Feeling/hearing bones grind against one another

I have recently lost over 170 pounds in three years and am struggling with strength training because every time I move my shoulders/neck/knees I can feel/hear my bones grind against one another and the sound and feeling bothers me. It's not to the point where it's painful, but I hate the sound of it!

Is there anything I can do to lessen the grinding but still get into lifting weights?

Stoned Girl Dinner

It's definitely not as appealing as eating a burrito the size of a baby, but it's still tasty and it's been a rough week.

Trick to multivitamin + iron without upsetting stomach?

What is everyone doing to keep a multivitamin with iron down without it upsetting your stomach?

I've been taking the BariMelts Bariatric Multivitamin with Iron and have tried eating something before taking it, eating something in between taking it, eating something after taking it, and it is still upsetting my stomach and causing vomiting.

Is there something gentler on the stomach? I'm ready to just stop taking the multi all together.

Work appropriate soft pants

I have to start going back into the office which means having to wear hard pants (jeans) after wearing nothing but pajama pants and leggings for seven months. Suggestions on work appropriate (business casual and allowed to wear jeans) pants that feel like leggings?

Suspects trying to trick police

Suggestions for some interrogation videos where suspects think they are outsmarting the police, but end up getting get caught. I love me some "enjoy your karma" situations. Most notable one I can think of is of Stephanie Lazarus. If you haven't seen that video yet, it's pure gold.

Another example is Colby Vinson's killer who thought they were so clever but it ended up taking down half of a family tree!

I love seeing the different techniques police use to get suspects to talk if anyone has suggestions on top interrogation videos I'll take those too!

Learning how to walk again?

Is it weird to have to learn how to walk again after losing so much weight? I'm over 2 years post op and have lost over 170 pounds and just now figuring out what my body can do without the fear of pain.

And now I can feel the all these muscles engage that I keep hearing everyone talk about (so that's what "engaging your core" is supposed to feel like!) and I can feel my posture improving because I'm not having to walk hunched over from all of the weight that I was carrying.

Brand new player, going in blind

I just started playing a few weeks ago on story mode with QTEs set to auto. I'm looking for a relatively chill playthrough. No idea if that is even possible since I know nothing about the game except it's a turn based game that had aesthetics I like.

For a first time should I read up on optimal builds for each character or keep going blind and do what sounds fun?

Animal stuck in window well

Help! I have a skunk stuck in my windows well! Anyone know who to call to get it free and how i can prevent this in the future?

Update: I put a piece of wood as a ramp out and I'll check back in the morning.

Is there a way to stop things from falling into those wells?

[REQUEST] World/city builder without having to join a clan/group

I'm starting to believe this type of game doesn't exist, but I'm looking for a landscape resolution tablet game that involves world building that does not require joining an alliance/clan/group in order to progress or battle other players. Just a nice single player game where I can build my own city or town, a tech tree would be great, but not required, and where I don't have to have any sort of online battles with other players.

Need advice on where to transfer existing roth and bridge accounts

42 years old, single with no dependents. I'm maxing out my HSA, putting 13% towards my 401k which my employer matches (up to 6%), have a HYSA that I contribute monthly, and have a roth IRA that I've been putting money towards.

I joined a subscription based financial company which created a bridge account for me and maintains my roth, but I can't justify the cost for what I'm getting out of it so would like to move my accounts, but have no idea where to begin. I have zero knowledge about stocks/bonds so I would prefer to have someone handle my roth and provide advice on where to allocate my 401k and be able to tell me the best plan so I'm prepared for retirement.

Is there such a company that doesn't cost 2k a year? Is it wise to "set it and forget it" when it comes to investment accounts or do you have to micromanage it?

Does anyone use Vanguard Digital or Fidelity Go or do I need to suck it up and learn what investments I should be using?

How to tell company I'm unhappy with the color choice of siding?

I recently had the siding and particle board redone on my chimney, but I'm unhappy with the color choice of the new siding. The new siding is more yellow than my existing siding (left is new, right is existing). I was never given swatches or approved of the color beforehand so I had assumed they would color match.

I have already given the down payment, but haven't paid the final invoice yet.

How do I tell them I'm not happy with the color without fear of them wanting more money?

Or is it not that noticeable and I'm making it a bigger deal?

Edit: I just wanted to thank all of you that have been actually giving feedback/suggestions instead of letting me know how much of an idiot I am.

Where to even begin after losing 170 pounds

I have lost over 170 pounds and am finally at the number I thought I'd never see on the scale, but I fear that I have lost muscle and would love to become more toned so I look better in summer clothes. Problem is I don't know where to even start. I can't afford a personal trainer that charges $200 a month, and there's so many different programs online, how do I know it would work for me?

Does anyone have recommendations for a program that is not focused on weight loss, but more in toning/building muscle for beginners?

I have a set of dumbells I can adjust the weight on (2 - 8 lbs) and a walking pad at home, would those alone help or do I have to go to a gym in order to get anywhere?

Unable to read/write to local files?

I'm using the Claude app on my phone to create a tracker with charts and goals, but I cannot for the life of me get it to read from a file. I'm having to import/export my data whenever I want a UI change because it completely wipes all the data. Is it not possible for Claude to read from a local for system (or even Google Drive) or am I using the wrong product?

I'm looking for someone to take a look at my must have expenses and income and generate not only a budget for me but advice on how much to contribute to each of my savings/retirement funds.

Right now I'm with Facet, but I haven't really gotten a whole lot out of it.

I have a 401k that has employee match up to 6% and I'm putting an extra 2% into it each paycheck. I moved my Roth IRA into Facet because I thought I needed someone to handle maintaning it. I hadn't looked at it since I first opened it back in 2003. Facet also opened up a bridge account for me, I also have a HYSA that I contribute to monthly and I max out my HSA every year.

I'm thinking about retiring in about 12 years, but I don't really know how much I should be striving for and if my current allocations are acceptable or if that's even possible.

Is there something out there that is like "Hey dummy this is how much of each paycheck you should be putting where, how much you should be saving for things, and for the love of god stop spending so much"

Financial Planner plus accountability person lol.

I just got my flat on April 9th, and I'm already itching for another one. Yes, I realize my cartilage and flat are probably too close together. I had completely forgotten about my cartilage piercing when I got my flat.

Piercer did say I didn't have the anatomy for a daith which broke my heart, so now I'm thinking conch and hidden helix for my right ear, but is it too soon? Should I let my flat heal more?
