Provavelmente nas escolas, na disciplina de história, estão a dizer a estas crianças muçulmanas que o reino de Portugal foi construído sob a paz e a harmonia de inclusão, dizendo que eramos todos iguais, que não houve Reconquista e fundação da nação, sem conflitos entre cristãos e muçulmanos... para não magoar a religião desta gente.

I come to request, Breath of Fire IV a classic jRPG title developed by Capcom, originally released for the PS1, with iconic isometric 2D pixel art, gorgeous animations and a memorable soundtrack.

The game features colourful environments, detailed character sprites, and fluid animations that give life to and imaginary world. The music mixes calm melodies with dramatic battle themes, creating a strong fantasy atmosphere. In addition, the cutscenes make use of anime.

Aesthetics aside, the title is a traditional turn-based combat rpg, letting us choose attacks, spells, skills, and strategies each turn. Moreover, and perhaps the best mechanic is the unique combo system and character abilities that make battles more interesting.

Regarding the plot... I cannot give to much, because I don't know it myself. Games I intend to play, I always stray away from anything narrative related, to avoid any spoilers. However, as far as the main character goes, we play as Ryu, a young man who has lost his memories and has the power of a dragon. Along the journey, as the story unfolds, we make new friends and allies and recruit them to our team. in its essence, the game is about friendship, war, power, and finding out who we really are. We explore towns, fight monsters, learn new skills, and grow our characters.

In sum, this game is a fantasy driven adventure about a boy with dragon powers who learns about his past and faces a powerful enemy who is connected to him. This is the 4th instalment in the series, but works as a standalone title with no direct connection to the earlier games.

Why I want this game? And not Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Octopath Traveller or Chrono Trigger, etc.

It is a classic title, of a smaller franchise that can be played on the go without previous knowledge of it lore. My library lacks a single jRPG, which I have been meaning to scratch. Besides being a Capcom fan, I am starting to value videogames that feel nostalgic and brings more reading and and tactics into play.

The game is currently on sale wit ha price tag of 9,99€.

Epic games is destroying PC gaming.

Competition between Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC is totally justified... different consoles, different hardware, different brands.

Epic games on the other hand, is dividing games in a single ecosystem (PC), by claiming exclusivity rights in one platform.

They already pulled this stunt with "Alan Wake 2" by acting as publishers, moreover games like "World War Z", or "Kena: Bridge of Spirits" were originally a timed exclusive for Epic Games Store, upon launch.

"gen ATLAS" is the next game in line to suffer the same sad destiny.

Epic Games is acting as the publisher, dooming this title in its entirety to be a hostage of Epic Games.
