Getting sealed box for ice cream that you paid for is your expectation and not their responsibility?

Ordered 4 ice creams from Naturals and 2 out of those were opened and packaging was broken. The only reply swiggy has was “I am sorry it did nit meet your expectation”. How is that even an expectation?? That is the bare minimum.

Husband and I decided to be child free before marriage, but now he says he’s changed his mind and I don’t know what to feel?

My husband (31M) and I (29F) have been married for two years and were together for five years before that. From the very beginning, even before our relationship became serious, I was always clear that I did not want children.
My husband loves kids, but he had told me he didn’t want any of his own because we both had difficult childhoods and didn’t want to pass on that trauma.
The first six months of our marriage were extremely difficult because of my in-laws. My husband supported me throughout, but I still fell into depression and have been in therapy ever since. Even now, I get anxiety attacks whenever I think about everything that happened, especially because I keep asking myself how I let it happen. I used to be a strong, independent woman who never tolerated disrespect, and yet I found myself in that situation. That thought still haunts me.
Last week, one of my husband’s uncles called him and said his wife wanted to speak to me. I assumed it would just be casual conversation since she was in town after two years(we had last met during our wedding festivities)
The moment I answered the phone, she asked if there was any “good news.” I bluntly said no, hoping that would be the end of it. Instead, she followed up by saying, “Hasn’t it been long enough already?” At that point, I handed the phone to my husband. He later spoke to his uncle privately and asked him to make sure no one asked us such questions again.
Yesterday, my husband and I were talking about life, our childhoods, the lack of parental love, and the choices we’ve had to make because of it. Out of nowhere, he told me that he has always loved kids and had always wanted at least one child of his own. He then said that he loves me more, and because I don’t want children, he has chosen not to have them.
Now I don’t know how to feel.
Isn’t that unfair to both of us? I can’t stop thinking that I’m depriving him of something he genuinely wants. At the same time, I was completely transparent about not wanting children long before we got married. I never hid it or expected him to change for me.
Since that conversation, things have felt awkward between us, and I can’t stop wondering whether one of us will eventually end up resenting the other.

Any tips for exploring Gardens by the Bay and Changi Airport to their fullest?

I’ll be visiting in the first week of September. My flight will reach at around 9 am so thinking of exploring the airport first as the check in time for the hotel is 3 pm. Then after checking in will head straight to gardens by the bay and spend rest of the day there.
I’ve been to singapore before but I was naive and had no idea/ did no research before so ended up visiting every attractions but made a lot of mistakes. I don’t want to repeat those.

What I missed the last time-
• jewel rain vortex
• garden rhapsody show
• supertree observatory
• cloud forest and flower dome
• ocbvc skyway
• spectra light show

How I can explore GBTB and from where to start? Any other tips and tricks, some photo spots maybe.
I am open to any suggestions.

Why is this still so normalized in our society?

Came across this reel from a girl who was just sharing her experience of travelling in the general coach in delhi metro after a long time. She was stared at by random men and genuinely felt uncomfortable.
Women in the comments had so many similar experiences to share. I myselt travel by metro every day and the amount of times I have been stared at or touched inappropriately is more than I could imagined. I am constantly on fight or flight mode in metro and in crowded public places.
But, some men in the comment sections will vomit such disgusting things. This is why we can never progress as a society because misogyny is still so prevalent and talking about crime against women is so normalized that even when a crime does happen it does not affect us as deeply as it should.

Anyone else grew up with a narc mom?

I want to start off by saying that I love my mom and can do anything for her, but growing up, she gave me so much trauma that I am still not able to come out of it.
My teenage years were hard since I was an average kid (average at everything: studies, looks, sports, and co-curricular activities) and the only person whose opinion mattered to me was my mom's. I needed her validation so badly, but she never gave it to me. She would always bring me down and pin her dreams on me, like getting into med school.
She would never praise me, and to top it off, she praised others a lot.
A few years later, when I was 15 or 16, I started taking care of myself, and I looked good. People around me would notice and say nice things, but she never did. Then I noticed this strange pattern of her trying to compete with me by wearing similar clothes and going all out with her outfits and appearance so that people would notice me less.
Even though she doesn't look her age now, and people often joke that we look like sisters, I find this obsession a little unhealthy. She even tried on bridal lehengas while choosing her outfit for my wedding.

Are cafe chains like blue tokai an appropriate place for kitty party/reunion??

Asking because I am genuinely confused. Sitting in blue tokai right now and there’s a bunch of old ladies (50-60 year olds) and they are having a sort of kitty party over here.

I honestly thought cafes like blue tokai are mostly for chilling/ working/ enjoying coffee which I am trying to do. These ladies have been creating a lot of noise and disturbing the staff for the past hour.

Its not a self service cafe but you do need to order at the counter but they have asked a waiter to take their order. Spent 15 minutes changing the layout to sit according to their preference. Ever since their order came they have been complaining about the bitterness of the coffee or how they don’t give enough plates.

Where else can I sit and enjoy my coffee in peace? (asking as a coffee enthusiast)
