Hey everyone, I recently got an IDX:50 from Blackstar and I really like the amp so far.

However, I've been struggling with getting the tone that I want from it, and I'm a bit disappointed that the community patches aren't as populated as I was hoping they would be. I am obsessed with Alice in Chains' Dirt right now and with the tones on that album. I am fully aware that Jerry used 3 amps for highs, lows and mids, not to mention double-tracking, plus the bogner amp being modified. What I actually struggle with is the sound of the amp being a bit muffled, as if there's something blocking it from sounding clear, even through the distortion. This might be because of me using it in 1W mode on perhaps 3/10 master volume at most, or it might be because I can't dial in the EQ and FX properly, that I don't know for sure :D What I do know is that switching from the A voice to the B voice in the architect software made a big difference, and so did using the 6L6 response, as opposed to the EL34 one that supposedly models what's in the JCM800.

I'm also interested about the CabRig software, because either the manuals don't explain it well or I don't know enough about IR and modelling amps. My main question regarding CabRig is: how do you actually use it? Can your amp's speaker be affected by it? I remember seeing a post on Reddit about it, but I lost it, it spoke about both the CabRig and the tone sounding soft and muffled. One guy I think mentioned that you can stick a dummy jack in the cabrig output and that'll allow you to play with cabRig, but I don't know if that means I can hear it on my amp's speaker or not. Is the only way of hearing the CabRig output either headphones/recording the output in a DAW or something?

Hi everyone, I recently got an ibanez jemjr, it's my first guitar with a fr-like trem. I got it set up at a luthier for drop c# but the bridge was a bit uneven, so I tried to re tune it myself. I noticed that whenever I do divebombs, the strings go flat. When I sightly pull, all go back up or even sharp, but the D string goes flat. Any ideas what could cause this? I stretched the hell out of the strings, I'm using elixir 10s and the springs are in a triangle shape at the back. I did check for locking tuner slippage and there seems to be none. Should I switch to beefier strings, perhaps combos? Thanks a lot.

Also, has anyone used a tremol-no on a jemjr? Are they worth it?

I'm really curious as I couldn't find anything that fits this spec. Cheers! Also this channel is a gold mine for AIC fans

Salutări fellow rockers, am o mică dilemă:)) vreau să mă scap de două pedale și de un amplificator și aș vrea să știu care e, in experiența voastră, cea mai ok platformă pentru vândut lucruri de genul? Am incercat sa vând una din pedale, foarte rar folosită (un EH small clone) pe vinted și mi am luat numai lowballs. Ideal ar fi un magazin care se ocupa cu sh-uri, dar nu știu dacă magazine gen Fly music se ocupă cu așa ceva.

Știe cineva unde pot repara o periuță oralb io 8? Bateria se descarcă după o singura utilizare și e foarte frustrant. O am de vreo 3 ani și are cel puțin 1.5 de când a început să pice bateria mai repede decât ar trebui.

Spare me the lecture about Oral-B și calitatea periuțelor lor, vă rog :)) Asta o am, asta am prins-o la reducere, bani să îmi iau o sonicare calumea nu am, deci dacă e mai ieftin să o repar pe asta, aș vrea să fac asta.
