my mom wants me to give away stuff i explicitly said i want to keep

My mom's friend goes by every month to collect things from our neighbors to donate for children in bad situations which is a great thing that she's doing, and for a long time i have donated clothes, toys, books, school supplies, etc. My mom has been coming over to ask me to check some plushies I have because she says I have too many and that I should give them away. Yes its true that I have a lot of stuff but there's reasons why I have them in the first place, I'm deeply attached to every single plushie I have because most of them are gifts that have been given to me over the years. She's been calling me selfish for not giving them away but it pisses me off so much because she says that as if I have refused to donate a single thing. Every time her friend comes to pick up stuff I always give her clothes or toys, the only thing I'm not donating is plushies and suddenly I'm a bitch?

Its not even like I'm donating no plushies at all, it's just that the ones I didn't want I already gave away, but apparently "I didn't give enough"

Today I realised I had some stuff missing and asked my mom where they were. She gave two plushies away because "she though I wouldn't notice" and put some other two ready in the donation box for next month. She said I was overreacting because one of the things wasn't even mine, it was a pillow with my brother's name on it that just happened to be in my room. That pillow was a handmade gift my grandpa made for my brother back when we were little. We used to share it and when my brother left for college he left it with me. The other thing she gave away was a cheap star plushie from a fair which I didn't need because I had two of them. Before my brother left for college we went on a family trip to disneyland. I spent hours on a game trying to win it and couldn't, when my brother and my dad realised they went up against each other so see which one could win the plushie for me. Both of them tied and gave it to me one each. On the box that I managed to save there were two plushies. One was a green dolphin and the other one was a wolf. During pandemic on my birthday I got covid and my mom herself was the one who gave me the wold plushie as a birthday gift. The dolphin was a gift from my best friend back in primary school before she left and moved to a different country.

I know it's stupid to keep these over random memories but if I'm already giving away other stuff that I genuinely don't mind someone else having then why do I also need to give things that have actual meaning to me?

Mind you I also volunteer part time at a retirement house and at a charity that feeds the homeless, what the fuck is my mom doing besides giving away MY stuff

saved up exactly 0 gems for kasa6 and did the maths to how much i need to grind

i WAS saving up until the gambling addiction and toya addiction came in so i ran out of gems and after some math in order to ASSURE the card i want have to play 25 songs on both hard and expert with full combo and s score daily until the banner comes out (18 days) which is about 2 and a half hours per day taking into consideration any song i might have to redo or any other delays

anything for tsukasa ig?? 💔

i'm pretty sure it's not even possible bc there aren't even enough songs in the game but i am going overboard anyways, i didn't even take into consideration stories, daily rewards, challenge shows, area conversations, rank rewards, etc so technically it's not actually that bad but yk

Was messing around with an oc, wanted to see what he’d look like with orange hair, one hour later and now it’s just bootleg Akito

its like if akito was an adult and wasn’t japanese and wanted to sing like a smoker

maybe this is what happens in the world link and he becomes an adult and gets americanized 🥹✌️

Toya will be the death of me

I have specific banners saved on my pjsk calendar to know when to save up and for what yk like every sane person has

Because I genuinely have 5 favorites equally at the same time there's banners overlapping left and right which makes it impossible for me to have self control and save up, for example right now early august has Toya, late august has Tenma, late september has Akito, mid november has Akito again, late december and early january has both Akito and Rui simultaneously early february has both Tsukasa and Akito at the same time as well, early april has Tsukasa and Akito at the same time again, and finally june next year has the reason why I have a calendar to save up in the first place with soulless Tsukasa

Actually there's still four more banners after that but you get the idea

Because of this I have to order them by priority which can mean many things. Priority can be favouritism since out of the four I love them all to 100% but I love Rui and Akito to 101%, however 1% isn't always enough because if it's between a 4* permanent Rui and a 4* limited Tsukasa well now Tsukasa gets priority. That makes sense right?

So now this is literally last day of Those Who Dare gacha on EN and I had Toya as a possible save up, however there's less than a month between that and Tsukasa's 6th focus, which has not only Tsukasa but it also has Rui and both of them are in the rain with wet hair so that was supposed to take two extra priority points (three point if you count the fact that I could also get Emu which even though she's below Rui and Tsukasa on my favourite's list her card in that specific banner might be one of my favourite Emu cards ever)

And I was so close to achieving self control over the gambling addiction when I saw that I just happened to log on to pjsk at the exact time the Competitive Fire aftershow was going on so I thought "oh I'll join and get the gems what's the worst that can happen"

Unfortunately I don't think I'm getting Tsukasa or Rui because I didn't even have many gems to begin with only like 20k and now let's just say the aftershow had Toya with the limited hair and the messy hair kept staring at my soul and now I MIGHT have 5 crystals.

