Finally, after a year of my breakup, I'm letting him go!

I 24F was in a relationship with this guy 28M last year, he had a very long term relationship once which ended long ago, but he was kinda messed up because of that. Still we thought about giving our relationship a chance, he was good, did efforts for me too, travelled through states to meet me, but still he was emotionally unavailable. We realised we couldn't work out this way and we broke up, but on a pretty bad note ig.

About me, I never really moved on tbh. I still think about him everyday, and I know he's with someone else now. But due to some urgency i texted him today morning(it was really urgent) and realised I'm unblocked. He responded instead of acting cold, asked about my well being, also apologized twice for cheating on me(he was texting his ex while being in a relationship with me), asked about my whereabouts and when the conversation ended, he blocked me.

Although it was pretty expected, as he is with someone else now, and honestly I am at a much better place now.

But even today- I forget to ask him the question which I thought about asking him a year ago- did he ever loved me?

But soon after he was gone, I didn't get the urge to re read our old conversations, look at his pictures, or look at his gifts, neither did i ask about our relationship while talking to him.

I waited for him to come back, for a year, he's an avoidant and I've heard avoidant do come back, sometimes I used to wake up in the morning with the weird intuition of getting his text. Part of me used to wonder how would I react if he comes back again, will I cry? Or fall back again? Or be desperate enough to reach out to him in any way? But to my surprise, NONE of this happened today!

Yes I did feel bad that a version of him I created in my mind is gone, and i swallowed the hard pill that he will never come back again. I did cry a little but I feel so so so happy and relieved now girliessss

Idk I just feel like hugging someone because I'm finally ME after a long time now. I deleted our conversations and pictures too, without a hint of resentment, anger, live or pain!

Your girl is back on her foot again!

Although I realised, I can never love someone the way i loved him and that's good too, I can't lose myself over a boy againnnnnnn!

Ex(28M) unblocked me (24F) after a year, and blocked soon after our conversation ended

Hey guys,

I'm genuinely curious about this stuff.

No hard feelings, no resentment towards him.

But even though, I forget to ask him the question which I thought about asking him a year ago- did he ever love me?

I know asking it here makes no sense, but ik some of you would've been in a similar situation at some point of your life. What do you think? Why did he suddenly unblocked after a year but blocked soon after the conversation ended?

Tl;DR- ex unblocked me after a year, I asked him stuffs and he did ask me about my whereabouts too, apologized and then blocked again. What was going on in his head? Did he really loved me at any point of his life?

Brown discharge for 2 weeks and periods delayed by 1 day- any treatment in ayurveda?

I'm 24F, and I'm having brown discharge for the past 2 weeks amd ideally I should've got my periods yesterday but it's delayed and I am really really scared. I'm also untouched and not sexually active, Have no itching or pain, and I always had 28 days cycle and was regular too, I was having my exams since may so yes I was stressed but now I'm just scared.

Allopathic doctors just prescribe me birth control to induce periods and meftal for pain and I don't want to do that. Does ayurveda has any cure to it?

Brown discharge for 2 weeks amd a delayed period- how concerning is this?

Hey girls, I'm 24F, and I'm having brown discharge for the last 2 weeks, and I'm very much scared about it. I usually have a 28-day cycle, so my period date was yesterday, but it's delayed by 1 day. It has NEVER happened in my case, and it came a little early on the months when I was scared.

I've 6 been sexually active for a year now, and there's no chance of pregnancy, so what else it could be?

Also, there's no itching or burning or pain.

Guysss, what do you think? How should one prepare for Re NET? It's obvious that they're not gonna copy-paste the pyqs again, and honestly, I'm confused. Which section I should focus more on?

I just feel like ranting tonight

I(24F) had a fight with my mom, a pretty bad one ig. But today happens to be one of those days where I feel it's hard to let go of certain things she said. Don't get me wrong, my mom is the kindest lady I've ever met, but she has her own share of trauma. She was married early, had an unstable relationship with her in-laws, and we suffered financially during our childhood, too, and all my life, I've seen her sacrificing herself for us. Now that I'm a grown-up myself, I try my best to make things easier for her. I am preparing for government exams, and apart from my studies, I take out time to cook protein rich food for her, take care of her, and I don't even shy away from going against my dad if he is being unreasonable with my mom.

