My dad went down the stairs and called my brother, vadu padukoni unadu ani cheppa.

I went down with full confidence saying, nenu unna gaaaaaa.
My dad looked at me like “edisav le.”
He told me: Dani ikada nunchi akkadiki jerupu chusdam
(assuming I can’t do that)
Yay I did it. He was lwk shocked

Then idaram kalisi leppam, Oka 2 steps ki he stopped and said
Opika saripovatle avatledhu naatho ani.
I looked at his weary face.
Shhhhh ill do this ani
Edaina I’ll take this up without troubling him anukoni
Step by step lift chestu okadane paiki techaaa. Trust me it was not easy for me.
I weight half the weight of the rice bag lol.
Ma daddy ala nilabadi chusthunnadu ekkadika chestha ani.
He thought I couldn’t do that.
But I did for him.

Adi kitchen lo pettaka, hyperventilate avuthuu i told him
Neekosam 100 kg lu enti edaina chestanuu.
He smiled at me.

Back in around 2013, my dad started a petrol bunk. It runs pretty well, but it’s never really been looked after properly because it was more of a side business for him. For years,he tried to balance things.
Now his health isn’t really allowing him to manage all things, so I need to step in and understand the business properly.
I really want to know the actual ground-level stuff, how to look at the accounts, deal with workers, check daily sales and stock, understand where the money is going, spot any discrepancies, and how to increase sales.

How pathetic it is to even imagine what had been running through their heads while riding the car on her.
I couldn’t even put an image in my head of what she must have gone through. Drunkenness is not even a justification for such an atrocious act.
Strange is that everyone seems to be talking about her studies, family, life but not a single wording about those sick minded men.

I couldn’t ven bring myself to offer my condolences. She was pursuing her MD in dermatology. I keep thinking about how she must have dreamt of a beautiful life ahead of her.
I send my deepest prayers for the family.
