Index alignment: 12 looks off-centre and 3 looks off centre. Rest look okay.
Dial Printing: Text looks clean no misprints/mispellings.
Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good for double dates shown. Maybe a little high?
Hand Alignment: Usually not a problem.
Solid End Links (SELs): No issues. No major gaps.
Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/d, 300 amplitude, looks perfect.
Anything Else: Perhaps a RL based on the indexes although looks good to the naked eye.

I'm looking to buy another Omega rep. I currently have a Dandong 8800 VSF SMP300.
I'm looking to buy either a 38mm or 41mm Aqua Terra.
I want these to last a long time so I'm wondering am I best getting the 38mm with the Dandong 8800 movement or the 41mm with the ETA 2824 movement?

Just received my VSF OMEGA SMP300 from Steve and didn't realise the rubber strap was the standard buckle and not the Deployant Buckle strap.
Does anyone have a link for one on AliExpress? I have a spare VSF buckle so strap only would be okay.

You may remember I posted a few days ago asking for recommendations for a crown replacement for this case.
I tried a few crowns and cases but like the dimensions and shape of the Jin Ming Eyes on the stars case but felt the crown was a little big for my liking.
After a bit of trial and error I've found the perfect replacement.
The dimensions of the crown to fit the crown tube are 7mm crown with 4.4mm x 2.9mm for anyone wondering.
The replacement crown is 50% smaller (3mm thick vs 4.6mm) and I think it's a game changer.
Seven11Online on DhGate is recommended but they are unresponsive.
Is there anyone else people recommend?
What are people using to store tools and parts?

For £36.29, this Omega Aqua Terra FKM fluororubber strap from AliExpress was absolutely worth it. The difference compared to the standard silicone strap that comes with the U1 Aqua Terra is night and day.
The FKM material feels far more premium on the wrist, softer, sturdier, and overall much better quality. The deeper colour gives it a more authentic, higher-end look, and the added weight makes the whole watch feel more substantial.
The biggest upgrade is definitely the metal end links instead of the cheap plastic ones. Not something I noticed straight away with the original strap but as soon as I realized it was painted plastic I couldn't unsee it.
Omega logos in all the right places, the buckle included.
The buckle is the same quality if not the exact same one as the standard U1 buckle so if you already have that, save some money and get the strap without the buckle.
Overall, this strap genuinely elevates the watch and makes it feel far more expensive than it is. If you've got a U1 Aqua Terra and you're still using the stock silicone strap, this is a seriously worthwhile upgrade.
