I’m trying to generate an Orton glow effect but I feel like there is a happy balance and I think I’m roasting this image.

Thoughts?

Not many times do I personally take photos that are amazing to me right out of the camera. But this shot came out fantastic.

I’ve been seeing a lot of postings of macro lenses being used in normal framed shots or portraits and I was curious what exactly are the benefits of the macro lens outside of what I am assuming a much smaller minimum focus distance??
