What does a Technical Account Manager (TAM) interview look like?

Hi all! I come from a SDE background (and took up some TPM responsibilities during my SDE role). I'm currently unemployed and have been applying to TPM roles as I've been wanting to transition. I happened to get passed an initial screen for a Technical Account Manager role and might have some interviews soon. I've no idea how to go about preparing as I never even thought of interviewing for a TAM. I didn't know that role even existed. Would appreciate any kind of help or advice! thanks!

Hosting a friend from Chicago in Redmond for 2 weeks - feedback on our PNW-'vibes' itinerary

Hey all! A friend is visiting from Chicago for the coming two weeks. We'll be working during the day with flexible hours, and we want to show him the signature "Pacific Northwest" feels (and touristy as it's his first time). No overnight stays, just day trips from Redmond and post-work outings. I put together a list of ideas, please help.

Mt Rainier - Skyline loop or some moderate hike

Snoqualmie Falls

Kirkland Marina, Meydenbauer / Bellevue Downtown Park

Seattle - Pike Place, Gasworks, Alki beach, Kerry Park, Kayaking at Green Lake .. ?

One of these - Bainbridge / Deception pass / Poulsbo / Leavenworth

Would love to have suggestions from you all! He's a foodie (no restrictions) too, so would love recs for restaurants or breweries too!

Thank you!

No phones allowed during soundcheck in MetLife, NJ

I just received an email from Live Nation for the East Rutherford concert and I see that phones are not allowed during the soundcheck. What’s practically done? Can one take videos? What’s it like? I’m talking about the USA. Thank you!

NYC - Sanity check on this 3-day draft itinerary?

Hey everyone! Planning a trip to NYC this weekend and tried grouping spots geographically to minimize travel time. Would love a quick reality check on whether this pacing makes sense:

(We're early 30s couple traveling with our 60y parents, and have been to WTC/ Statue of Liberty)

Day 1: Central Park, 57th St & 5th Ave (Louis Vuitton Trunk), St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, Times Square (at night)

Day 2: Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO (Manhattan Bridge photo spot), NYC Ferry (dusk/night skyline ride)

Day 3: The Vessel (Hudson Yards), Financial District (Wall St & World Trade Center area). Not exactly sure what else to visit - mainly touristy but not so touristy.

Appreciate any feedback or tweaks!

Doubts for East Rutherford, NJ Day 2 concert - help pls

Hey all! I'll be going to the soundcheck in NJ and it'll be my first BTS concert. I'm really confused on the timeline/ schedule of the concert day. I know I'll receive an email but can't wait until that as I'm flying from a different state and wanna pre-plan and know how my day looks like. I've booked a pickup of ARMY bomb for 2.30PM and I believe the main concert starts at 8PM.

  1. When do you think I should reach the venue?
  2. Will I have to line up to check-in early morning or an hour before entering works? What's the point of a check-in?
  3. Will I have to line up for the army bomb/ soundcheck or vip? For about how long?
  4. Lastly, am I allowed to carry the meta rayban smart glasses?
  5. What time is the soundcheck?
  6. Is there any thread for NJ/ east rutherford?

I'm so sorry I'm very much confused! Any help will be much appreciated.

BTS Concert - NJ Day 2 Soundcheck/ VIP

I have tickets to the BTS Concert - NJ Day 2 Soundcheck/ VIP, row 13 on the floor, it's my very first concert and I'm so confused. I wanna carry a placard but I am doubting that it'll be far from the stage and BTS won't be able to read it. How near/ far is row 13?? If is closer, then I'll make a nice placard else skip it. thank you!

Is LockUpp currently ongoing?

Is LockUpp currently ongoing or there's a delay of some days? How do you vote for the contestants? What footage is Akanksha watching? I mean if it's live, then the footage will be raw and uncut and multiple cameras. How do they edit and show her what we see? Also, if it's live, how do they take footage from 86 cameras and edit it in the form of episodes for the day? Do they have access to their phones etc?

New to Redmond! Looking for budget-friendly group fitness, Pilates, or high-energy community gyms?

Hi all! I (30F) recently moved to Downtown Redmond and am trying to find my footing here. To be completely honest, I’m currently in between jobs, and the unemployment stress has caught up to me. I’ve gained a significant amount of weight, more than I ever have before and it’s really taking a toll on my mental and physical health.