She, on the other hand, doesn't understand these at all. She thinks I don't actually help her in cooking, I just cook fancy food for myself, and I find it pretty hard to explain that the diet should be rich in protein as her doctor has advised. When having a fight with my dad, she often says that the way you are behaving with me, you're gonna feel bad when another guy will behave the same way with your daughter. Mumma, I'm YOUR daughter too, how can you even think about it? :) I don't want yo bring this up because she'll again become a victim somehow and blame me for everything.

She has a friend circle with whom she goes out for yoga classes every day, and I make sure to greet her friends and behave nicely with them. But idk whyyy she gets so pissed off when I take a day break from my studies and goes out with my friend once in a blue moon. Like I get it mom I'm still unemployed, you don't have to bring that up every time. I just have 1 friend left in my hometown, i lost contact with almost everybody and today I just went out with her to have panipuri, that too just for an hour.

When I came back she scolded me in front of my friend and even scolded her too for roaming around the city and tbh girlies, I'm so soo embarrassed atm, she could've scolded me afterwards too, but when I told her about how much embarrassed I am, she started playing victim card and took the whole conversation to an another direction.

About my friend, she's sweet and Ik she won't have felt bad about it, but whenever I visit her home, her mother and her 2 sisters treat me as their own, her mother always cooks chole bhature when I visit because I love it, and not just that, I am a slow eater and it takes me 10 mins to finish one bhature, so she turns of the flame, wait for me to finish my bhature and then cooks another one for me to have it hot and fresh. I wanted my mom to treat her thay way only, because it has been ages since she visited my house, but it was so embarrassing this time.

I'm not feeling great, constantly crying and questioning my existence, is there even an escape from this?

Brown Discharge with a few drops of blood mid cycle, is this normal?

Hey girlies, I'm 24F, and two weeks after my periods, I noticed brown discharge and thought it might just be an early period. But this continued for like 7 days, and for the past two days, I spotted a few drops of blood. It's not a lot, just a few drops, with absolutely no pain and no itching or burning sensation.

My cycles are usually normal, and I get regular periods, but this is the FIRST time something like this happened to me.

And yes, I broke up with my ex back in October 2025, so there's no intimacy after that, which makes me wonder why I'm having this weird thing going on.

Is it just old blood? Should I be concerned?

Brown discharge 2 weeks after my periods, is this normal?

Hey, I'm 24F, and I've been having brown discharge for the last 5 days. I used to have white discharge before, but this time, it's brown spotting, and I'm hell scared. I've always had regular periods before, i did have brown discharge, but usually a day before or after my periods, but the fact that this is continuing for the last 5 days is concerning.

Chatgpt says it's just old blood coming out.

I have been intimate with my ex once, although that was back in October 2025. It was the first time, and we broke up soon after that, since it was a terrible breakup I went through irregular periods for 3 months(but never missed a cycle) but it was all fine again since January 2026. This is very much traumatizing for me, and ideally, I should be getting my normal periods around 17th august as I generally have a 28-30 days cycle.

Altough No smell or pelvic pain.

Docs, is this normal? When should I see a gynac?

Help- Brown discharge for 4 days in betweem my period cycle

I'm 24F and my usual period cycle is of 28'-30 days. On the 18th day after my period ended, I noticed spotting which I thought would last for 1-2 days. But it's still there and today it's the 4th day. It's brown discharge, slimy texture and just 2-3 drops per day. I'm scared as this is the first time it's happening. I still have a week to get my normal periods.

This month I've done some changes in my diet- I am working out, taking protein, and eating iron tablets daily. Is it because of these changes? Should I be worried?

P.S- No I'm not sexually active, I'm a virgin.

Spotting and brown discharge normal?