LOOK, ITS NOT MY FAULT, IT'S THE DEVIL HAIR OK? I SAID I WOULD ONLY PULL ONCE AND SEE IF I GOD GAVE ME A GOOD SIGN, AND GOD GAVE ME A THREE STAR RUI THAT I DIDNT HAVE SO SURELY THAT WAS A SIGNAL TO PULL ONLY HALF MY GEMS UNTIL 10K AND I WOULD GET TOYA THERE RIGHT? AND THEN I GOT A FOUR STAR AND I WAS LIKE WHOA NO SHOT and yeah no shot it was Luka. BUT I UNIRONICALLY WANTED THAT LUKA CARD SO BAD AS WELL LIKE HER HAIR WAS SO GDAMN PRETTY AND THE OUTFIT WAS SO COOL SO I THOUGH WELL SURELY LUKA IS A SIGN OF GOOD FATE THAT I SHOULD KEEP PULLING BECAUSE IF GOD WANTED ME TO STOP HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME A RANDOM PERMANENT 4* BUT NO IT WAS FROM THE BANNER WHICH MEANT I SHOULD KEEP PULLING RIGHT? Then I remembered I'm an atheist and I don't have a god that could send me signals to begin with so I ran out of gems and Toya never came home.

so idk kids go to school, don't do lucy in the sky with diamonds, and don't gamble or it will leave you in poverty and you will never even get the haircut you wanted

OR THAT'S WHAT I WOULD SAY IF I DIDN'T PLAY 30 MORE SONGS CLAIMED SOME CHARACTER RANKS PULLED ONE MORE TEN PULL AND GOT TOYA HAHAHAHA SUCK ON THAT MFS GAMBLING IS AFRAID OF ME

also idk what to tag this but i guess it all technically started bc i was simping over toya in the aftershow so sure good enough

Wandasho Miku and Kaito are the ship I'm going to drown and die on

I hadn't been able to watch the Colorful Stage Movie until right now and it has opened my eyes to the world of WxS Vocaloids because the most emotion I felt in the entire movie wasn't when Miku said her final goodbye but instead it was Wonderland Kaito actively BLAMING HIMSELF FOR NOT SAVING WONDER MIKU??

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

AND THEN WHEN SHE CAME BACK AND HE WENT OVER TO APOLOGISE FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO SAVE HER IN TIME LIKE BRO WAS ON THE BRINK OF TEARS, HE LITERALLY CAME OVER FOR HER ON A FLYING TRAIN OH MY GOD HOW DID I NEVER SEE THIS BEFORE PLEASE I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THAT WAS SO CUTE

AND THEN MIKU TELLING HIM NOT TO WORRY BC SHE'S OK ANYWAYS FAHHHH

Wandasho Miku x Wandasho Kaito >>>>>>>> Everyone else

Only Wonderland tho

It's not that deep and I know that so why did it affect me I hate is so much

I've been telling my parents and my brother for the past three weeks that I wanted to do a marvel marathon with them and to watch the new avatar movie that was going to be coming out, but specifically I had been telling them how I wanted us to watch Tom Holland's movies before Homecoming came out and we all went to the cinema. Fast forward to today I woke up at 6am today and have been in the living room since then with the tv ready. At 10am my mom and my dad woke up and they went to the kitchen to make breakfast, so I went with them and asked them if we could have breakfast in the living room. She said it was ok so I got everything ready and I had the movie ready to play, and my mom just told me to change out of my pajamas because it was already too late not to be dressed up. I went upstair and took like 5 minutes to change and by the time I came back down my mom and dad were already having breakfast with my brother and they changed it to something else. My brother watched tv in the living room the most so I didn't really care that much and since he had just woken up he probably though no one was going to use the tv, so I waited until the movie he chose was over to put something myself. When it was finished everyone left and my dad said he had to work and my mom said she was going to take my brother to the mall and buy him some stuff he needed for school. I stayed and just watched avatar alone and thought in any case I'd rewatch it with the rest of my family later since they also watched the show with me. i finished it but they hadn't come back so I just watched something else in the meantime, and then a few hours later everyone came back so we could have something to eat. After we finished I was going to ask them if they wanted to watch the movie now but my brother had gone to his room, my mom started doing the laundry, and my dad went back to his office. I went back to my room and a few minutes ago I heard some noise so I went out to the living room and my entire family was sitting together halfway through the first spiderman movie. It's not the end of the world that they're watching a movie and I'm the one who went decided to go back to my room, and in theory I didn't really reminded them today that I wanted to watch it together, but after having talked about it for the past three weeks and after they bought the tickets to the cinema today I just thought maybe they'd at least bother to ask me if I wanted to watch with them. It pisses me off because this is the worst thing I could be venting about and it's literally just them watching a movie and even after I saw they were watching I didn't even stay with them so how were they supposed to know I wanted to watch it with them as well but I've been in my room with a knot in my throat and I feel like I'm going to throw up and it's the stupidest thing to be feeling sick over and it happens all of the time I hate it so much but the only thing I wanted to do today was watch a movie with my family and now they're all over there watching it without me and I'm just here like a moron crying and venting over an mundane thing instead of just watching with everyone

