Another Order Shipped!

Really happy with how these turned out. Starting listening to this group after shipping my first one. I’ve been missing out for years.

Flirty G?

This sub has over 229K weekly visitors. I'm looking for one that actually thinks Flirty G is funny. Am I blinded by my disdain for all things Gary? Have completely lost my sense of humor? Or it's just the dumbest reoccurring bit on the show?

My planned vinyl setup - open to suggestions on amplification

Fluance RT-85 - secured
Paradigm Monitor 7 towers - secured
Schitt Mani2 - planned
Fosi ZA3 - planned

Anyone have any suggestions for changing around the amps? LIke to keep it under $400.

I don't need bluetooth
I don't need a sub
I have to keep small, my shelf for the amps can't fit a normal sized phono receiver, and I don't want a new shelf

I do love the look of the retro, tube style amps like the AIYIMA T9 - I know the tubes don't add much, if anything, I like the aesthetic. That being said, I don't want to sacrifice amp quality for looks.

Questions about Ferrofluid in Paradigm Monitor 7s

I do have these questions buried in another thread, but I'm afraid they'll get missed and I need to make a decision today. I'm going to look at a set of Paradigm towers. From what I can tell, they're from the early 2000s which is prime for ferrofluid replacement.

Even if they sound fine today, is it safe to assume replacing the fluid is something I should plan on?

What would a shop charge? It's not something I'd be comfortable DIYing.

Is it easier\cheaper\possible to just replace the entire tweeter?

Used Paradigm Monitor 7s advice

Slowly building my system. Fluance RT85 is secured. Planning to match it with a Mani2 and Fozi ZA3. I was also planning on the Polk XT70s for speakers. Came across these on FBMP. Buying used without warranty is a concern, but these would be way cheaper than the Polks. Are Paradigms equal in quality? If so, is there anything I should ask about when buying used speakers?

R-28F for turntable?

Looking for tower speakers for my Fluance RT-85. Anyone use R-28Fs for listening to vinyl? Or are they mainly used for home theater? TIA

Pioneer Receiver for my RT-85?

I picked up at RT-85 and have been in decision paralysis trying to accommodate it. Lots of great recommendations on this sub keeps sending me down rabbit holes.

I have a Pioneer VSX-523 K AV receiver sitting in the basement doing nothing. If I pair that with a Mani 2, will I be doing the Fluance justice?

I haven’t picked out speakers yet, but I want to make sure this could drive a decent set of bookshelf or tower speakers.

If I should avoid AV receivers all together and look for 2.1 stereo receivers only, please school me.

Thanks!

Fluence RT-85 Setup Recommendations

Couldn't resist the RT-85 deal from AliExpress. Just got delivered in 2 days somehow. I've been researching preamps and speakers for a while and I've landed on

Presonus Eris E4.5 Speakers
Art DJPREII Preamp

Looks like it would be around $225 to pick those up. Room is medium sized. Any suggestions for a different preamp or speakers within that budget? I don't mind going a little more money if it gets me a lot more value. Thanks!

I'm currently researching vintage turntables. Not sure if I'm going to go that route or new. Are there any brands I should be looking for? Any brands I should avoid? I'd be grateful for any tips. I don't mind doing some minor refurbishing, as long as I can find a youtube video.
