Simulation theory is one of the few theories that can’t really be proven wrong… or right
Like the more I think about it, the more the world starts feeling structured almost like a game.
Physics has fixed rules. Everything runs on patterns.
There are limits to what we can perceive and quantum mechanics straight up sounds like a developer patch note half the time . Then there’s stuff like déjà vu.
Moments where time feels off for a second.
Or when life gets so repetitive you feel like you’re stuck in some loop and yeah I know there are scientific explanations for most of this, but still. The simulation theory keeps sitting in the back of my mind.
What really messes with me is this part:
If humans someday become advanced enough to create fully realistic simulated worlds, then those simulations could eventually create simulations too.
At that point, simulated realities would probably outnumber the “original” reality by a ridiculous amount.
So statistically…
what are the chances we’re in the real one?
And the craziest part is that this theory can never really be fully proven right or wrong.
If we’re inside a simulation, any proof we find could just be part of the simulation itself.
And if we’re not, how would we ever completely prove that either?
I’m not saying I fully believe it.
But I can’t fully ignore it either.
TL;DR:
If civilizations can someday create perfectly realistic simulated worlds, then simulated realities could eventually outnumber real ones. Which means statistically, there’s a chance we’re inside one rn — and the scary part is we might never be able to prove or disprove it.
