Living with aspd is a nightmare.

If you really and truly have this disorder, starting with all the callous shit and conduct disorder in childhood, you are well and truly fucked and outcasted for life.

I’m a piece of shit human being deep down, but if or when people start to realise you’re just fucked. I didn’t ask for this shit. I faked autism for 11 years and my whole family is in ruins from that shit lie I told when I was 19 to doctors. My violent thoughts and urges have to be pure secretive otherwise I’m a twisted freak show.

Fuck this life and brain I was born to.

Forced thinking?

Hey. So I just learned about this whole forced thinking thing that comes with temporal lobe epilepsy. I’ve had TLE since a child and I’m wondering if all my intrusive violent thoughts and outbursts are actually to do with the TLE… I constantly have horrible violent thoughts and hear violent music and sounds etc. I’ve always thought I was just evil in some way, I dislike that I’ve always been like this. I just wish it would go away as it’s shameful and people would be scared of me :( please tell me I’m not alone and just evil

How common is epilepsy (temporal lobe) to go undiagnosed throughout childhood?

Did anyone have epilepsy/brain lesion throughout their childhood but go undiagnosed until late teens? If so how did it affect you and how are you now?

I was the boy who cried wolf regarding health issues. AMA

I had conduct disorder as a child. I told tales, was violent, destroyed property, hurt people etc. I was telling people something was wrong with my brain, no one believed me. I lied and said I was autistic. Even to doctors. A year later I was taken to a neurologist and diagnosed with a brain lesion and epilepsy from birth. I had to keep up the autism lie for years, it has destroyed mine and my whole families lives.

My lesson from this? Never tell lies even if the truth is daunting. My and my families life is in ruins from a lie.

Ask me anything in regards to advice etc.

Yeah lying about my health at 19 has ruined mine and everyone’s life in my family

Title says it all. I had a bad conduct disorder growing up. Undiagnosed seizures and brain damage all through childhood. Symptoms matched autism and I lied about it to doctors for an answer. A year later I was diagnosed with the truth which is a multi cystic lesion on temporal lobe and epilepsy from birth. I went undiagnosed until 20. I told the lie because no one believed I had seizures and a brain problem. The lie has ruined my life and my families. Take it from me, the truth is always easiest. No matter if people deny you. But I think to myself, what the fuck was I supposed to do eh? Idk ik it was dumb but I feel I had no choice. The lie spiralled and became 10 years of deception and fraud. I’m fucked in the head. Sorry for everything, don’t hate me goodbye

I faked a ‘tism diagnosis on the NHS when I was 19 years old. AMA

I faked a professional autism diagnosis with the NHS to a certain extreme when I was 19 years old.

Reasons: to fit in, habitually lying throughout childhood and to answer my speech problems which are now I know associated with epilepsy/brain lesion.

I committed fraud as a result and it ruined my entire life and my families.

What do I want from this? To show everyone just a disastrous telling lies is.
AMA.

Father’s Day …

Dad made it clear a week ago he’d rather see someone else (a woman) he’s not even close with on Father’s Day. He tried keeping it a secret and lied saying it was someone else blah blah. Now he’s guilting me saying “oh so you’re gonna take me out are you, do this are you?” The man’s never made an effort since him and my mother split up pushing 20 years ago. My sister lives up north and he’s not been up there once in 10-15 years etc. aitah for not making an effort? Don’t even feel like sending a card. He said just post a card through the letterbox lol like is that not just pointless or am I being heartless as he always calls me

Struggling every second, every day.

Is it normal to think everyone is thinking what you’re thinking? I have a brain lesion, epilepsy, autism kinda idk. I have this theory that everyone is thinking about me and has the same opinion of me as I think they do. Not in a delusional way, just I snap out of it after a little then goes back to it. My brain lesion has made me violent and reclusive all my life since I was a child. I carry so much shame and embarrassment over things I’ve done. Torture.

Working with my dad on a building site and for a joke he run a Stanley blade up my back. I was just shocked and didn’t make a big deal of it because a coworker who is a friend of his (and mine kinda) was there. But it genuinely hurt like fuck and probs bled but I played it off as a joke… why the fuck did he do that? Coulda been done for assault I swear. He did it for no reason during a lunch break. Wtf would you have done?

My brother is manipulating my mum.

My brother is pretending to be autistic so that my mum takes care of him, he’s committed benefit fraud as a result on her behalf. He has epilepsy and a brain lesion and uses it as an excuse to treat my mum like his carer. He doesn’t work and just leeches off of her and her boyfriend. Everyone can see it but her…. What can we do?

Sister lied about abuse

I don’t know which sub to post this in, it’s a deep subject and I want to know if there are any families who have experienced this type of breakdown.

I’m the brother and have two older sisters. My eldest sister lied about being abused by my mother and father when she was young to the police and schools/friends etc. she got my parents arrested and everything and went into care for no reason whatsoever. The whole family broke apart. Mum had a breakdown, dad drifted apart etc. everyone in our neighbourhood knew of the story and I was just wondering how common is this sort of thing? It was so messed up and I was just a kid at the time I didn’t even know what went on. Anyone had similar experiences?