Hey everyone, so I got my periods last month around 21st july, it has been just 2 weeks and last night I realised I've got my periods which was shocking because my period cycle is of 28 days. This morning I realised it was just brown discharge(just a few drops) , how ever, I've never had this in between my periods before, it usually happens on the first day of my periods and afterwards I get periods as usual.

I'm scared tbh, this month I started running and doing workouts, can this be a reason too?

Thin hair girlies, does your scalp also become more visible after oiling?😭

My scalp looks relatively normal when my hair is clean and dry, but after oiling, my hair clumps together and the crown/parting looks significantly more exposed. I naturally have thin hair but I don't remember if my scalp was always visible after oiling.

Is this normal with fine/thin hair, or does it indicate actual thinning? Should I be concerned?

If anyone has reversed their hair thinning, or scalp visibility, please share whatever worked for you?

Is it worth giving up a 10-year friendship over ideological differences?

I never thought I'd post something like this here, but I guess asking strangers for advice is better than discussing it with people I know.

I've been friends with her since school, and I mean real best friends. We've literally been inseparable for the last 10 years. She's been there through my highs and lows, and I've done the same for her.

Now, I'm a liberal. I wasn't one back in school, but let's be honest, we all have our own share of stupid opinions growing up. For college, I got into a Tier 1 college, and being part of debating societies, and interacting with people from different backgrounds changed the way I see things. It made me realize why being tolerant and open-minded is so important in a diverse country like India.

My best friend, though... I hate to admit it, but she's still an andhbhakt. We both knew our political views were completely opposite, so we made a rule years ago to never discuss politics because we didn't want it to affect our friendship.

But today we had a huge argument about Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike. It honestly broke my heart to hear her call it propaganda and label him anti-national. If that opinion had come from literally anyone else, I would've argued back without thinking twice. But hearing it from my best friend hurt differently. All I could say was that I can't make peace with the fact that someone so close to me could think this way. I can't just brush it under the carpet because, for me, this isn't some small disagreement.

She says she's heartbroken too, that I'm willing to throw away a 10-year friendship over "just politics." But for me, it's not just politics. I find it difficult to be close to someone who openly supports a party that I believe has enabled criminals and rapists. And if you don't want to support someone's hunger strike, that's your choice, but why mock it or dismiss it so casually?

On top of that, she's deeply religious while I'm an atheist, so we've already had plenty of differences over the years.

I genuinely don't know what to do. If I lose her, neither of us will really have anyone because it's always just been the two of us. We've been so so close, and I really need her. I want us to grow up together, I love her, and the thought of losing her hurts. But at the same time, I don't know if I can ignore something that feels like a fundamental difference in values.

Women who are older than us (we're both 24), please tell me honestly, am I overreacting? Has anyone here ended a long friendship over differences in values? Was it worth it? I don't want to lose her, but I also don't know if I can stay close to someone whose worldview feels so incompatible with mine.

Also, I'm gonna share this post link with her, please guys write your suggestions for both of us so we could reach at the middle ground or work upon it?

Why is it so, so hard for some men to accept that not every woman who talks to them has a crush on them?

I'm writing this just because I really need to get it off my chest. I'm 23F, and I'm preparing for government exams, so I've joined a few coaching classes and random exam-related subs here on Reddit. Last year, I became really good friends with a guy here. He was also preparing for the same exams, and he was 30. He guided me a lot, and I genuinely considered him my elder brother. We've met a couple of times for test-related stuff, and he always came across as a decent guy.

I've never had a single conversation with him that could've been taken as a green signal. But one thing that always bothered me was how much he stalked my Reddit. He always knew what I was posting, what I was up to, why I'd changed my DP, and even though I'd hidden my Reddit activity, he somehow managed to come across every single post I made. I ignored that red flag for way too long.

Now yesterday, I made a post about how dating apps are total shit, and idk how, but he came across that too. Around midnight, he texted me saying that I should've dated him.

I genuinely cannot describe the amount of disgust I felt at that moment. A guy I literally looked up to as an elder brother, who's nearly 7 years older than me, suddenly asking me to date him. And no, it wasn't a joke. It pissed me off so much that I still can't let it go even a day later.

