I tried to transform my mineral collection into a 3d virtual museum

I've been building myself a small personal side project over the last few weeks.

I'm a rock and mineral collector and I always wanted to "expose" my findings in a personal museum.

So I created a small lightweight mobile web application: you simply make 1-2 shots with your smartphone and it will make a 360-degree interactive 3D model and then identify main geological features. The objects can be either hosted on a personal virtual shelf or exported into .STL to 3D-print them.

It was initially meant for personal use (the image it's in Italian though) but maybe there is a possibility of opening it up for others to try out if people think it's awesome.

Before spending additional time polishing the back-end I'd really appreciate getting some genuine feedback.

If you wanna try: geo.insightest.app (it's behind login just to save collections on the cloud)

I do it for myself, maybe someone else could find it interesting

Validating a business idea: AI tool that turns text prompts into playable and shareable mini-games (meme games?).

As I said in a previous post, I think a lot of the most played games ever are just super simple, shareable concepts. Everyone should be able to create, play, and share their own games without knowing anything about coding, deployment, or maintenance.

I wanted a way to go from a 1-sentence prompt to a playable WebGL game in seconds, with zero engine setup and zero deployment headache.

I developed a prototype and I'd like to validate the demand.

Since my GPU cluster budget is pretty tight right now, I’m running a quick live test to validate if people actually want this:

Drop your 1-sentence game prompt in the comments below and I'll share the result.

I’ll run the first 5 ideas through the engine and reply directly to your comment with the playable link.

CityFlow is a minimal browser-based public transport management

I've been working on a minimal browser-based public transport management game: city.superiorgames.eu (City Flow)

I wanted a clean and minimal-UI incremental management game where you build and manage transport lines, handle passenger flow and try to keep the city moving without going bankrupt. So topology, economy and satisfaction. Stations, people and, therefore, difficulty are seed-controlled and incremental.

I built this when I was travelling by train through Europe, wanting something straightforward to play right in the browser with no bloat. I would love some honest feedback on the pacing, balance, or any bottlenecks you find.

It should work properly on PC and with some refinements on mobile (it's not mobile-first)

AI disclosure: Claude was used for i18n and for infrastructure deployment.

Grazie a tutti!

Testing if my instant web game generator has a fit in the market. I have GPU capacity to deploy the first 5 games (rest go to waitlist)

I’ve loved game dev since I was 16, and I think a lot of the most played games ever are just super simple, shareable concepts. Everyone should be able to create, play, and share their own games without knowing anything about coding, deployment, or maintenance.

I wanted a way to go from a 1-sentence prompt to a playable WebGL game in seconds, with zero engine setup. That's the concept behind superiorgames.eu.

Since my GPU cluster budget is pretty tight right now, it can only generate games for the first 5 people to test the demand and validate the idea. However everyone after that will be added to the priority waitlist for the next rollout.

App that generates micro-games and instantly deploys them to a shareable link

The core concept is a web app where anyone can type a prompt and get a fully playable, browser-based micro-game deployed to a custom URL in 30 seconds (so both coding and deployment).

Not trying to build Elden Ring. It's aimed at casual UGC, viral memes, inside jokes for friend groups, and quick interactive content for social media.

The UX I thought about is based on instant creation + 1-click sharing (WhatsApp, TikTok, Reddit) with no code or hosting setups required.

I creates small games since 2017 on my website Superior Games, so I thought someone else, without coding expertise, would like to do that too.

The end of the "tester-seeker" posts has come

We've been pleased to see this community grow, with posts and contributions aimed at overcoming and supporting us along the long testing journey. However, content related to this has now become the majority, and support requests are drowning in the feed.

For this reason, it will no longer be possible to create ad-hoc posts to find testers.

HOWEVER, we will open a weekly megathread to request testers and contribute to testing other people's apps.

I was sick of developing "toilet-filler" mobile games, so I built the most high-logic puzzle suite I could

For years, I built the kind of hyper-casual mobile games you play for 30 seconds just to kill time, purely designed to spam ads. I'm done with that.

I've spent my recent time building Super Pips as a clean, minimal, daily puzzle suite (Pipcross, Bridges, Spark Chain, and more).

We are 150 players up to now, playing every day on the daily challenges, not big numbers but a small family.

Experimenting with trascendental maps

I'm trying to generate fractal with trascendental functions

# FORMULA np.exp(z**2)+np.log(c)

A minimal, plaintext shorthand DSL for writing fractals

I'm working on a minimal, line-oriented notation for representing fractals in plain text format.

I've been uploading sequences to the OEIS database many times. This prompted me to try with fractals which are normally represented either with large amounts of code or lossy images.

Together with some other guys from the OEIS forum, I made up a line-oriented minimal language to represent the "genetics" of any fractal structure. We called this language "Fracta". It is readable by humans and deterministic. The ENGINE keyword specifies what interpreter should be used to interpret the notation (L-systems, pixels, IFS).

This is a classic Heighway Dragon:

ENGINE L_SYSTEM
AXIOM FX
RULE X -> X+YF+
RULE Y -> -FX-Y
ANGLE 90
ITER 10
RENDER

All the aforementioned constructs are represented as vector paths at negligible processing expense. Maybe I just reinvented the wheel.

Since these programs are relatively short, I developed an MVP version of an online encyclopedia of fractals (OCGF). The backend analyzes the program, calculates its Hausdorff dimension, and performs an Intersection over Union (IoU) matrix test to detect any duplicates or "mathematical mimicry"

Playground & Documentation: https://vincenzomanto.github.io/Fracta/

The Python compiler source code is available in the related repository.

I don't know if it can actually work and how to handle different variants of fractals in a DB.
