Is Pristiq safe to take during pregnancy?

I’ve been taking it for a little over a year and honestly love it since it’s the only antidepressant that doesn’t give me horrible side affects and does the job
But now that I’m trying to get pregnant my doctor suggested we switch to Zoloft since he says it’s been tested to be safe during pregnancy but honestly I’m so nervous to change because I really don’t want any side affects to make me anxious right now

35F please rate me!

So I tried rating on a different sub (I was told it was harsh) and I was told I look older than 35 because of the grey hair (I had it since I was in college and I think it makes me look unique tbh that’s why I keep it) and because of hollowing my eyes and mouth and losing fat there, and because of my “mature conservative look”. I also got comments that I have a Disney witch/villain look because of my eyebrows and possibly the grey streak also 🤣

I am pretty confident and I’m comfortable with my looks, I just want to see which of these comments are actually true (in a more reasonable sub) and see if I can do something reasonable about it as someone who is approaching 40 or just accept it lol

I added photo 4 where the hollowing under my eyes looks the worst without makeup and bad sleep
6 and 7 are also without makeup
I don’t have any procedures done except Botox for wrinkle prevention, let me know if you have any suggestions also that aren’t drastic (like makeup, hair, style, filler, fat grafting, or non invasive procedures).

Thank you!

Does this mean my visa is ready and I should go pick it up? Or do I wait for an email?

I applied in US embassy Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My appointment was 30 July and I got this message 3rd of August. Does this mean I should go to the VSF office to pickup? Or is this just a notification to wait for the email

Edit: it’s a tourist visa

35F what area do you think I should focus on the most?

I weight train 3 times a week, that’s pretty much it…

I know I have saddlebags and I’m trying my best to get rid of them lol if you have any tips for those that would be great.

Porn should be banned everywhere

The cons are waaaaaaaaaaaaay more prominent than the pros. The pros are seriously not even close to justifying its legality anymore when compared to the damage it causes to both the people in the industry and to consumers

Has anyone’s cycle been a mess since TTC?

I don’t know if it’s just in my head, but I swear my cycles haven’t been this messy and irregular and hormones all over the place before TTC. We’ve been trying for almost a year now.

Before trying I didn’t use any birth control and my cycles were pretty standard, I would get pms symptoms a week before, nothing too crazy: normal cramping, sore boobs, bloating, constipation, mild cravings, maybe two days of feeling extra sensitive and irritable. My periods would be on time or 1-2 late, sometimes maybe 3-4 days late but nothing remarkable. My period would last 4-5 days.

After TTC? My goodness I started getting symptoms around ovulation which never happened before: high anxiety, sadness, acne, sore boobs, bloating, low energy, constipation… and then the pms would start like 2 weeks before my period and it would be SO SEVERE. Last cycle it was full blown depression and I had to take a week off work because it was hard to even get out of bed! Extreme sadness and I couldn’t stop crying and I even felt suicidal (sorry if this is triggering). My period would be 3-4 days late, but some cycles it would even be more late than that, last cycle it was 10 days late! My period is remarkably lighter, some periods it would literally only bleed one day and then 2 days of spotting.

I’m worried something is wrong? Is this just coincidental and it’s normal to have these changes as I grow older? (Im 35)

Has anyone else relied on alcohol because of trauma?

I’m sober around 9 months now and I know for a fact the reason for my alcoholism was to escape negative feelings because of traumatic events. After becoming sober I’ve been an emotional mess. Absolutely unstable and just a shit show of extremes. I really want to talk to someone who is going through the same because I’m just so tired.

Do you also have a high “need for cognition”?

So I learned this term today which is basically your intrinsic motivation and enjoyment of effortful mental activities. I searched about this because I’ve always felt like most of the people around me don’t enjoy debates or thinking about complex issues, and I’ve noticed that to me it is extremely appealing and fulfilling (specially when it relates to psychology, ethics, morals, values, philosophy, etc), but whenever I brought it up with people around me they always feel uncomfortable and want to avoid the discussion.

I don’t only enjoy them for the sake of having fun, I mostly enjoy them because they give me answers that I base my life decisions on, so it is extremely fulfilling for me. I also notice that people make decisions based on emotions or universal status quos, whereas I’m always questioning things and analyzing them on my own.

I just find this sometimes isolating because I have yet to form a close relationship with someone who has a high need for cognition that I can share these conversations with.

Does anyone understand Innersense products? Lol

My hair is super dry and I’m always giddy when I hear about strong hold products, so when I heard about Innersense and how strong the hold is, I ordered immediately. I started with “I create hold” and “I create curl memory” and I also ordered the shampoo and conditioner because what the hell.

I was so confused on how to use the products… they’re not a cream so I decided to use a cream before and with most creams I use it always clumps the cream and makes it so weird??? I then decided to try and use them alone and mix them together, it left my hair feeling extremely weird… like it was making it straight and not promoting the curl pattern.

I bought the cream (I obviously really wanted to like the brand) and I used it as a base and put “I create hold” on top and it seems like I’m getting somewhere… no clumping… but also I feel like I ended up adding too much of the “I create hold” because the cream doesn’t feel moisturizing enough so my hair ended up being too crusty 🤣

So I’m just here asking if anyone figured it out? I don’t want to waste any more product trying to find the best way to use this lol

Routine:
Wash 3 times a week using: OUAI Medium hair shampoo and conditioner, or Aussie miracle curls shampoo and conditioner, or Innersense hair bath and conditioner.

Serum: Eco chic frizz be gone Giovanni serum
Cream: Innersense quiet calm curl control or Miribel naturals dreamy hair cream
Gel: Eco style olive oil style gel or Innersense I create hold
