I'm not sure if anybody's attempted to build this before but I'm working on a throwable taser ball or electrifying ball for self-defense in an emergency
Basically it always starts expanded slightly about half a centimeter. And then when you go to throw it you squeeze it and then within a half a second of it unsqueezing it emits an electrifying current for a total of 5 seconds as it likely will impact the object or the target that you're trying to defend against, in about 500ms to 1s, something like that I'm trying to perfect it and the timing
The idea is not everyone knows how to fire a gun but people know how to throw a baseball
And then it only electrifies for about 5-10 seconds I don't know how long it would take to subdue an attacker, but not so long that it can't be retrieved easily, or hurts bystanders or non targets
If you accidentally squeeze it and you don't want to continue to trigger the electrocution, you disable that effect by turning one of the halves before letting it expand
it has an internal battery, so it can be charged with a standard 110, and it can be deployed many times on a charge. the internal battery charges the offensive circuitry when squeezed each time, and the twist discharges it
