i know some of you reading this probably think i’m an idiot, fair enough. in the last 6ish months I’ve been really into Pokemon and I finally got around to actually playing a game instead of card collecting and having my plushes.

I recently purchased Sword and i’m having some fun playing it while learning what I can. My beloved Sobble wanted to evolve into Drizzile and I was wondering do I have to evolve them or any type of pokemon or can i keep them in whatever un/evolution they are in while still leveling them up and waiting for the last evolution?

I want to enjoy the game and play it “properly” but I unfortunately fall into the “omg they so cute” for their first stage which i am working on lol but I also know I have to get over that hill if i want to proceed in the game.

Anyways, any help would be great with little judgement pls and i’m greatly appreciate any feedback even if it’s mean lol

edit: the gameplay on the ss is a play-through, the game was legally purchased by me, also pls avoid any Sword& Sheld spoilers. thank you for everyone’s kind feedback.

maybe it’s just me but i would of just printed him brown/black instead of adding lines to(failing) indicate he’s black 😭😭

edit: i have learned this is how he was drawn back then which is FINE but i still feel they could of added a little more shading, i don’t think he’s being whitewashed or anything, i just feel they could do better representing him but again it was a 13-17 dollar cup so it’s expected lol

again, still very new to the game. i transferred my Oddish from PG to Sword and while playing with him i noticed this when i he was bringing the pokeball back to me 🥺 and wanted to share.

i kindly want to start off saying this is just my opinion, if you have any differences, that’s fine to speak about them neutrally but I will not respond to insults, hostile arguments over an opinion about pixels even if they represent a toxic parent/child dynamic.

i’m re-playing BTS/S1 and both Joyce’s but mainly BtS one just pushes every button when it comes to how poorly she treats Chloe and makes a lot of sense of why S1 Chloe is the way she is. She essentially tells Chloe how to feel and not feel when it comes to David even if Chloe ask/makes a genuine comment/?, she demands authority when Chloe questions why David is there all the time, calls her girlie, and doesn’t pay rent, etc.

I understand she lost her husband, doesn’t make much money, Chloe can be difficult in both games, etc. but where in that equation does it say to ignore abuse, tell your only kid how to feel about an essential stranger to husband you’re with when he’s clearly controlling and abusive even if he “cares”, shove your ex husband away all while demanding any form of respect when your “rebellious” kid is begging to be listened to.

depending on your choices or in general, even Max has to call David’s physical abuse out multiple times, just for her to lecture Max saying that’s not the “real” David and Chloe is essentially to blame for being hit/verbally berated due to C’s behaviour. (aka Chloe lashing out bc Joyce decided to do all of the above years earlier and present in game)

anyways, i hope my rant is valid to some people and if you have ever lived in this situation or currently are, im so sorry and you deserve better. also as said on top im really not trying to argue, maybe I can see some defense of Joyce’s intentions as a mother but I personally cannot excuse abuse.

meet jakub, (Ya-kub), he’s my first and only “mute mii”. his smile is drawn over so his mouth doesn’t open when he “talks” and he has the library voice quirk so he lowkey sounds like a very distorted quiet kinder ghost face. he doesn’t have many friends and enjoys his wool lamb and his cardboard outfit.

i hope you all enjoy him as much as i do and maybe would encourage some to make one of your own.

i wanted to know what everyone thinks of Joyce Price in the big 26.

ill give my opinion for once, she’s not my favourite, i do understand grief but ignoring and letting abuse towards your child happen at the hands of a partner especially not related to the child will never be okay to me. (i do ask kindly if you disagree to not try to change my mind, thank you)

maybe i sound to “woke” but tbh i feel this is the bare minimum for any parent of any type of sexuality relationship but i love watching the growing up cutscenes for straight,gay, tree/paper couples, etc. and watching any type of parent doing what most think are gendered cutscenes.

i think this is a nice improvement especially since the OG game was so gender role specific including the growing up cutscene.

for myself, i would absolutely LOVE if No Repeats had more categories minus food, maybe colours? or treasure items, yes its a nice brain game but it can get old. also would also love to see the rarer mini games show up more often.

in terms of new games, i would love to see Hide and Seek, so theres a small portion that is coded where the camera/player has to scan around to find 1-3 miis with a timer (increasing for each mii). A mii could be found by not standing fully in hiding (say their shirt) or the player can guess and find them straight out. (similar to the hide and seek game in Wii Party).

anyways, would love to know what others would want to add/improve.

i hate to complain about a 1950’s children’s comic/tv series but, i love Schroeder, I have always loved him when I was a kid until now, heck i have a whole collection of him (packed away). However, he’s rarely in any Peanuts’ related media anymore.

I see some of the other side characters getting their own mini show of whatever adventure they go on and struggle with, but Schroeder gets nothing. I’m aware he only is known for plays piano, gets flirted with/mad at Lucy, yells but I feel someone could create a great music theme struggle for him to overcome and conquer that’s not him trapping in his house in that flip ahh pose they put him in lmao.

anyways, before i lose the plot, it’s just sad to read how Schroeder was so prevalent in the comics where we learn he has parents, he goes out, etc and now he’s just drawn usually behind another kid with less screeen time than the grass itself.

ofc, i have nothing against say Marcie or Freida, Franklin, etc. i would just love to see Schroeder more. thank you for reading and sorry for the rant.
