just had a really bad episode and my cat helped me through it

idk where else to put this but i need to say it somewhere. last night things got so loud in my head and i was convinced the walls were bleeding and that my family were replaced by copies. i was shaking on the floor for like two hours. my cat came over and just sat on my chest and purred. she wouldnt leave. and somehow that stupid little motor sound broke through all the noise. it was the only real thing. i know this doesnt fix anything but for once i felt like something was grounding me. i just wanted to share because maybe someone else here has a pet that does the same.

my best friend of 10 years just told me she doesnt want to be my maid of honor anymore

so weve been inseparable since high school. she was the first person i called when i got engaged and she said yes to being my moh right away. now out of nowhere she texts me saying she cant do it because shes too stressed with work and her own life. i get that but she didnt even talk to me about it first. just a text. and now shes acting weird when i try to bring it up. i feel like i did something wrong but she wont tell me what. has anyone else had a friend bail this late in the planning? how do i even bring this up without making it worse

she painted me black after i set a boundary about her screaming at me in front of the kids

weve been together 6 years and i finally told her she cant yell at me like that anymore especially not in front of the kids. she went quiet for a day then today she texts me saying im the abusive one and shes done. now shes telling everyone im a narcissist and shes moving out with the kids. i feel like im losing my mind. i know this is classic bpd but it still hits like a truck. just needed to write it down somewhere people get it.
