Could I Proxy a Saturnine as a Telemom?

Could I Proxy a Saturnine as a Telemom?

I like the look of the Saturnine and it matches in size to the Telemon, my only concern is would the weapons be confusing for people? I imagine I could just say he has one of each of his big guns (cause I don't think the Saturnine kit comes with 2 of each weapon type sadly) but do you think people would look down upon that?

Who in starwars would be the Champion of each Chaos God

My choices are:

Khorne: Savage Opress

Nurgle: Jabba the Hutt

Slaanesh: Thrawn

Tzeentch: Palpatine

My reasoning for Thrawn is because he strives for perfection in her craft and Slaanesh is God of Excess and Perfectio

Hoping to get my First Win

I will have I think my 9th game this coming weekend and I am really hoping to get a win. My opponent will likely run Deathguard or Necrons with a possibility for Tau.

He really likes to run vehicles so he either will use a ton of drones in dg or a bunch of battlesuits for tau. In Necrons it is mostly just infantry and then the Ctan.

I only have around 3k total of Tsons and the only stuff not in this list is Magnus and 15 rubrics + some leaders.

I wanted to bring all my big hitters but figured it would be unwise to drop all my scoring units to bring in Magnus.

So I am fairly confident with this list, the only thing I am unsure of is I should put my Screamers as a 6 man or 2 3 mans.

How to not get Burnt out painting so much infantry

As the title says, I bought 2 assassins the combat patrol, an extra arbite box and kroyle, however I have currently only finished 20 arbites and the 3 assassins, the last 10 arbites have been quite a chore, it doesn't help that I got a new project waiting in the wings that I really want to get to. But I think I should finished the rest of the combat patrol, 1 priest and the agents.

So yeah my question is how do you not get burnt out painting so much infantry cause thats basically the majority of our army.

New color scheme to contrast my main scheme.

I went for a darker color scheme but kept the skin lighter. (Last photo for Comparison)

I am so so happy I was wrong

With today's reveal it confirms all the new models will 100% be supported going forward, i held off on buying any due to my skepticism but now I can finally start collecting those beautiful dreadnoughts. 9 dreadnought army coming up.

GW either doesn't know what Three means or doesn't know what New means.

Bro... are we joking right now?

NMM is the most frustrating thing I have encountered in this hobby.

So I have been practicing NMM occasionally on models before I then go over them with their main colors for a while now. I was really hoping to get it down by the time I started getting into knights so I decided to try it out on a Forgefiend I was working on given they share lots of similar trim.

As you can see my attempt was horrible. I understand the lighting on more trivial shapes (Squares Cylinders, Spheres and Triangles) but rounded trim has always eluded me, it doesn't fit any of those 4 shapes and if you try to apply the lighting techniques for any of them it will look off.

So I got rid of the 2nd highlights (it would be in the middle of all those long dark areas) cause I wanted to focus on getting the main highligh right, it never really clicked, I am not sure if I need the highlight spots to be brighter, wider, thinner or if their placement is just off.

I have already watched a ton of videos but I am still at a loss as none really cover these kinds of curved trims mostly just flat areas or swords.

Bit of a strange post but need help.

So I am currently brainstorming ideas for my first knight (a Destrier) and one of my first thoughts was brighter colors I often associate with infantry and footman from medieval times.

Now I am not a very good artist incase it wasn't obvious but I hope it comes across enough to be legible.

So what I need help with is

1, do these colors seem like they could work or does it seem like too much?

2, which of the 2 designs do you prefer? (I will probably remove the smaller symbols on the legs so 2 for the upper part and 4 for the lower and the symbols overall are a WIP).

I am also open for suggestions as I am currently at a loss. I am leaning more towards Freeblade/Custom House rather than one of the main ones.

So now that Kroyle is about a week away for those of us that pre ordered I am curious, for his Tox-Cycler rule does the damage/strength increase happen before you even roll to wound? It reads that way to me given its "If this model scored a hit" However, there is also "After this unit has shot" so I am just wondering if basically the first shot is 8S 4D or and we max our at round 2 or if we max out at round 3 (I know strength doesn't max out but if its the first case then it would be 16 max otherwise it would be 14)

As I expected they have a rule to counter the Hidddn rule, currently it is unknown if all detected js a +3" detection range (meaning 15 inch effective lone op) or if their will be variance.

This proves they are willing to have modifiers for detection ranges so I expect us to get something to increase it aswell, hopefully spotting increases it by like 12"

Finished up my Eversor and thus completing my RGB colored assassins (until I get the Culexus and it becomes the 4 base video game player colors aka yellow)

u/Vrain125 — 18 days ago

So when I started my Callidus I was trying to think how I wanted to do the bodysuit given it always seemed daunting, I then decided I kinda wanted them to all be different colors so I went and re-did the vindicare again. The Eversor will obviously be red and whenever I get a Culuxus it will probably be yellow. They arent perfect and I am still figuring out how to do lighting on shiny surfaces (other than metalics this is the first time I have worked with rubber/latex like material) but I am happy with them.

I waited to get these for a while cause everyone said that they had bad posing and I agree the box art is a bit stiff but it wasnt that hard getting them to bend over a little bit.

I have seen a few people running 4 man Sekhetar Robots but I just can't wrap my head around it, the 4+ to hit is just so rough for models that only have 1 shot with melta or 3 attacks with the claw. If they were 3+ I could understand but them being 4+ makes me wonder why anyone would ever take a 4 man.

Something I haven't seen many portray is having one of the Arbites be the dedicated K9 handler so I wanted to make sure to do that. Im not great at photos and probably never will be but hey it gets the point across.

So it is well know that one head of Kairos looks forward and one looks back, but my question is what is the length of time he cannot see between them. I would wager it cannot be more than a couple seconds otherwise he wouldn't be able to function, however we know it is substantial enough to be a weakness. So I guess the question is how long is the present.

An argument could be made it is a single instance of the smallest quantifiable measure of time, however it is stated that Kairos is weak in melee combat do to how fast it can be. Certainly 40k has some crazy feats but I highly doubt anyone can attack multiple times in a zeptosecond.

My guess is the blank space is around half a second long between the past and future, he would still be able to act but he would be weaker in melee anything that can change or be unpredictable in 0.5 seconds basically.

So yeah idk if this has more information somewhere but regardless let me know what you think.
