auto bxb and double shot

so I wasn't originally going to post because I dind't think anyone cared but I thought it to be clever and i've spent the last couple hrs tweaking it, what am I talking about you ask?

using steam input to auto bxb and double shot for you so you don't have to do button combos, now it isn't perfect and im mostly posting so someone smarter than me can maybe tweak but here's what i got

im using a ps5 controller but you could apply this to anything but BASICALLY "B" executes "x" 205ms after it's pressed with another "B" following at 280ms and then they repeat and cycle at 400 and 800 ms as you can see in the photo and the initial start of the sequence needs to be at "start press" or atleast that's what i've had the best of luck using (sorry they're not clearly marked but the 800ms is the "B" settings and 400ms is the "X" settings)

as for the double shot, it seems to work best when you hold your finger on the fire button for like a millisecond but the fire button is going to execute like 4 commands lol...order it goes is the one with no start delay is your initial press of the fire button followed by another initiation of the fire button at 42ms (it could probably be 50, i was just eyeballing here) THEN followed by an "X" at 200ms and then you have your "AA" at 350 and 360 ms if all goes well, when you press the button ONCE you'll get a double shot and then itll cycle your weapon back up for a quad, i attached a video loosely showing it in action

as for the "BXB" I didn't have a dummy to test it on, but if you just close your eyes and listen to me hit the wall, you can kinda see it work

okay, I noticed I cant post a video in this initial post, I'll see if I can add it in a comment

"popping the disc" for modding on halo 2

was trying to find some footage for a video im working on about the modding scene in halo 2...i was recently looking at one of my accounts on halo archive and saw my last games were warlock, and it just made me chuckle

anyone remember this or have photos of it? or anything? my only other option is to get an original xbox with a copy of halo 2 and attempt to pop the disc myself with a custom game if hat even works, I cant find any footage of this anywhere

This is a shot in the dark (pun intended) but FNV

so I'm playing through TTW and got to little lamp light where the restrooms and souvenir shop just lead to a black room where the only thing I can interact with is the exit, anyone else have this issue or know the fix?

in past modding sessions I'd have to go through and toggle on/off mods until whatever wasn't working, worked, but since this was a mod package and I didn't install individually I wouldn't even know where to start, in the event I can't fix it...do I need to get in the souvenir shop for anything?

thanks in advance

what settings do you use in halo infinite?

for some reason I can't post in r/halo probably because my post karma so here i am

my accuracy in this game is horrendous, compared to legacy halo, it's hard to stay on target and does anyone aim in? i remember in H5, that at least being effective, in this it seems to only make my accuracy worse in some instances, which with full auto, I get it but yeah

i lowered the dead zones on both sticks to zero as well as acceleration to zero and max input at 6

going back and forth from this to legacy halo, im still terrible, but at least more accurate

So I played Halo Infinite Multiplayer for the first time and..

I think I like it, I was a huge fan of halo 5's multiplayer but after beating the campaign in infinite I just never touched the multiplayer until today

I'm still getting used to it, is there any way to get sensitivity up passed 10 on controller? if I use kb/m the mouse is way snappier but I guess that's just kb/m I just don't have that issue with other games

I kinda miss the armor abilities and how they were implemented in halo 5, though the equipment is still cool, I feel like I'm way less accurate in this game though? I'm trying to pinpoint what exactly it is but idk

Savage Planetes is probably the funnest fight in the game

okay so at first when i was fighting the standard base model planetes i got overly frustrated at the difficulty, but after trying for what felt like days, I finally got passed it, fast forward, got passed the gogma fight and being at basically the end i was looking for a challenge with the new gear I'd gotten

Then I realized I hadn't done the savage variant and my god this was fun lmao I get why I was bitching at first, but with a little know-how & some perseverance I made it out and man was i excited

gogma was also a spectacular fight probably one of my favorites next to zoh shia and jin dahaad

at first i was super critical of this game, I like my old school monster hunter, quest boards, key quests & the like, it's why I loved rise so much but after getting to end game here I truly enjoy this game and the world being alive as it is, is the cherry on top, I love nature so i love being able to just go out and start fishing lmao and then you got the leaderboards for fish catches and whatnot, it's so cool

I heard some people complain about not being able to send guild cards traditionally anymore, but the way you can customize your hunter profile is also something I wanna highlight,

but that's basically it, I wanted to admit to the universe I was wrong about mh wilds and while I probably still like rise more I love wilds for what it brings to the table, the visuals, the monsters, it's all intoxicating lmao, but thats it

Beacon of invasion worst quest in the game?

this shit almost had me uninstall the game, i finally got through it but at what cost, what was the point of this, it has nothing to do with the story and even if it did, the story is dogwater anyway so it wouldn't matter but why in the fuck is a nercsylla shooting fucking laser beams at me, it was the most aggravating thing thus far

yeah yeah git gud whatever, this monster was obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious i spam skip through the cutscenes so you can imagine my surprise when there's a glitched out nerscylla shooting laser beams, sounds sick on paper. obnoxious in practice

thank you for your time

is it me or my area? but lyft pays better?

i usually use both uber and lyft but lately or atleast more often than not lyft pays $1/mi.

A lot of times uber wants me to drive 14 miles for $9-$11

whereas i feel like lyft compensates a lot better, what do you think?

Did anyone else play monster hunter like this?

back in the day i remember me and my friends would play mh together but we always tried to make a point of playing outside for extra realism and for some reason a subway lmao.

probably because there was a subway a stones throw away from the summer school we were in at the time anyway I have vivid memories of me and the boys sitting at this park fighting monsters semi irl specifically i remember this one spot by a stream and it was so sick, it always reminded me of forest and hills map

sometimes even today ill se a serene spot and think "damn, that looks like a sick spot to hunt a monster at"

just wanted to share this and see what others say, thought about making a youtube video about it
