Sunglasses dirty/scratch up quick and easy, run through a lot of pairs

The most recent example is a pair of aviators I bought last week. They seemed to have a bit of stuff on them today, probably dust. I have some lens cleaner spray. Sprayed it on both sides, wiped off well. It’s even worse now.

When I look at the glasses, I can’t find many scratches, but something is obstructing my view. It doesn’t look like much of anything looking at the glasses though. But the more I clean, the worse it gets.

I’ve had this problem for years. I’ve never been able to keep a pair of sunglasses for more than a couple months. Advice appreciated.

Would the owner need to be present if people want to view the property?

Have a house, but frequently leave for a year plus at a time, and was interested in furnishedfinder.

But if people want to look before renting, and I’m halfway across the country, would I be able to just have a lockbox for them?

Printing one off tshirts with designs already made?

I’ve been seeing some shirts for sale I really like, these are tiktok shop/etsy type shirts for $20. They seem to all be Gildan, and the 100% cotton baggy shirts I don’t like

I really like fresh clean threads, and seems next level 6210 is very similar. Can’t find a single next level or related shirt option for the current listings.

So I figure, instead of spending $20 for a shirt I don’t like, what if I spent $3 for the PNG design off Etsy, then slap it on a blank I like for $25, and cover shipping? Only issue for me is I can’t find a blank in tall sizes either.

Anything I’m missing, any recommendations for who to use/what to keep an eye out for?

Manufactured vs Brick Home Values

At least around me, it seems like manufactured homes are worth just as much.

I am looking at recently sold in a specific neighborhood. 26 year old manufactured home sold for $200k. There were two of them. Sitting on 0.75 acres.
Brick house built in 1978, completely move in ready. Modern HVAC, roof, etc. It is selling for $175k on 0.4 acres. (Just got out of a showing for it, it truly is move in ready)

Why would the brick be valued less than the manufactured?

Healthiest everyday grocery store cereals?

Don’t know too much about cereals, but when I’m in a pinch I want something healthy.

I workout, trying to put on muscle and lean out at the same time.

Is wheaties still the top? Or are there other options. I don’t want any fruity pebbles or Cinnamon Toast Crunch (my mouth does, not my body)

Guest Suite for furnishedfinder? Cutting a house in half (metaphorically)

I am about to purchase an older 4b/2b house, do some renovations, and I will live on one side. This house is 11 minutes from a major hospital, and is within walking distance of entertainment, grocery, and fast food. The house comes pre-furnished.

Plan to cut the house in half essentially. There are currently two driveways, I will put an exterior door in the back. Make the back a cut off 1 bed 1 bath, and turn another bedroom into a living room with a kitchinette, this is all the back of the house. I would cut it off by replacing the interior doors going to the back with more “outside apartment style” secure doors. Washer and dryer included in the large bathroom. It will all be accessible by only the tenant. I will live on the other side, maybe with a coworker, 2 bed 1 bath with a kitchen and living room.

I will cover all utilities to keep it simple. We would share mailboxes, little bit of trust there.

I get sent out of town for work sometimes for extended periods, if that happened I may just open up the house to the person renting this suite, and when that term ends put up the whole house until I return.

Does this sound like a decent plan, or is there anything I should reconsider?

Also: It seems hard to find property managers for furnishfinder/short/mid term rentals.
I am thinking of managing myself, but sometimes out of state work gets really busy sometimes.

How do y’all incorporate deadlifts into your split?

Only split I can really think of to incorporate is anterior/posterior, which I’ve never tried.

Deadlifts are the absolute best lower back exercise for me, and probably the best all-around body exercise. That’s kind of the problem though.

With deadlifts obliterating my back, hamstring, and glutes, do y’all hit it on leg days, or back days? How do you account for the other body parts being fatigued from the day prior?

Manufactured homes - Why buy already on land?

I am looking at listings.

30 year old manufactured houses on 1/2 acre for my max budget.

I just can’t get the thought out of my head that I could buy 3-5 acres, get all utilities installed, pour a slab, put a brand new singlewide down, and be all in for over $50k less than these manufactured homes already on properties.

Is there anything I’m missing, am I thinking about it wrong?

Also, it’s hard to justify when you can get brick houses for cheaper, just with less yard.

Using modding tools vs player settlements mod- adding settlements to a campaign

I didn’t realize you could assign cultures and stuff to player settlements. It might ruin immersion a little, adding after the game started, but is there really a major difference other than it will only be a thing for that save, can’t be applied anywhere else?

Using the modding tools to add 30 or so settlements, for a guy that has never modded, would probably take 40-50 hours I would guess to learn and then do.
Player settlements would take like 1 hour.

For those that have done this, is there a major difference in quality to be noted? Is the modding part easier/harder than what I thought?

How to legally build a cabin in NC?

Anyone build a cabin in N.C., or know anyone who has?

When I read the codes, it looks like there is no possible way to build anything that isn’t on a concrete or block foundation. You are only
given 3 options: pier and curtain, slab on grade, block.

I want to do a 600-700 square foot cabin on skids ideally, but at worst, pier and beam. Wood only (other than the concrete to hold the piers)

It seems that is no longer legal. So how is it possible to build a house that isn’t permanent, and use it as a primary residence?

