Which is the best for newcomers and a single player experience?

Hello everyone,

The only VF I played was VF4 vanilla and I'm looking for a more modern VF that has a good single player experience.

So... My PS3 died...

Hey everyone, my PS3 officially died today and I cant decide if I want to replace it because most of the games I have for it I can play on my other consoles.

If I do replace it, it would be to trophy hunt the GoW games and maybe play the original demon souls.

Thoughts?

Feel free to leave some game suggestions ONLY on the PS3. I currently have a Series X, X ox 360, and PS5

I hate Fatal Frame II

I hate Fatal Frame II. I hate Fatal Frame II to where I have to own three copies of the Director's Cut on original Xbox. I hate Fatal Frame II so much that I have to own a super clean copy and the rare blue Xbox label. I hate Fatal Frame II so much that I needed to own three copies. And above all, I hate Fatal Frame II so much that I have to let everyone on Reddit know how much I hate Fatal Frame II

What makes Kenshi the Most Successful 3D era character?

By success, I mean Kenshi has been in every mainline MK game since his Deadly Alliance debut besides MK11. What makes Kenshi so successful? There's other 3D era characters like Frost, Nitara, and Li Mei that I wish were as successful but it's clear NRS doesn't know what to do with them.

What keeps Fatal Frame from being as big/successful as Resident Evil?

  1. It's unique to where you have to fight ghosts up close and personal.

  2. Games seem to be all cohesive considering it's following Japanese culture. Therefore you know what your getting.

  3. Fatal Frame 2 is the standalone entry that everyone can follow/jump into.

Seems like the Series is where you go to where you want a breath of fresh air, but still want to play a horror game. What is missing? Lol

Worth getting an OG Xbox if I have four other consoles?

Currently I have a PS5, Series X (with Dev Mode), Xbox 360, and PS3

I found a modded OG Xbox with the full library at a reasonable price, but the problem is that I think my other four consoles basically covers it. Also I'm worried about the picture quality. I don't wanted jagged lines.

After all these years, I FINALLY unlocked Frost!

Context: Used to play Deadly Alliance back in the days and never unlocked anyone due to not knowing what krypt Coffin unlocks who.

How can I tell if the game case is original?

Wanted to collector retro horror games and want to make sure I'm picking up original stuff in good condition.

Thoughts on blue labels? Does it ruin the value?

Title. Just wondering in case I ever have to sell my collection.

Decided to start collecting retro horror games! (Questions)

I am happy to have a physical copy of the Director's Cut of Fatal Frame 2, but I have some questions.

  1. Why does the Xbox label have a teal color to it? Is it because it's faded?

  2. Looks like it's a miss cut considering the box art doesn't cover the full box as seen in the last image.

Is the DLC worth it for these two games?

Diving into the Fatal Frame series and I'm in the works of competing Fatal Frame 2 Remake. I want to give Mask of the Lunar Eclipse a try but notice the dlc is $20 for just costumes? Lol.

Are some Spectre's bugged in the Fatal Frame 2 remake?

I'm really trying to get the Trio Under Tree Spectre (#240) but it's not showing up. I can however, get the diary that goes with the side story. Any thoughts?

Xbox users, what was it like not having the complete series back in the days?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking into Xbox's history and noticed the original Xbox has incomplete series and Fatal Frame is one of them. What was that like back in the days?

Did you went out and bought a PS2 or were you happy with what you have? What if you only had an Xbox back then?

Xbox users, what was it like having incomplete series back in the days?

Hello everyone,

I been diving into Xbox and even going as far as looking into its history. I noticed that the original Xbox although being a powerhouse, wouldn't get complete series like Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.

What was that like back in the days? Did you went out and bought a PS2 or were happy with what you already have? What was like when you could only own one console back then.

What was it like being interested in series that you didn't have all the games to?

Hell everyone,

I been diving into Xbox and even going as far as looking into its history. I noticed the original Xbox in particular has incomplete series as shown in my images. Xbox didn't have Silent Hill 3, Fatal Frame 3, and many more.

What was the experience back then? Did you guys want out and bought a PS2 or were you happy with what you have? What if you could only afford one console?

No console wars plz.

Why does the EU and JAP get the better box art?

I know Dino Crisis 3 is not well received, but go damn the EU and JAP box art makes me want to play it. IDK what they were thinking with the US box art.

Is it worth getting into Bayonetta if I can only play the first game?

Hello everyone,

I can play the first game on my PS5/Series X, but can't play the others because their exclusive to Nintendo. I want to play the other Bayonetta games, but I don't want to buy a whole new console just for two games. Thoughts?
