How are people finding Elegant Brutes and Frenzied Host?

I think we all love Spectacle of Slaughter and how good the Flawless Blades have become with it, but I'm curious if anyone's tried the Elegant Brutes and Frenzied Host and how they're finding them?

Carnival units

I've been working on a lot of my mortal Emperor's Children and I want to look at expanding to the daemons to make Carnival lists. But I want to try and figure out which ones to get and use to make a decent list. I know Daemonettes are pretty much always taken, but how are the Seekers, Fiends and Keeper of Secrets/Shalaxi?I want to try and find a nice mix of daemons and mortals to synergize together.

Do you think there will ever be a reason to take 10 Infractors or Tormentors instead of 5?

I'm looking at my models and it's struck me that I'm not sure if I should ever consider using a 10-man squad of Infractors or Tormentors in a game?

Encountering Players

I'm giving this game a try with the beta, and I'm curious about other players in this one. How many spawn into a match at a time, and how often do you come across them? Is this a "kill on sight" situation, or are people proving somewhat friendly like how Arc Raiders shows?

Has it been confirmed with the pricing yet?

I tried Googling it, and there are equal parts saying it will be free to play, and other parts saying it will cost similar to Arc Raiders and Marathon, around that $50ish mark. Do we know which is it?

Any preliminary thoughts on detachment choices for 11th?

The only restriction we seem to have is no Mercurial Host with Frenzied Host, but it's otherwise fair to choose. Do we think Coterie is still viable at 3DP even with the decrease in pledge point earnings? Or might we see it get shelved for other things?

Would the square ruins in Killzone Volkus be considered legal terrain for 40K tournaments or not?

I have one set from the Hivestorm box, and I've heard that you could get two to get a complete terrain set for WH40K tournament play. But I'm wondering if that includes the big square ruins, or are they left out?

Some people write backstories for their characters that can be almost award winning. Meanwhile, me writing a backstory:

Question about DL 2 and Beast

I own and have played DL1, but never got DL2 or DLB yet. I did some looking of the two online, and I want to make sure I corroborate things with people here who have played everything. DL2 is a sequel but it is its own story that's separate from DL1 and different characters, but DLB seems to be more like DL1.5 in that it continues Kyle Crane's story after DL1 and the DLC for that. So I can get DLB for now to continue Kyle Crane's story, and then get DL2 after that, right?

Advice for Upgrading

So I'm thinking of upgrading my PC. It started as a pre-built one, where it had an i5 12400F CPU, an 8GB RTX 4060 and 16GB RAM. I upgraded the RAM to 32GB some time ago, so that's done, but now I'm thinking of upgrading the GPU, and maybe the CPU, but I think the GPU is the weaker part of the two right now.

I'm possibly considering changing from the 4060 over to an AMD card, like the RX 9060, or I could stay in the nVidia family and maybe look for a 5060?

For the CPU, is there a direct enough upgrade that I can look at that won't involve a whole new motherboard?

Is the second game's story directly tied to the first game?

Is it a true sequel to the first game, story and setting? Or is it different with new Mechanicus and Necrons in a separate setting and story? I've not yet finished the first game and wanted to maybe finish it before I got the second game.

Is there a way to increase an item's armor or damage stat without replacing it entirely?

Like, say, sacrificing an item with more armor/toughness into an item you want to keep and it gains that better armor/toughness? I can't seem to find something like that, and I have some Uniques I want to keep if I can.

Aside from Neal Pizzini doing regular animations, which is fantastic, but other than that, animations just don't seem to pop up as regularly as they once did? There's been the odd one that someone's done and shared here on the subreddit, but it just seems not as regular anymore?
