Pretty often on here, people ask about coating vs bare metal when getting a slide milled. I had my 19x done 7/2022, without coating the milled area.
I dab some oil/grease mix each battery change to keep rust away and it's worked well.
I'm NOT a gunsmith, and when I'm not carrying this one, it goes in a humidity controlled safe. This is after about 17 months since the last battery change.

Looking at an 1500 Elevation x31 with a few inch lift on it courtesy of ready lift. I'm not knowledgeable about how to tell if it was done up right, so I'm looking for input. Tires are 35×12.5 r17 and they rub a bit under max turning. Thanks!