I’m determined to get back to my usual self, but my apartment gym isn't cutting it. Working out alone in a quiet room is just making me feel more isolated. I really need to be around people - whether that's in a structured group class, a busy studio, or a community-focused gym where there's just good, shared energy.

What I'm looking for:

  • Location: Redmond Downtown vicinity (ideally walkable or a very short drive).
  • Budget: Since I'm on the job hunt, I absolutely cannot afford boutique studios or high-end memberships right now. I need something budget-friendly, or places with great deals.

Does anyone have recommendations for local community centers, independent gyms, or budget-friendly studios that fit this description? Even if it's just a class you love that doesn't break the bank, I'd love to hear about it. Thank you so much in advance. I really appreciate any leads!

EDIT - I just created a FB group - https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1EhnPMphLH/. (fyi - only accepting women, please don't spam)

Delayed periods - stressed out. Please help

I'm a 30y Indian who relocated to the USA after marriage, 3 years ago. I have hypothyroidism for the last 15 years and have maintained it well (with tablets ofc!). I've gained about 5kgs over the last 2 years, mainly due to no exercise and don't think I'm in the best state physically. For the last 3 years, I've been unemployed and I think it's taking a lot on my health. I've been stressed a lot, but idk if that's a valid reason for my periods to delay.

Usually my cycle is ~35 days but this time I'm on day ~71 (last period started on April 29). I know this isn't 'normal' but how abnormal is it? Over the last 70 days, I did get cramps on three different occasions but no periods! Theoretically, you can't trigger periods but I understand you kinda can, practically. How do I do that? I'm stressing even more coz of this delayed periods 😭

I fear going to the doctor, so wanna try resolving this on my own first. Thank youuu!

Top tier Tech Grad, 3Y Gap. Done with coding & corporate, but want to go solo. How do I figure out "what" to start? (I will not promote)

Hey everyone, looking for some genuine guidance from anyone who has successfully built an independent, solo digital business.

My Situation: I’m a tech graduate from a top tier Indian university. I currently have a 3-year career gap due to a mix of major health recovery (fully resolved now) and relocation. I’m currently unemployed, and trying to crack the current corporate job market is taking a massive toll on my stress levels.

Truthfully, I know a traditional 9-to-5 isn't for me, and I absolutely do not want to code anymore. I’ve wanted to start something on my own for the longest time. I don't want a traditional high-overhead physical business (like retail or food), but I do want to leverage my analytical, tech-educated background for a digital solo business, product, or specialized service.

Where I am completely stuck: Between the gap and pivoting away from programming, I am feeling incredibly paralyzed trying to figure out the exact "what" and "how." I have the technical mindset and problem-solving skills, but I'm struggling to find a viable niche that utilizes my background without requiring me to write code.

My Questions:

  1. For those who leverage a tech background for a solo digital business/agency without coding, what are you actually doing? (e.g., product management consulting, technical operations, tech-adjacent services?)
  2. How did you validate your very first idea and figure out what people would actually pay for?
  3. What are the best frameworks or actionable first steps for someone who has the technical brain but is completely paralyzed by the "where do I begin" phase?

I’m tired of spinning my wheels and want to start taking small, real steps. Would love to hear from anyone who has built their own path from scratch. Thanks.

Two questions - Lavender Farm & Whale watching

Hey all! We're visiting Friday Harbor this weekend and I see that the Pelindaba Lavender Farms are permanently closed. Is there any other lavender farm we could visit?
Secondly, we aren't going on a whale watching tour so what's the best location to do whale watching? Is Lime Kiln Point State Park good? Any specific time for a higher probability?

TIA!

UPDATE -

Alchemy Lavender Farms are now on the same spot as the Pelindaba Farms and are open throughout, however if you wanna buy ice cream or any merch then it does have certain timings. Lavender was kinda fully bloomed, but should look even better around next week.
About Orcas, unfortunately or rather as expected, didn't sight any. However, did see a lot of fox, deer and possum.

My Spider Plant is flowering?

I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen - my Spider plant which is probably about < 6 months old is now flowering!? I knew that small plants/ spiderettes would be born(?), but flowers? Do I just trust the process and sit back and wait for the spiderettes? I'm sorry if it's a noob question, I'm pretty much new to plants in general and Spider plants as well!