It it just me, or are oil changes getting crazy expensive?

Just bought 2 gallons of valvoline and an oil filter for $110. It’s almost worth taking it somewhere for a change at this rate

Seems like it used to cost $50-$60 a few years ago

Edit: seems I’ve been misunderstood. The $110 was for the oil and filter for me to do this myself. I’m not taking it to a shop, never have.

For more info, this is for a 2015 Silverado. Takes 8 quarts. I bought 2 gallons because 1 gallon and 3 quarts was only $5 less. Valvoline and Wix

Lesson learned. Will order online next time

Process of buying first home. Agent, lender, what’s the process?

I’m in the process of finding a place I want to live within an hour of my work, with certain places out of the question.

Came across a couple interesting places, but didn’t have enough info in the listing for me to want to pursue.
A couple really interesting places, but needed some work so I wasn’t sure if it would qualify for conventional financing.

The way I’ve been approaching it is to look until I find a property I absolutely want. Find an agent, find a lender, make an offer.
I didn’t want to go to an agent earlier, and have them recommend me 10 houses, I don’t like any of them, and I’m wasting their time.

Am I doing it the best way?

Btw I am “preapproved”, but they didn’t take my credit score or anything. Literally just asked what my estimated purchase price would be and immediately sent back an approval, like its computer generated

Starting to feel the cons of quitting outweigh the pros

Been off zyn for between 7-8 weeks (don’t remember the date)
I feel a lot more tired, even though I’m well past withdrawals and it’s out of my system. Constantly knowing that if I had a zyn in, I’d be much more alert and capable.
I sleep a lot worse. I feel better when I wake, but I can’t sleep as long.

The only benefit I can see is that my cardio has greatly improved, which is why I am staying off. But the thought crosses my mind every couple of days

What do y’all do with most places you discover?

I always tell myself I’ll come back to em, even though I want to explore. I just dont want to spoil any quests that might be there

However, it seems like I might be missing a lot. It’s hard to find side quests.

For reference. I have beaten this game multiple times, but it was so long ago I hardly remember much about the game. So this almost feels like the first time again

Looking for some toy hauler ideas for full time living with a 1/2T pickup

I have a 2015 Silverado 1500. I’m a single guy in my 20s for reference.
I work for a traveling company. I may go somewhere for 6-12 months at a time.

Looking for a camper to live in while I’m out of town for extended periods, and I have a motorcycle I’d like to bring with me. Right now I have an enclosed trailer for it, but I’d probably sell it off. Seems like most toy haulers are either meant for larger trucks, or don’t offer much living space. Maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough.

Kind of thinking about buying some land, building a garage, and living in this camper in the garage too. So consider it full time living

Anyone have suggestions please?

Building vs Buying?

I’m looking at houses in my area - cheap older 2 bed 1 baths are about $150,000-$170,000 on 1/4 acre.

I have a construction background, designed myself the simplest house I could. 24x48 rectangle, no fancy finishes, laminate floors, etc. Figure I could do the framing, grading, running water/plumbing, flooring, etc. I just wouldn’t do the block foundation.

If I could get 3-4 acres for 50,000, get well, septic, power for $25,000, that would leave 75,000-95,000 to even out with the cheaper 2 bed 1 bath.

It seems like building is riskier, but possibly the better product for a similar amount of money. But I’ve never done it before. Would like some opinions.

For reference, most of the construction I’ve done is horizontal, not vertical.

How to eat until satiated without eating too many calories?

Started gaining weight back after initially losing water the first week.

I’m eating 1 meal a day. 1lb beef, 6 eggs, 4oz cream cheese. It’s about 2000 calories. Eat it around 4-5pm.

I feel satiated until the next day. Get a few hunger pings in the morning. Around 11-12 I spend the last few hours just thinking about how hungry I am, makes it hard to concentrate on work. But obviously if I eat more than I burn, I will gain weight.

Also just wondering if it’s a period where you have to adapt to being hungry and you get used to it? - just knowing you are getting the proper amount of calories

Ways to finance a home without a construction loan?

I don’t want to be held to progress reports and certain time constraints to get a house built (because I’m going to build most of it myself, and it’s going to take a while.

Could you use a PLOC for something like this?

Also, I imagine it’s better to get loans for garage apartments, so I’m leaning simple budget house. (Cheap finishing, rectangle, two story)

Is there a way to have other formations stay with your main?

I mainly run archers.

However, I want infantry protecting my flanks.
In a battle with ideal terrain, not a problem. I situate all my guys and they don’t move.

But in an area that isn’t great terrain, I normally engage my archers in loose formation, so they can fall back on their own and keep firing, not letting anyone (other than cavalry) reach them.
However, if I engage the archers, the only way to have the flanks continue protecting is to manually move them each time the archers move (which is frequent)

I can make it work, but I would spend most of the battle doing that instead of looking for new opportunities, or killing

Why are some rare heroes ranked above epic?

Pretty much brand new.
I’m not sure how to tell which heroes are worth investing in.

I have Kael, Pelops, Hope. I’ve neglected Hope because everything I see says invest everything into Kael. So I’ve split all my leveling resources between Kael and Pelops.

My lvl 6 Hope still has better stats than my lvl 25 Kael. So why does HellHades rank a rare Kael higher than an epic Hope?