I think I'm just going to wait until everyone's asleep and watch them on my own on my laptop

Greeting culture in my country pisses me off

I don't know if it's an issue in all countries or just mine, hence why I specified, but I'm from Mexico and usually when greeting others say at a family reunion you greet them with a hug, and when meeting people you don't know usually you'd also greet them with a hug but maybe a handshake beforehand or something

I thought this had always been the case but a few weeks ago I went out to eat with my family and we ran into some of my father's colleagues. My parents invited them to eat with us and when they were greeting my father and my brother they just went in for a handshake, so when I had to greet them I assumed because they were not friends of my father but colleagues that I should just go for a handshake as well (which was better for me anyways since I've always disliked greeting people with a hug). They went on to greet my mother next and they went for a hug, so I thought maybe it was my mother who went for a hug so I decided to do a handshake anyways. I tried to offer a firm handshake and even leaned back as to make it obvious I wasn't greeting them with a hug and almost every one of them pulled me in and hugged me anyways like what? And even the few who realised I was just giving them a handshake stared at me as if I had offended them and their entire bloodline.

I thought it was kinda weird so I started paying more attention and I've realised everytime I've gone to any type of reunion men will always greet each other with a handshake or a hug whatever they want which is fine, but women ALWAYS greet with a hug, like ALWAYS. The worst case scenario was when two of my cousins were sick so both of them said they'd be greeting from afar as to not get anyone else sick, and when my male cousin said that people would just say like "ok ok" and wave at him at a distance, but when my female cousin said the same people told her "ah its fine either way" or whatever and pull her in for a hug anyways, debatably a closer hug than the usual one

I don't know if I'm exaggerating or blowing stuff out of proportion but I've tried mentioning this to some friends and they just seem to say I'm weird for trying to greet people with a hug and that it's just the normal thing that we're "meant to do" but still wish I wasn't expected to just greet unknown men with a hug all the time. Don't hug me, I'm scared

Trauma torture chamber rooms

I was thinking abt the episode with yk the trauma torture chamber room things and how Zooble's was that they were trapped in a sea of never ending body parts bc yk of their body dysmorphia and stuff and Jax's was like feeling vulnerable with other people or wtv but theoretically it would also be the fear of his secrets being found out and made fun of by others which technically could be an specific fear like idk he's trans maybe and so his trauma torture chamber thing would be everyone watching him being not manly and watching him have the slightest resemblance to something a woman would do have or look like idk my brain is fried rn but you know what I mean

Anyways my point was that didn't gangle sorta made that happen already? Like that one episode of maid outfit Jax gangle made him wear for the rest of the day against his will for everyone to watch the most feminine outfit he could possibly wear like broski actually got to live the trauma outside the torture chambers like damn no wonder he didn't even last 10 minutes more cuz I wouldn't either 😭🙏

i was looking through old playlists today on my phone and found one with my r and i remember a gacha video i saw and wanted to find it again bc i was so sure everyone knew about it but i looked for it and cant find it anywhere and i've been awake for two hours thinking about it and istg im not going to be able to sleep peacefully until i find that exact video

all i know is that its from when i still watched gacha videos which was from 2020 to like 2023 maybe and that on one part where the song said the "i guess today's just not my day" the girl in the yellow cardigan was climbing up like a fence and then she jumped down and then when it said "she looked away from me and then she dissapeared" she walked off and before leaving took of her cardidgan and threw it back at the mc but it was like overly dramatic and well executed LMAO like it zoomed in on her taking off the cardigan and it had like tweening and stuff i think

anyways does anyone know what im talking about and can some one help me find it thank you

do the go to karaoke songs vary per country? which ones are the most popular in your country?

