I got a new to me MPA DS9 Hybrid that all 4 mags stopped slide locking. 2 MBX and 2 Brand New Checkmates. I ordered a new slide lock part thinking maybe the lug is wore, it’s on the way. I did glue a tiny piece of flat metal to the top of 1 each of the MBX and checkmate follower to push it up a little more and that worked so I’m bummfuzzeled if it’s the springs with the checkmates brand new.

Before i typed all this i did
Check my grip
Cleaned every mag (they weren’t dirty)
Verified the ones i added the tiny metal flat piece to the follower now slide locked

If it’s not the slide lock part, any other suggestions?

Just for reference in the future who makes a good rebuild kit for these mags. grams said his don’t recommend his follower kits for the MBX tubes

I’ve shot a couple local
Idpa match’s using a 2 pc Velcro belt but went to a approved belt and using quick loops but the heavier 1911 have too much movement in them
Will these double loop attachments be much more supportive ? I’m not referring to a USPSA type of DAA belt just a normal carry belt i guess is what’s legal in idpa or what other type of attachment is better pics and even better links if you have one
