Obviously i can get some from my eye place. Has anyone found anywhere online to buy them at a bargain that are impact resistant and will pass a Tier 3 requirement
I’m hell on my eye wear scratch them up cause i sweat so much and wipe causing scratches and my current glasses are $500ish and i know if i add impact resistant it’s gonna go up. I figure a few of you out there have already been thru this

I shoot some Idpa pistol. Just started this year and having a blast. I’ve bought 3 PCC for under $800 trying them for giggles, not in comp though and sold em all. I’ve only seen some AR9 style guns. Pretty fancied up for that looks like in the $2500-3000 range. Does that seem to be the norm? I hadn’t seen anyone shooting anything under really the $2500 mark. I assume they just wouldn’t be competitive huh
I shoot some IDPA and love the P10F so much. It feels so good to my hands i couldn’t help but order a backup. Got a CGW Voodoo version which is basically everything I’ve done to the original except it’s got a 2.5 lb trigger vs a 3.5 in the original one. I hadn’t figured out exactly how they did that. Anyway if your on the fence about a Cz P10 do t even think just do it

Since I’ve ported this thing it gets omg nasty. Acts like it’s stained takes FOREVER of scrubbing to get the soot off. Also, what process are using to clean the grips

Went through a nasty divorce where I finally got my balls back. Thus, got my first Glock. Wanted the Gen 5 in Coyote Brown, but I really liked the feel and grip of the Gen 6. Glock hasn't released it in brown yet, so I "settled" for black. Love the look with the Olight PLX and figured I'd add the Osight K micro. Never shot with optics before, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also, got Rounded holsters being that they are one of a few that make the molding for a PLX light but they work great so far. I had the WarriorLand light at first but didn't like the switch and not so much the look so I sent it back.
Considering a trigger update because I've seen some YouTubers complaining about the trigger, but figured I'd wait until I get some time/rounds from it first. Thoughts?

Ok I’ve shot guns all my life. I’m just an old country red neck and would go out and shoot a single target like most. About April 1 i watched a match locally and was like wow o can dig that so i grabbed a gun and started practicing. I’ve shot 2 match’s so far and hadn’t got a DQ yet lol
I’ve watched all kinds of videos and practice pretty decent now so here’s where i found a issue and i need to figure out if its me or the weapon
It is a 1911. Not gonna mention any brand yet but yesterday as an example i had 5 targets set up practicing doubles on each. Not every time but quiet often when going to target 2 on shot 3 or 4 i would encounter what i would describe as a hard trigger, it just didn’t pull. It wasn’t stuck in reset its kinda hard to explain i could repull i guess you would call it and it would fire and this happened a few times. I’m gonna go out today and try it again and maybe have more details for yall but i was curious could this be something in my grip on a transition or could it be a dry trigger possibly or what else could it be. It never happened that i recall on any other target.
Gimme something to test or check today !!!

I got a new to me MPA DS9 Hybrid that all 4 mags stopped slide locking. 2 MBX and 2 Brand New Checkmates. I ordered a new slide lock part thinking maybe the lug is wore, it’s on the way. I did glue a tiny piece of flat metal to the top of 1 each of the MBX and checkmate follower to push it up a little more and that worked so I’m bummfuzzeled if it’s the springs with the checkmates brand new.
Before i typed all this i did
Check my grip
Cleaned every mag (they weren’t dirty)
Verified the ones i added the tiny metal flat piece to the follower now slide locked
If it’s not the slide lock part, any other suggestions?
Just for reference in the future who makes a good rebuild kit for these mags. grams said his don’t recommend his follower kits for the MBX tubes

Kinda new to shooting matchs and one thing I’ve learned is i definitely like the option to be able to dim or brighten a dot but i hadn’t figured out if i like a 2 moa dot or up to a 6 moa dot. For those of you that have shot idpa for awile. What size dot have ya settled into after trying some. Just kind of curious if size matters much lol

Idpa match’s using a 2 pc Velcro belt but went to a approved belt and using quick loops but the heavier 1911 have too much movement in them
Will these double loop attachments be much more supportive ? I’m not referring to a USPSA type of DAA belt just a normal carry belt i guess is what’s legal in idpa or what other type of attachment is better pics and even better links if you have one
