Texas Instruments watch find.

Found this in a box of my dad’s old stuff that had been sitting in a hot/freezing attic for at least a decade. Old battery was left in it and a little corroded. Pulled them out and replaced them and it’s still working. It just needs a band. If you know a specific model number or have any other info to share about this watch I’d love to hear it!

What causes this? Am I an antenna?

Sorry if this has been answered a bunch but I can’t find any search results on google. When I tune it a certain way. I can get a bunch of static when it’s sitting on a table. But as soon as I get my hand close or pick it up, it gets clearer or finds a station that I don’t normally get. What is this?

Free jaw harp case DIY

I was looking to make a case for my harp. Since I have nearly zero woodworking skills and no patience I came up with this solution. Just a few layers of cut cardboard held together by wood glue and a rubber band. It’s not stupid if it works so we’ll see how it holds up long term.

Suppressed Glock 17 or NAA mini thought experiment!

This isn’t meant to be a serious question. Just a hypothetical that I’m interested in hearing feedback from .

I NEED a threaded barrel for the S&W Bodyguard 2.0!!

Please can someone make a 1/2x28 threaded barrel for the 2.0? I’d love to put a suppressor on it and pretend I’m a modern day James Bond.

Messing around with my gift shop jaw harp.

Very quiet harp but I still enjoy playing it when my other harp is too loud at night.

First switching layout after over a decade of loops.

Here is my first real attempt at a basic switching layout after spending my childhood with loops with one turnout. So far I’m pretty into it. This is also my first time trying Kato track and I’m pretty happy about it other than one of the turnouts not moving when using the manual switch. I plan on putting it on a board and doing some actual modeling. I would like to be able to get a turnaround integrated but can’t figure out exactly what I need. Any suggestions and tips would be greatly appreciated!!

I was gonna get a bodyguard 2.0 but I needed something in 9mm so this is what I came up with. Any IWB holster recommendations?
