Looking for trip reports from the Baltic states during summertime

Hey all! I’m planning a trip through Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia in late July/early August and although I’ve searched this sub, my search results haven’t brought up many posts specific to this region/season combination.

I’d love to see trip reports and capsule wardrobes from anyone who has traveled through the Baltics in summertime.
When Googling, the weather seems wildly inconsistent. Some sources say it can be sunny and in the upper 80s°F, while others say daytime highs are more like low 70s°F (21–23°C). I get chilled easily around daytime highs in the low 70s, especially if it's overcast, so that temp difference really changes how I pack. Originally I was planning mostly lightweight cottons and linens, but now I’m wondering if I should be thinking more in terms of merino layers and warmer outerwear.

I’ve also seen conflicting info about rain frequency, which will probably determine my footwear choices. Trying to decide whether I can get away with lighter sneakers/sandals or if I should prioritize water resistance.
I’ve posted in a few general travel subs already, but those discussions always end up focused on itineraries instead of packing 😅

Trip details:
10 days on the ground +2 travel days
2 days in Vilnius, Lithuania
2 days in Riga, Latvia
4–5 days exploring various cities in Estonia (north to south)
2 days in Jūrmala, Latvia
Current plan is 1–1.5 bag travel (carry-on roller + small backpack). (I could probably 1 bag it if i didn't HAVE to bring 3 pairs of shoes for my ridiculously problematic feet, also i want extra room to bring home souvenirs from this trip)

Would really appreciate any trip reports, packing lists, outfit formulas, footwear recommendations, or general advice from people who’ve done this region in summer.
Thanks so much y’all!

My trusty cup make and model is suddenly leaking? (New cup, not overflowing)

I've been using the Lena sensitive cup for many years. The specific cup i was most recently using broke so i got a new one and it was fine for the past 2 cycles but this time it is leaking. It's not leaking from being full but rather blood is coming out around it. It's not an excessive amount, more like consistent spotting (light to heavy) but enough to be uncomfortable and mess up my underwear. I have never had this issue before. Ive checked to see if it was pinched but it seems to be inserted properly each time.

Just wondering if there's a solution for this. Really don't wanna go back to trial and error trying different cups out if i don't have to. This has been my flawless holy grail for years.

Where do i start this process? 37f

Here's what i know/think i know. I was supposed to have braces to correct an underbite as a kid but my mom didn't want me to have braces bc of stupid aesthetic reasons. As an adult, I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I clench my teeth so terribly that they are cracking. I dream of masseter Botox for relief. A few years ago a dentist told me i clench because there's not room in my mouth for my tongue, and clenching is a subconscious way we try to make room. This got me thinking differently and i realized the tension in my jaw is from keeping my bottom jaw pulled back in order to have a normal but with my upper jaw. It is most comfortable and "normal" feeling if i let my jaw stick out forward more, creating an underbite. This has led me to believe my upper jaw is recessed. I have so much pain and tension from this that my throat even hurts, and of course i get tension migraines. Eating hurts and my teeth feel wrong after every meal.

I purchased orthodontist insurance this year assuming that's where i need to start (if i even need surgery at all), but I'm not sure if i start there or with a surgeon. I'm really anxious about this and scared of surgery which has caused me to let the year start to get away from me. I need to make a solid plan and make progress on this bc I'm miserable.

Will yall help me make a checklist?

Also: im scared of surgery and looking different. I like how i look. I'm scared of the complications and some of the results I've seen in women!

Help me pack for the Baltics in late July/early August

Hello! My trip is all booked, but I'm looking for help on how to pack. Usually i garner my inspo from r/heronebag (although I'm more of a 1.5 myself), but i literally couldn't find any packing lists or trip reports there.

Of course i know my own essentials and how to downsize toiletries etc, but I'm looking for advice on fabric types for this region, layering and what to expect weather-wise. Also, if there's any clothing that would be considered culturally in appropriate (for example, short skirts in Japan)

For those interested, here's my itinerary
2 nights in Vilnius
2 nights in Riga
3 nights in Tallinn
1 night in laheema forest
1 night in võru region for a smoke sauna ritual
2 nights in Jūrmala to rest before heading home

you know how when you're dehydrated your skin will get those "nap lines" type of marks from any kind of fabric or pressure on your skin? Thats been happening to me, and it takes a very long time for the marks to fade from my skin. Also the skin on my lips has been pretty dry. I cut alcohol out of my diet about 2 months ago. Don't smoke. At absolute minimum i drink 100 oz of water a day but it's usually 120. Sometimes i do drink more if im extra thirsty but i still don't think im flushing minerals. I also drink 16oz of black tea with honey which is a bit astringent and diuretic but not as much as coffee. I'm pretty sure I'm getting plenty of sodium, so i don't think I'm flushing it out. My skin has always been on the drier side, i have never ever dealt with acne even during puberty. But this is different. I'm currently weighing 140lbs which is about 20lbs heavier than i weighed 2 years ago. I gained 20 lbs in 2 years and have no idea how, but nothing has been flagged at the doctor. Only thing i can think of is i started going to physical therapy last year because im always getting hurt and spraining something, and my PT diagnosed me with hypermobility. But if something like that is affecting my skin i guess i would've expected to have been dealing with this years ago.

I'm not toooo worried about this, but it definitely is standing out as different and i just wanted to connect with some folks out there about it. I want to make sure im staying properly hydrated and wondering what i could be doing better. I'm making a lot of positive changes in my life so if i need to drink water differently, now's the time lol
