Is it true that every girl would have atleast one proposal/been in situationship/relationship ?

Edho post (28F ranting about arranged marriage) comments chaduvuthunte...a guy posted something on the lines of why not look for love marriage, oka serious relationship oo, multiple short relationships oo vunde vuntai ... avi levante you should think why, especially in tech, ~20 guys are behind every girl...

That really made me think...Is that true?

If someone doesn't have any of those...what could be the reason

He asked how was your weekend and what did you do...I said something and asked him the same... He said "It was my girlfriend birthday..." Dhani tharvatha em cheppina naku vinipinchaledhu.

Strangely, I felt happy and relieved. I'm not sad at all.

Did you decide against an MS abroad and not regret it?

Hi everyone,

I'm 23 and working as a software engineer in India. I've been thinking about pursuing an MS abroad (mainly the US), but I'm stuck because I don't know if I genuinely want it or if I'm just afraid of missing out.

I have a decent paying job and can afford to pursue an MS if I decide to. I'm not trying to escape a bad situation.

I also don't have any close friends or relatives abroad, so I don't have a support system there or anyone influencing this decision from that perspective.

Here's where I'm at:

I enjoy learning and want to become a better engineer.

However, I'm no longer convinced that an MS is the only way to gain technical knowledge. With good books, online courses, and experience, I feel I can learn a lot on my own.

Lifestyle factors like better infrastructure, cleaner air, and governance aren't major motivators for me right now.

My biggest fear is future regret. What if I stay in India, and 10 years later I wish I had experienced living and studying abroad?

What makes this difficult is that I don't have a strong "Yes, I absolutely want to live abroad" feeling. At the same time, I don't have a strong "No" either.

I'd especially like to hear from people who:

Seriously considered an MS but decided to stay in their home country.

Went for an MS despite having similar doubts.

Were undecided like me and can tell me what ultimately made the decision clear.

Looking back now, do you think your decision was the right one? What do you wish someone had told you before you decided?

I'm looking for honest experiences, Thanks!

My_Qualifications: 23 years old, B.Tech in Computer Science from an NIT, currently working as a software engineer in India with around 2 years of experience.

Should I do MS abroad ?

I am not liking my IT job ( 2YOE). So, I'm thinking about "what's next".... lately seeing NRI's ( mostly US and UK , also I work with them) on youtube and instagram, I'm realising that maybe their environment makes them more mature, I'm liking their habits and thought process. One more reason is I want to travel to different countries...I think due to rupees depreciation, It would be difficult to travel to different countries. Also, I want to learn more... because It's better to study as much as we want early.

But I don't have any people in my family/friend circle who went abroad. But all the people I know who moved abroad, moved with some company ( friends or relatives). I'm thinking if I can survive not knowing anyone at least in the initial stages. ( I'm a girl if that matters)

But unfortunately, I never considered moving abroad till now. So, I don't have any research papers or a good GPA ( ~8.3).

I'm not very social and mostly prefer our food, traditions.

So share your perspective, experience on this, if I want to do MS next year, by when should I decide and start the process.

Also, share any good resources to know about how to filter a country, university for MS etc...

How do you manage time if you have multiple interests ?

Hi guys,

As adults, we have so many things to do: job, upskilling, hobbies, fitness, travel, investments, content creation, learning new skills, health, sleep, spending time with family, maintaining friendships etc...on top of all these, I have many other interests like home decor, interior designing, planning outings, editing and many more... feeling so overwhelmed.

Suggest your perspective, thoughts and tips on how you manage time to do all these things, how do you prioritise...

I'm thinking of a solo trip and told my mother I'm planning for it. She said don't go, all days are not ours. Even if I go, don't tell anyone ( relatives, family...) because they judge, shout at us. Also, It could be a problem when we look for matches....they won't like girls travelling alone...I said why will I marry such a person. But it is stuck in my mind. Tell honestly, what do you/boys family think of such girls... too independent? I want to know different perspectives on this .

I have my birthday in a few days. I'm that person who is excited about their birthday and plans it for a month. This time, things are difficult. I don't want to go home, I don't have "friends". I enjoy trips a lot( getting dressed up according to location, taking pictures, forgetting about work tension, our daily life and living differently for a few days, talking with friends...) . So, thinking of a solo trip. But do people/I really enjoy going solo, won't I be bored, regret, tensed ( I'm F) ...

Any other better suggestions for birthdays mostly which can be done alone?

for the trip, I'm considering isha, ooty and coonoor. Are these safe? Suggest if you think there are any other better places for this season.
