I just realized when requiem was announced it had a release date. VERONICA was shown the same day as requiem a year later other than 2027 we don’t have a solid timeframe or month. Do you think it will release on spring or summer of 2027 ???

Play Asia listed RE 5 remaster physical coming to PS5 exactly 3 years ago. We are going into 2027 and released date is TBD. So now I ask is Play Asia reliable ???? People treat it as Gospel

I want to buy this version to go along with my GOT directors cut, but idk it looks like the game itself is just the regular disc I already own with the new modes and DLC printed on code. I really want it but can’t justify spending $70 for alternate cover. I think I might just buy the DLC off PSN it’s on sale currently for pre order $11.99 until October 1 then it will rise back up to $14.99. Internet connection and patch required for the DLC

I went ahead and bought it there, I had pre ordered in on CRUNCHYROLL store for $70 and I seen it at my local Walmart for $30 less. If you gonna get it Walmart.com also has it for that price it’s the best price anywhere currently and it just released today.

When trying to buy a PS5 console with disc drive or the separate detachable disc drive itself. It’s right under the picture a nice message warning you or nice enough to let you know about the 2028 cutoff date for discs on PS consoles. Good news is you can play all the games you already own on said consoles. Wow I’m glad we can at least have that.

He said making discs for big games like GTA 6 makes no sense and that if you’re connected who cares if you download it. He also said the idustry was heading that way and that 90% is digital currently. Finally he was “Astonished” I quote that GTA 6 made $1.4 Billion on pre orders alone since it opened.

So it’s clear that the ones voting with Wallet protesting are having zero impact on their financial target. They are exceeding expectations and breaking records regardless if people boycott or not due to physical, I’m one of the ones that really wanted GTA 6 on disc but it was never planned from what I see.

They let you know that soon in 2028 disc will be phased out, but you can still play your disc games you have bought prior to 2028. It seems like they care tryna cover their back from legal issues down the line. They can say they warned buyers.

They had an earning call and said for those fans that wanna hold on to something they will have the option to buy a code in a box in retailers. 💀💀 they said they spoke to retailers and that’s the solution. They will replaced discs going forward.

I prefer physical media but a lot of people are leaning towards convinience over having to drive to store and buy it there. You just need to chill at home and buy and download it to your console. You don’t even need to leave your house or switch out discs.

WWE 2K27 will be the official last release on physical disc maybe, I say that because they might jump on the digital only sooner than 2028. If they don’t then 2K27 will be the last disc release for WWE games on PS before we get either Code in a box or these game cards for retail. They did say they would continue having a retail presence.

If you’re patient they have a deeper sale in November and it drops to like $23 the past 2 years. If the pattern continues it can go lower if y’all want it at the lowest price. It’s probably going to be on sale last in December just like 2K25 until the next one comes out.

Well they were right about physical media fans being on the minority side as they can’t take a couple seconds to sign the petition. I know it won’t do much but at least number will show they care. This petition has been covered by all major gaming news sites and platforms like IGN, Gamespot and Comicbook.

This game is no where near release and unfortunately won’t be getting a physical disc release after Sony announced the news earlier today.
