A bike has been abandoned on my property for close to two weeks; do I have any obligation that isn't "put it out with the trash this week"?

I found a bike abandoned on my property two weeks ago. It's just on the legal edge of "my property" and "alleyway owned by the city", but is technically on my property.

In my immediate area, I have two immediate neighbors, and three across the alley, but also more houses further down.

I texted both immediate neighbors. One said that he found the bike abandoned in the middle of the alley when leaving his house in the morning so he moved it to the side (onto my property). I posted a photo of the bike on Facebook to our neighborhood page (the 3 neighbors across the alley are all on the page). I received no other responses. I went out of town for a week and the bike is still there.

I have not:

Called any law enforcement (non emergency or otherwise)

Posted flyers

Asked the HOA Board to distribute an email indicating the misplaced bike.

I'm mid-move and want to remove the bike so that it isn't on the property when I begin listing my house. Can I chuck it? Do I have to call law enforcement first? How long can property be "abandoned" on my property before I can truly consider it abandoned and discard?

Do I understand Safe Harbor rule for income tax correctly?

Last year my AGI was less than $150,000 (married filing jointly) and I paid around $10,000 in federal income tax.

This year, my AGI may or may not exceed $150,000. My spouse and I are moving to a new home AND selling our existing home. For the sake of liquidity (for moving expenses / refurbishment, etc) I am trying to minimize our tax withholdings this year.

I am anticipating owing a total of $20-$40,000 in federal income tax this year. My plan is to hit the safe harbor limit, then foot the remainder in April using the proceeds from the sale of our existing home (which gives us ~8 months to sell / close).

My understanding is safe harbor to avoid late penalties is $10,000(ish) (ie my tax bill from 2025), since my AGI in 2025 was less than $150,000. Is this correct? Or is my safe harbor $11,000 IF my AGI exceeds $150,000 in 2026?

[GA][SFH] Selling home; what obligation do I have to disclose potential lawsuit against HOA?

I am selling my house. I have not listed it yet.

An individual has posted on the neighborhood Facebook page that they (he and another member) are "taking the HOA to court."

There's some additional background here, but as an observer, I believe it's accurate that he will attempt to file a lawsuit. I also believe it's accurate that the lawsuit is without merit and that the HOA and Board have complied to the fullest extent possible to the bylaws, covenants, and applicable Georgia laws.

At what point does "guy harping and being angry on Facebook and threatening to sue the HOA" become credible enough that it's something I would disclose during a sale?

Does Lost Vaults & Fated Leaders not come with 5th player pieces?

Filling out my backer survey and selecting between the screen-printed player pieces and fifth player miniatures, but can't understand why the fifth player minis are an option if they already came with the Lost Vaults & Fated Leaders... which makes me think it doesn't... but I'm not sure because why add a fifth player option without also including fifth player minis / pieces? And if it already includes fifth player pieces, why get a second set?

I do NOT have blighted reach (have ordered it as an add-on), so don't know if this is relevant.

Do I need to break into drywall to replace a shower handle?

Partner and I bought a house that had butylene piping. The first thing we did when we closed was have it entirely replaced. As a result, there's still open drywall in a few spots (see photo).

We haven't moved in yet (plumbing repairs and a utility company is currently building out fiber internet in the neighborhood so we'll just move when we can get that installed at the end of the month)

I kinda hate the shower faucet but it's not the most important thing to fix (probably about a dozen things above it in priority), but the next action on our list is "repair the drywall from the plumbing replacement", and if I will have to reopen the drywall in a few months to replace the shower faucet ANYWAYS, then I'd rather do it now before replacing drywall, but if it can be done without reopening drywall, I'll have my drywall guy out tomorrow.

(Toilets are all currently disconnected because of open drywall behind them so the drywall replacement is the critical path to reinstalling toilets -> refinishing the floors)

Your Shot in the Dark can now be kept after tribal; how does this change strategies?

Right now, you sacrifice your vote to grab your Shot in the Dark and then play it immediately after... but what if you didn't have to?

For instance, I sacrifice my vote and draw a SITD, but I don't have to play it the same tribal council and can take it out and bring it back to a later TC where I would also have my vote. I still won't know if it's "Safe" or "Not Safe" until I actually play it.

How does this change strategy? Do people try to secretly sacrifice their votes early (when they aren't at risk) to draw their SITD? Do you get alliance discussions on who will sacrifice their vote to draw their SITD? Do players try to be sneaky in drawing and holding it?

Wondering if this could be another layer to play around.

Issues:

You may have to have a finite number of "Safe" and "Not Safe" and may not be able to replenish between votes (to prevent too many "Safe" from being drawn), and this can change the math / calculus behind drawing your shot

If you continue to use the dice motif, players can show others their dice to prove they haven't drawn their shot yet, so it may not be able to be kept a secret for long.

Park passes / attractions during your child's 3rd birthday?

My family is planning to go to Disney for my toddler's third birthday. The plan is to go Disney World / Animal Kingdom two days before her birthday, Epcot the day before her birthday, and Magic Kingdom ON her birthday. We've encountered the following questions that we haven't been able to resolve:

  1. How do I manage passes / tickets for this? I know it's free for children under three, but my child will be two for the first two days and three on the third day. How do I buy passes for the family?

Note: My spouse called Disney with this exact question and was told "What matters for tickets is the age on the first day, so buy a three day pass for a child under 3." When she called back for clarification, someone else told her "She needs to buy a two day pass for a child under 3 and a one day pass for a child 3 or over"

So we've gotten competing and unclear answers from Disney. We'd, obviously, prefer the first option be true because it's a) cheaper and b) easier to buy tickets

Does anyone know for sure or have experience with this?

Leading to 2) my spouse is dead set that she wants to do Bibbity Bobbity Boutique for our toddler at Magic Kingdom on her birthday. Do we specifically need to prove a "child three or older pass" when we go/reserve? Asking since my concern if "age only matters on the first day of your trip" is true, we may still be unable to do the boutique without also paying for a three year old's pass. Does anyone have experience here?

Realistically I know they won't be, like, checking my toddler's birth certificate, but from an integrity perspective I don't want to do anything misleading and want to follow policy- I'm just unclear on what the best course is here

Finally hit 2500 straight days of playing puzzles on chess.com.

Other than puzzles, I don't play often (less than 800 online games), mostly blitz, and played a lot mostly between 10 PM and 3 AM rocking my newborn to sleep; it's funny because you can probably guess when she was born based on my rating XD
