I've tried like 5 different makeup looks at this point and they all come out looking the exact same. The first two pictures I took earlier today and the 3rd pic is a close up. At least for me it looks pretty obvious that I'm wearing a lot of makeup, but in the mirror and even in pic 2 it looks like barely any. Pic 4 was taken on a different day after following a "full beat" tutorial. It looks even more natural and the exact same as all my other attempts to get a heavy look. Pic 5 is a bad angle but I was trying to show like I am wearing a lot of makeup but for some reason it doesn't look like much. Pic 6 is the heaviest I've gotten my makeup to look, but it still looks light to a certain extent. Pic 7 I got my makeup professionally done by a well known K-pop group's MUA and I felt ridiculous. I know I have softer features but the Douyun/Asian look just didn't seem to work for me. How do I get that full beat glam look that I see influencers doing? Or just achieve the look of heavier makeup in general?

I'm trying to use makeup to emphasize my eyes but I've been having a hard time. I can't layer too much mascara or my lashes droop regardless of how much I curl them. I don't like falsies (same issue of drooping). I already wear eyeliner on my top lid and near my waterline. Would tightlining help? I want that siren look

ive been looking for a simple white tank and this one was decent but tbh i went to zara and found a better one for $10 cheaper. i thought this one was slightly too see through and the neckline wasn't as low as i was looking for and i had to yank it down an inch and a half in this pic lol. the sleeve area was also a big odd and i was looking for a more square neckline but the length is great

Buttons cover. Just used the video for background but it's completely muted. This is using my head voice because for some odd reason my chest voice is extremely bad and I can't hit a single note. Im a complete beginner so sorry if my terminology is wrong haha

I got bullied to oblivion in highschool and wore a mask for a solid 5 years because I was insecure. I graduated last year and I've never felt happier lol. It's weird because I get treated so much better and I'm still not used to it. I still see myself as how I looked in the first two pictures and it's so fascinating how such little time made all the change. In the most non-egotistical way ever a lot of people assume I grew up with pretty privilege which is most definitely not the case, and I get told I look like a snotty b***h hahahaha. I would say growing out the horrendous looking bangs and learning how to style my hair was the biggest thing that helped me. The funniest comment that I come across very often is that people are surprised I use Reddit because I don't "look like the type"...I'm still the same person inside with 130k karma I just look different 🫶

I posted on the regular makeup subreddit a few days ago but the people on there don't really understand the softer look. I'm learning how to draw my aegyosal better.

I've been experimenting with more westernized vs more asian makeup and I don't know which is a better fit. First pic I didn't have any lip products on. I switched over to the second style because I was dealing with bad oxidation. Since then, I've noticed my makeup lasts longer and I like how it looks after a longer period of time.
