I thought of a great feature that could be added to different streaming services. Imagine if you could make a playlist of sorts within your streaming service, and it would play different episodes from different shows one after another, almost mimicking normal TV but with shows that you're actually interested in.

I know I personally struggle binge watching shows because I'll either watch too many episodes in a row and get burnt out, or I'll just get tired of watching the same show one episode after another.

I think this would be a good way for people to get through the shows they want to watch while keeping them from getting stale. It could also be great for parents with young kids, I know my friends get tired of listening to the same kids show being played on repeat and the kids don't care what they watch as long as it's one of their shows.

I'm currently going through a self improvement journey, and I'm looking for books that can help me find a way to view the world. Not necessarily self help books, but feel free to recommend them anyways.

My current list is short, and consists of the following:

Art of War

The Odyssey

War and Peace

Waterland

The taming of the shrew

I'm not a big reader, and it's a recent decision to start reading these types of books instead of reading each of the Jack Reacher books.

I want to be inspired to see life in different ways, to benefit myself and inspire myself to change the world around me.

This isn't a post about piracy, I'm merely asking in terms of preservation.

There are some songs that I know of that don't have CDs or even albums to buy, and I would like to add some of these to my MP3. Is there a website or anything where I can get them from? Or is there an easy process to take them off of YouTube?

For example, there are a few mashups I listen to by XYClanKiller2 but they're not available anywhere except his YouTube channel, and I also like a lot of the Rhett and Link songs but I think there's a CD for those.

I'm buying the rest of my CDs or borrowing them from friends and family.

I've been looking for an DAP to replace my iPod Nano which has unfortunately committed suicide due to the current UK heat (the battery bloated and cracked the screens)

And so far I've found a few potential purchases, but some of them have too many cons.

The main two I've seen are the snowsky echo mini and the hiby R1, but I've just seen the TuneZimp and I can't find much information about it other than this website which rates it better than any other MP3

YouTube has no reviews and I can only find one post on Reddit but they don't mention the TuneZimp other than by name. The website has a picture of MrWhosetheboss but doesn't seem to have anything else to do with him, which seems sketchy.

Is it a scam? If not where can I find reviews for it? If it is a scam, what other recommendations would you have?

I'm looking to buy a DAP and replace my YT Music subscription. I'm going to buy CDs from charity shops and then donate them back when I rip them.

I'm asking on behalf of my step mum,

She's looking for a thermal mug that could keep her drink warm for up to 10 hours. Her specifications are quite simple;

Must be easy to clean

Must stay warm for around/up to 10 hours

Must have a coffee mug lid, not an open top

And must be at least the same size as a regular mug

I've been looking at the Chilly's series 2 coffee mug as I like some of the other Chilly products, but it advertises as staying warm for 4 hours. She looked into some of the Stanley mugs, but she said the reviews say that they leak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone vouch for how long the temperature retention lasts? It advertises as 4 hours, is this an over or under estimate?

I think it would be a cool idea if Helldivers could wager Super Credits among friends possibly by using the Stratagem Hero game?

I'm looking to minimise my phone usage by replacing my Nothing (3) with a dumbphone. But I intend on keeping my Nothing (3) on me in my bag for certain situations where I still require a smartphone, such as any time I need to access the internet or check maps.

I'm hoping to buy a strong and protective phone case so I don't have to worry about my phone getting damaged while I keep it in my bag.

I used to own a metal gorilla case for my old iPhones but I've noticed you can't buy them for anything other than apple products. Any suggestions?

I have previously posted about my Jelly Star and how the battery doesn't last longer than 3-5 hours while not being used. I have tried refunding through Seal, and through their website. Seal only accepts refunds for issues caused by shipping and delivery. And their website asked me for additional information, that I was unable to supply as the steps they gave me didn't work. I submitted an image of the battery setting showing that there were only 3 and a half hours left of charge despite being on almost 100%. I was told by Unihertz to supply an image of the Battery Stats Dumper which you can only open by entering a certain set of keys within the phone keypad, when I entered these keys, nothing happened. I've emailed the service team that Unihertz provided for me and explained the situation, they have not replied to me in over a week.

If anyone from Unihertz is reading this, I'm happy to send the product back, I just want a refund. Once I get the refund I'm happy to take these posts down.

So I bought the jelly Star and I've had it for a few days now. The battery life has been VERY up and down. I charged the phone last night and woke up this morning to 8% charge remaining. The phone hasn't been used all night. It was left for roughly 7 hours, with 0 notifications, no apps playing in the background. The other night, I did the same thing, and it went from 94% to 81% overnight.

Obviously my question is why could the battery have died in 7 hours when people say the battery lasts them 1.5-2 days, and why does it change so drastically for me?

EDIT: I got the phone 4/5 days ago. The past few days the battery has been fine, but the fact that the battery drained by 86% over 7 hours has worried me. I don't want to be walking up every day with my phone dead, and I don't want to have to leave it on charge over night. While typing this little paragraph, the battery has gone from 64% to 54% in the 2 minutes it took to write.

EDIT 2: Phone drained to 14% around 8am, charged it to 74% at 9am, took it off charge and by 10am, it went down to 57% with absolutely no usage. And then down to 38% by 11am without usage. At 12 it was at 26% and when I went to use the contactless payment, it wouldn't work at all. Spent 5 minutes trying to use it (no exaggeration). Safe to say I'm returning it ASAP

I'm looking into getting the Jelly Star to reduce my usage of social media and increase the privacy I can have while using my phone. I know there are other "dumbphones" that are specifically made to give you the maximum privacy when using it, I just wondered if anyone knows Unihertz's stance on user information and privacy.

With companies becoming very invasive and greedy when it comes to people's data, it puts me off going online so I'm just looking for a phone to lower usage and prevent my data from being taken.

Currently trying to pimp out my keyring with a few small and useful tools. So far I have:

Rovyvon A8 G4 torch

PZOZ multi charger

And technically I can put my leatherman Micra back on my keys.

Anything else you guys think could work?
