I've a question about Nacho

I've a question about Nacho

Why wasn't Nacho buried beneath the meth lab with Lalo and Howard in the end of Better Call Saul? He only died a few episodes before them and when he died, Gus and Mike simply left his body while Hector kept shooting at him.

Leaving his body out in the desert could've been a red flag as someone discovering it would call the police to investigate. Shouldn't Gus and Mike have buried Nacho under the meth lab as well to cover up his death?

Uranus was discovered during the American Revolution while none of the founding fathers knew Neptune existed

Uranus (above) was discovered in March 1781, 2 years before the American Revolution ended in September, 1783.

Neptune (below) on the other hand was discovered in September, 1846, a decade after the last founding father James Madison died in June, 1836 at the age of 85.

This means that the founding fathers could've learned about Uranus while fighting for American independence but never knew about Neptune.

I love how they made Black Cat so muscular in the 90s animated series

I was watching Spider-Man TAS and couldn't help but notice how buff they made her to showcase her strength and skills in taking down villains, it really adds to her powers and abilities.

Could the Manhattan Clan defeat Spider-man's enemies from the 90s cartoon?

I've been watching Spider-man TAS shortly after finishing Gargoyles and I can't help but notice how both series take place in New York City during the 90s, so that got me thinking, if the Manhattan Clan were to assume Spider-man's role as the city's protector, which Spider-man rogues (specifically from the 90s cartoon) could they be able to defeat?

What if 2B and 9S swapped roles in route C?

If 9S was infected with the virus and was mercy killed by A2 while 2B was forced to watch, do you think 2B would've gone mad and go down a darker path of vengeance like 9S?

Could the Pines Family solve the Kira Case from Death Note?

(spoilers for Death Note and Gravity Falls)

For this rundown, Dipper, Mabel, Soos, Wendy, and Stan find out about the mysterious heart attacks going on in Japan caused by a serial killer who goes by the name Kira, and decide to investigate, assuming L's role as the detective.

This would be difficult because Stan said that he's banned from airports when he petitioned the government to remove July 13th (Soos' birthday) from the calendar. So their options would be to travel by boat or illegally sneak onto a plane to get to Japan.

Assuming they make it to Japan, Dipper would point out that all of Kira's victims are criminals who had their names and faces exposed, leading him to realize that Kira needs to know their identities and encourage everyone to keep a low profile. They could also realize that the first victims of Kira were killed in Light's home town, so they'd investigate that specific part of Japan.

The idea of a death note wouldn't seem to far fetched to the Pines family as they're already used to supernatural elements. Wendy has combat as seen in Into the Bunker and Weirdmageddon, while Mabel and Soos are known to think outside the box when it comes to solving problems.

Also, I don't think Light can kill Stanford because his real name is Stanley, so if Light wrote Stanford Pines in the death note, it theoretically shouldn't affect Stan (assuming this was before the author's reveal).

Could they succeed in defeating Light Yagami?

Which episode handled racism better, Troq or Sons of the Fathers?

Many people have made strong comparisons between Teen Titans s4 episode 6 "Troq" and Static Shock s1 episode 8 "Sons of the Fathers" for both tackling racism and discrimination.

In Troq, Starfire's discriminated by alien superhero Val-Yor, who shuns and ignores her, treats her terribly, and calls her a troq, which is a racial slur against Tamaraneans (Starfire's kind) meaning worthless garbage.

In Sons of the Fathers, Virgil (Static) asks Richie why they haven't hung out at his house and after some pressuring, Richie invites him over, only for Virgil to realize that Richie's father Sean was racist, saying "he's a bad influence, all his kind are".

I personally think Static Shock did it better because Sean being racist is foreshadowed by the fact that Richie never invited Virgil to his home and Sons of the Fathers is more personal and realistic. Troq on the other hand features actual aliens so they're gonna be biologically different from earthlings and Val-Yor only appears in 1 episode and is never seen again after that.

What if Mystery Inc swapped places with the Pines family from Gravity Falls?

For this rundown, Dipper, Mabel, Soos, Wendy, and Stan are placed in Crystal Cove while Shaggy, Scooby, Velma, Daphne, and Fred are placed in Gravity Falls, with each group assuming the other's role as the main characters while still keeping their skills and abilities.

Each group is tasked to take down the main enemies and solve the mysteries from Gravity Falls and Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc (2010). Which group could be able to succeed?

Analyzing Evil: Majora from Majora's Mask

Just watched The Vile Eye's essay on Demise and Ganondorf, and as a huge fan of the Zelda series, I would love to see him cover Majora. Most villains in the Legend of Zelda want to rule the world with an iron fist like Zant, Vaati, and Ghirahim. Majora however just wants to see the world burn and make everyone in Termina suffer just for the fun of it, making him the most pure evil villain in all of Zelda.

Body horror in Zelda

Spoilers for Tears of the Kingdom, Twilight Princess, and Majora's Mask

When I first saw the flashback of Zelda turning into a dragon in Tears of the Kingdom, I wasn't amazed or in awe of this scene; I felt a sense of dread because of how disturbing her transformation is and found it to be one of the most intense scenes in the entire game.

Just the thought of Zelda feeling her bones, muscles, and organs stretching and tearing and knowing she'll lose her consciousness brings chills. As I replayed some of the classic games for the first time in years after completing TOTK, I noticed that body horror plays a major motif throughout the series.

In Majora's Mask, every time Link puts on a mask of the deceased victims, you hear bones cracking and he screams in pure agony, almost like the mask itself is imbedding itself onto Link's face as his skin and bones shift into the creatures he becomes. Even the closeup of Zelda's eyes as she becomes a dragon are reminiscent of the eyes seen in the mask transformations as they convey so much pain and suffering.

And in Twilight Princess, it's revealed that Midna's the ruler of the Twilight realm in her flashback when Zant turned her into an imp, leaving her weakened and furious at his betrayal and her appearance, which mirrors Zelda's flashback since they're both princess of their kingdoms who underwent transformations.

Link turns into a wolf in the beginning of TP, which parallels Midna turning into an imp, as well as Link turning into a deku in the start of MM. The wolf transformation is also a lot more disturbing in the manga as we see horrific closeups of his body changing while Link screams out in pain in terrified expressions.

In a previous post I talked about how the first song the hero's shade teaches wolf Link is the song of healing which is the same melody the mask salesman taught MM Link when he turned into a deku to transform him back into a human.

Analyzing Evil: Majora's Mask

Majora's always been a terrifying villain for me. Most other villains in the Legend of Zelda series fight for power and want to rule the world with an iron fist such as Ganondorf, Ghirahim, Vaati, and Zant. Majora however wants none of that: he just wants to see the world burn. No tragic backstory, no redeeming qualities, nothing. He's just a pure evil psychopath who brings uses the moon to destroy all of Termina just for the fun of it.

What if Chuck met Lalo?

Lalo didn't appear in BCS until the end of s4, a whole season after Chuck committed suicide by lighting his house on fire. If Chuck didn't take his own life and encountered Lalo, would he have met the same fate as Howard?
