The Battle for Blossomburgh
Hey fellow MB enjoyers! I'd like to share an epic battle that was fought in my campaign a couple of weeks ago. It really showcases how well the mass combat rules in MB work. Enjoy!

Made some chess pieces in Krita + Spine. Can you match each character to the corresponding chess piece?

What's your experience with that? How much have you invested and was it worth it?
Thank you very much for your advice!

Thank you all very much ♥️
Can't attach videos to this post unfortunately so please checkout the animation of myself that I've made here: https://mynerdyhobby.com/how-i-created-this-awesome-eye-catcher/
Interested in implementing something like this for your own blog? Drop a comment here or on my blog. I might make a tutorial series on that and want to find out what part interests you the most.
This means a lot to me - also lots of super helpful feedback!
Check out this guy's channel - he's set out on a mission to play and review games of small creators like us.
Might be obvious to everyone but it wasn't to me:
If the text in a box doesn't fit then scaling it down isn't the right solution. Looks weird af. Better to make it scrollable.
I'm excited to share my little puzzle game
Murder on the Chessboard
Playable Link: varzival.itch.io/chessboard
Platform: Web (also mobile friendly)
Free to Play Status: Prototype
Involvement: Solo dev
Chess meets Murder Mystery: find out who murdered the King on the chessboard! I'm always grateful for any feedback.
It can be played right on your mobile phone without downloading anything.
So no excuses!! Even if you are scrolling on the toilet, just click the link and let's goooo!
Last month, I posted about being the only game in a very obscure category: https://www.reddit.com/r/itchio/comments/1ti39iy/im_the_only_one/
Today, I tried to find my game in the itch.io listings but can't find it anymore. I didn't receive any message about being deindexed, quarantined, or similar. Also I haven't changed the tags, it's still the same.
Anyone knows what might have happened here?
Been thinking lately about some economic concepts that don't appear often in games but that are crucial for our real life capitalist economy. There might me great potential in games to explore that and I don't know many that do.
Debt & money as an infinite resource
Interest rate
Inflation (we all feel this one)
Overproduction crises
Economic Cycles
Degrowth
All in all I think there is a huge design space where games can try more to explain our actual economy.
Any games you know of that include some of these concepts well? Any other concepts that I've forgotten to list?
Does anyone know if there is a way to play Air Land and Sea digitally against the computer somewhere? Has anyone already made an algorithm for that? And would anyone also be interested in a digital version?
The only game made with PixiJS tagged with chess!
...yes it's a freaking narrow category but I'm still proud of being a special snowflake.
I'm developing a puzzle game that fuses Chess with Murder Mysteries. You can check out the prototype right now on itch: https://varzival.itch.io/chessboard
