Advice on playing Tau?

I'm a gundam builder and have been jumping between many armies and have finally decided to start Tau. I have played GSC & Dark Eldar for combat patrol and I'm going to play this weekend with the Tau and wondering on any advice on piloting the army? Thank you!

Is this career worth pursuing?

Hello,

I am a previous nursing student who had to drop out my last semester due to financial responsibilities and haven't returned. I am currently a certified paralegal working in a PI firm and considering going back to healthcare to escape desk work. I'm being paid 25hourly working 50 hours weekly. And honestly back at my healthcare career prior I really miss it all but being inpatient as a tech didn't pay well. I saw a course that actually pays you during it so I'm strongly considering it! Pros and cons?

Playing LOV? Tips for a newbie

Hello,

I recently started a votann army and will be playing the combat patrol in two weeks. I'm currently at 1k points in total and will start to look into 1k point games while I build up to 2k. I'm pretty much new I've only played two games of combat patrol as GSC prior in 10th edition. What mindset should I be taking into a game and what are some tips for playing the army?

Thank you!

Starting a Kreig army

I found a local store that sells the Krieg combat patrol and am looking to pick it up. I'm new and my main army I'm working on is leagues of votann but would like to start a second army. And tips on the IG? And would it be good to get the current combat patrol on top too?

Also, can't have the datasheets for the combat patrol...

First Game w/ Drukhari CPatrol

Hello,

Tomorrow is my first game with the Drukhari combat patrol. I only played one game of 10th edition with the GSC combat patrol against custodes & won. I'm wondering on any advice to pilot the drukhari coven box. I have a faint idea of just playing obj and having my talos do alot of the heavy lifting. Any advice is welcomed!!!!

Unsure on my next moves

Hello,

I'm currently 4 months into being a personal injury paralegal at a mid-size settlement mill. I feel like I'm drowning. I'm at 90 cases right now with a lot that needs movement and treatment but I keep getting new cases thrown at me and client calls eating my time with the only solution being to work overtime. It's been killing my mental working 50+ hour weeks for the last two months. Personal injury so far has killed any motivation to move forward as a paralegal. I want out but the money keeps the lights on.

Everyday there's a new KPI report that needs to be perfected for our managers. I BARELY get to interact with any of the attorneys. We do Auto, Prem, & WC and it feels like I'm not absorbing any knowledge of the law at all. Just throwing people into treatment and sending out demands.

I do the pre-lit side and I feel stagnant already with the constant pressure of 5 star reviews and constant micromanaging for KPIs.

Is personal injury just not for me or is being a paralegal in general not the move?

I understand the core rules (Decent bit) and the army rule and Ive been reading the codex. Any tips for tomorrow & will people be mean about not having my models painted?

Thanks !

Starting a Loyalist Army

Hello,

I am a newbie to the hobby. I mainly paint and build chaos armies but I would like to delve into having at least a Loyalist Army. Mainly because I saw Titus and a bunch of good looking models. I was thinking of starting Ultramarines or Raven Guard. But there's like... ALOT of models.

Good place to start?

I caved to the excess...

So recently, I was looking into starting a second army. I was doing a bunch of research and deep driving into several factions. I ended up seeing a noise marine and it was a wrap. I really wanted dark Eldar but with the 11th edition I decided to wait and hold off. My army right now is thousands sons I love them but wanted a more melee army when I wanted a break from them. Saw the combat patrol and decided to pick it up (The pink looks so cool).

Any tips for a newbie? I haven't played a single game yet but am planning to bring emperors to my first.

Dealing with PI stress?

Hello,

I recently took a paralegal job doing pre-lit for a big firm. I'm so far 3 months in and the stress is getting to a point where I can't handle it. We are tracked on everything but the cases don't stop coming in. I'm closing in on 100 and I've been working 10 hours of OT a week to stay above water. It's starting to affect my mood and physical health. Had to switch my gym and home schedule to compensate for the long hours and even weekends. They are big on reviews and even score us on how empathic we are to clients. It's very draining and I don't think personal injury at least the plaintiff side isn't for me. I need to stay to get experience since this is my first paralegal job. I have some clerk experience (a couple of months) for criminal defense.

How do you guys deal with the stress?

Good army to start collecting?

Hello,

I am fairly new to the hobby and currently started collecting thousands sons as my first army. However, I am looking into starting a second army. I've been researching and looking into each army. Originally I had my eyes set on Votann, Dark Eldar, and Death guard but then came across the combat patrol for the black templars and started looking into them. I already crossed the dark Eldar off my list but wanted some opinions of black templars build, paint, and in the table top.

For reference I have done the combat patrol for Thousands sons, Adepta Sororitas, and some world eaters berserkers.

Good army to start collecting?

Hello,

I'm a newbie to the hobby and wanted some opinions for a second army. I started collecting thousands sons and absolutely love them. But I wanted to start a second army. I've been tied between deathguard, votann, and dark Eldar.

I wanted some opinions on the army going into 11th edition to see how people feel on painting, building, and playing them before I bought a combat patrol!

Good army to start collecting?

Hello,

I'm a newbie to the hobby and have started a thousands sons army. But I've been looking around for a second army to start to build towards. Right now I'm between three. League of votann, Deathguard, and Dark Eldar.

I wanted to see how votann players are feeling on the army and models. I do like bulky models and not 100% on the votann models but love their style.

I wanted some opinions before buying a combat patrol for them before the 11th edition.

Good time to start the army?

Hello,

I'm a recent newbie to the hobby. I have so far made some world eaters and thousands sons and had a super fun time painting and building. I know for sure I will have a thousand sons army but Ive been craving some dark elves and want to build some but heard that maybe waiting for a new release/11th edition codex would be best. Just wanted some opinions before I buy the combat patrol.

I've currently been working for a settlement mill firm for about two months and I'm starting to go crazy. It feels like a constant pile up with insane demands to meet firm numbers. So far, I've been doing what I can to survive but it's been eating away at my work/life balance. I've asked my managing paralegal for advice and was told to just work more OT. The money is good and this is my first decent paying job but I hate it and the clients have been making me go crazy. I'm not even sure this will help my future paralegal goals since it's just pre-lit. I'm looking into expanding into insurance defense maybe. Any tips?
