stopped comparing it and just reach for it automatically.

What's the one thing you use it for where it's still the obvious choice?
