Grey is the problem?

Grey market is the reason AD’s don’t have supply? Like Rolex didn’t produce over 1.2 million watches last year? Wouldn’t the grey market mark up issue not exist to begin with if Rolex AD didn’t play so many games?

Longines

Probably get flamed for this by some but I do not care lol. I have always liked the style that Longines puts out. Thought their watches were sharp and liked their conquest line specifically. Was in the market for a new blue dial watch that goes with dressy or casual.. so I went to the new Longines AD in my area with high hopes… to say it was disappointing is an understatement. The sales rep had hardly any knowledge of the specs on the models I asked about. And as soon as I tried on, I knew I’d made a mistake walking in. Talk about cheap feelin… the few I tired on felt so light and unfinished. The bracelet felt really cheap. In the price range they sit, there are so many better options.. tag, formex, even high end citizens I’ve worn felt better constructed.. thought it was kinda crazy it was so far off from what I expected. Went down the road to omega and found what I needed. Maybe my expectations were too high but I don’t really think so. It was like trying on watches at a Macy’s.

Longines vs omega vs tag

Looking for my next one.. definitely want blue dial, and sleek. Kind of an all around any day wear style watch. I already have a tag carrera this exact model, in black and love it. But trying to decided between the carrera, Longines, or omega in blue.. any suggestions or other models I haven’t looked at are welcomed.

Note- i am planning to also wear with brown leather strap

Caring about “hand watching” is goofy

Why does everyone get so bent out of shape about people wearing their watch baggy on their wrist? I find a little bit of hang is comfortable. I don’t want my watch choking my wrist to death. What’s the deal? And why does anyone care?

Rate and roast?

Current favorites from my small collection

Edit: really refreshing to see all the love for the tags.. was not expecting that! The carrera is my favorite and most worn.

Smartwatches are goofy

People say they are useful and I see them everywhere. I don’t understand the hype behind them. Isn’t your phone enough screen for you? They look goofy.