I saw a video of a guy who said his go to karaoke songs were take me home country roads and sweet caroline and everyone in the comments was saying that out of every song he could have chosen those were the whitest answers ever so I started wondering what would someone from another place say if that makes sense

For example in Mexico I'd say depending on the mood I've heard a lot of lamento boliviano, devuelveme a mi chica, oye mi amor, triste cancion, persiana americana, etc.

ULPT Request - Any way to lose my voice or get it hoarse overnight?

I have this huge project at school which is basically the most important requirement to graduate from high school and I got sick and missed it. I did the most important parts and just missed the oral presentation, but all my classmates got their diplomas handed yesterday. I was genuinely sick but my school doesn't really care about that so I feel like the only excuse I could give them was to say I physically could not have given the presentation. I was a bit hoarse yesterday but today I'm completely fine and going back to school tomorrow. I'm hoping to try and loose my voice again so when my teachers ask me in person why I didn't go they'll hear me and won't question me as much.

My brother did this once so I tried to do what he did and so far I have taken a shot of lemon juice and hot pepper, shouted into a pillow, whispered really aggressively if that makes sense idk, showered and got my hair wet with the ac on, coughed into a pillow, and haven't really drank any water except for some ice

Does anyone know if there's another thing I can try pls I'm desperate

Last week in school one of our teachers was talking to us about philosophy or smth like that and i'm not even sure how the topic came up but our teacher told out there was a philosophy that stated you had to throughly think about your options when confronting an issue or something along those lines, and this one insufferable girl raised her hand and said "Oh my god Ms. how can you be teaching us this stuff? That's just basically telling us to overthink everything!!" and the teacher proceeded to tell her how that was not the point of the lecture at all and then the girl spoke up again and said "Teacher, the only people who overthink stuff are those people with like... depression.... yk like those weirdos with anxiety". I was sort of mildly surprised by the implications of that comment and the tone of it but at the same time not really because as I mentioned before, this girl is insufferable, so kind of expected from her, but after that almost EVERYONE in the classroom started laughing and agreeing with her??? Even the smart kids and the ones who have always been so sweet and kind started saying "Haha yeah" and some even started commenting just plain inappropriate stuff like "Oh like that one girl from the other classroom right? Doesn't she have like depression or something? That's so embarrassing".

I'm just genuinely dumbfounded by that because what are you even implying? "Embarrassing"?? How is that embarrassing? After that I did some digging about the girl they had mentioned before who they said had depression because I had noticed she got shunned out sometimes by some classmates but I thought there had been some sort of fight between them and their friend group broke. From what the insufferable girl said: "I wouldn't really hang out with her if I were you. I heard she's one of those... you know... depressed people". So turns out my entire classroom is full of idiots who think this way because apparently everyone treats mental health issues as some sort of deadly contagious disease or idk but just why genuinely why. Do they even hear what they're saying and how stupid they sound? "Don't associate with that guy, he has depression" BOY WHY ARE YOU SAYING DEPRESSION AS IF IT WAS SOME SORT OF SLUR OR INSULT?? TRUST ME, NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN IF YOU HANG OUT WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS DEPRESSION.

My question is still genuinely just why? I've heard people say that people with mental health issues "bring down the mood" or that "they are a burden" but I just genuinely don't think it's that deep. Half these people have probably never even hung out with someone who has depression to know if those statements are true. Actually even worse, the other half probably HAVE hung out with people suffering from depression or anxiety and have never even noticed until they outright tell them, and of course only until AFTER they know about it is when "they feel burdened by it" and that "they're acting kinda weird" even though they have been like this since forever and the only difference is that now that's the only thing they want to focus on.

Also, maybe unrelated but I genuinely cannot tell if nowadays people are being insensitive or just straight up dense because somewhere around the time this happened I was in extracurriculars with some other classmates and the literal teacher asked a guy in the class to take off his sweater because he was gonna get a heatstroke and the guy replied that he was fine and that he was more confortable with the sweater on and the teacher just kept insisting and insisting like oh my god get the hint and js leave him alone or talk in private (mind you this teacher is also the school psychologist)