I've blocked him everywhere and cut all contact with him, but I'm still so disgusted.

What genuinely baffles me is why some men automatically assume that if a woman talks to them, she's a potential romantic interest. Why is it so hard to believe that sometimes a woman just sees you as a friend? Or an elder brother? Why does everything have to become romantic? And what makes this even worse is that I'd literally told him about how my coaching teacher, who was 10 years older than me, randomly started texting me and being creepy af. He knew how much that whole situation disgusted me, and yet he had the audacity to do something so similar.

The funniest (or creepiest) part is that he's probably stalking my Reddit even now. I'm pretty sure he'll come across this post too. And honestly? This time, I want him to.

Aghhh girlies, I'm so pissed off.

Which planet is associated with hairfall and weak eyesight?

I'm 24F, with literally no family history of hairfall and baldness. Everyone in my family has thick, long hair, and even I used to have it, too. Since 2020, I started having brutal hairfall that hasn't stopped until now. I lost almost 70% of my volume, the luster is gone, and I have a female pattern hairloss now.

I tried EVERYTHING. Fixing my diet, yoga, I don't eat sugar, no junk food, a clean diet, and visited my dermat too, and now the only option left is Minoxidil, which is a life long commitment.

I feel upset looking at my old pictures where I had gorgeous hair.

Since I've no hope left, and even science says so, I just want to know the reason why it's happening.

Is my sun weak? Do I need to do surya argha daily, any hopes is astrology regarding this?

Also, I was diagnosed with myopia in 2018, and my eye power is increasing every year.

For reference, I've attached my chart

A year of No-Contact and I still dream about him, why?

He was an avoidant, we broke up since he cheated on me. The relationship was short lived, 5-6 months maybe, but it's been a year now, and every day I sleep with the hope of next day being a better one but he shows up in my dream, we don't talk in my dream, he just looks at me and smile.

Please help me out, I've been so miserable lately and I don't know why it's happening to me. I know he is with the girl he cheated on me with, and he won't come back, EVER! Like bro just leave me alone in my dreams, but naahh, it's beyond my control now. I'd been so pathetic lately, any cure to this feeling?

Anyone else who's feeling the same? Not to feed my delulu, but is it happening because he is missing me too?

It's been one year and he hasn't reached out even once, am I (23F) non existent for him now(28M)?

So I was dating an avoidant last year.

  1. The intensity was too high from the talking stage itself, he proposed within a month, was too good with his words, talked like a mature adult, obviously because of the age gap too( I am 23 and he was 28).

  2. The efforts during relationship was unmatchable, he flew through states to meet me, brought flowers, books, made me feel very beautiful, board game together, date nights, dinner, pool session, we made a lot of memories when we were together. (It was a LDR thingy)

  3. After 3 months, checked his social media and, I got to know about his ex of 7 years, and he never mentioned her to me, girlie warned me against her as he cheated on her thrice during their relationship.

  4. I was a fool, decided to trust him, give him another chance, but I used to feel he never really wanted me to stay, he used to beg his ex to come back but it was not the same with me. Gaslighted myself into believing it will get better with time.

  5. He came to meet me again, this time I checked his phone and got to know he was already seeing someone for the last 1.5 years. I was shattered, he apologized several times and left. As far as I know, he got back with the girl and blocked me from everywhere.

Now, my question is, why is it not getting any better?

It has been one year, I'm a busy person myself, but I'm not able to feel the same for any other guy, my brain still needs an answer, what was my role in his life? He was yearning for his ex, while dating this girl and also cheated on her with me, but when caught, went back to her.

I know he is a shitty person, avoidant, but how can it be so easy for him to erase me from his memory?

I just want to know this, am I non-existent for him now?

TL;DR- Dated an avoidant, he cheated on me and went back to her and it's been one year and I'm still stuck. Was I that easy to forget? He hasn't unblocked me or looked back ever since the breakup happened, does that means he won't ever come back?
