what to look for in puer?

i got this gifted. im just starting to try out puer, and this was my first puer. im really enjoying it. it has an earthy taste, that kinda reminds me of matcha. a bit of a fishy smell. the package only says yunnan region, nothing more. its from a small local tea store here in my town. how do i know if its good quality? after research i think this is a ripe one, since the color of the drink is dark. it also stays dark at the 3rd steepings. (didnt have more than 3). sorry, i do not know much!

Why is telling women to cover up considered respectful abroad but sexist at home?

Whenever people talk about travelling to Muslim countries, the comments are full of people saying: *“Respect the culture. Cover your shoulders, knees, wear modest clothing.”* And almost everyone agrees with it.

But if someone said the exact same thing in Western countrles, people would (rightfully) say that women should be free to wear whatever they want and that telling women how to dress is sexist and controlling.

To me, forcing or expecting women to cover up because of religious or cultural rules is oppressive. I don’t understand why it’s suddenly treated differently just because it’s happening in another country.

What also bothers me is that “dressing modestly” usually means covering completely normal body parts like your arms, shoulders, chest, or knees. If we believe women shouldn’t have to cover them here, why is it suddenly seen as respectful when the expectation exists somewhere else?

If telling women to cover up is considered controlling or oppressive in our own societies, why does it suddenly become something we’re expected to support or encourage simply because it’s another country’s tradition?

Just to be clear, I’m not talking about countries where there are laws requiring certain clothing and you could get into very serious legal trouble. I’m talking about places where people recommend covering up out of respect for cultural or religious expectations.

chair for home office? short people friendly, comfy, and not crazy expensive

i’m looking for a chair for my home office that won’t destroy my back and neck after sitting for hours.

i’m only 155 cm (5’1”), so a lot of chairs seem way too big for me. ideally i’d like something that works well for shorter people, has good lumbar support, and is actually comfortable.

maybe with a footrest aswell

i don’t need a fancy $1000 chair, just something reasonably priced that is actually comfortable

serengeti or ngorongoro

hi! i’m planning a 2-day safari in tanzania in july.
i definitely want to see the serengeti, but i’m unsure whether it’s worth spending the second day in ngorongoro crater or if i should just stay in the serengeti for both days.

for those who have done both, how different do they feel? does ngorongoro offer something unique that makes it worth including on such a short trip, or would i get more out of spending both days in the serengeti?

where to stay in zanzibar

i’m trying to decide where to stay in zanzibar and would love some advice.

our itinerary looks like this:
arrive at zanzibar airport around 1 pm.
spend the first afternoon/evening in zanzibar (probably relaxing at the beach).
the next morning we’ll be picked up for a 2 day safari.
after the safari we return to zanzibar and stay there for the rest of the trip.

things we would like to do in zanzibar:
jozani forest
snorkeling
beaches
visit the old slave market / stone town

what’s important to me is:
nice beaches nearby, being within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, small shops, and places to buy snacks and drinks and not being completely dependent on taxis for every little thing

a place that feels lively enough to have things around, but not overcrowded with tourists

based on this, which area would you recommend staying in? before and after the safari

unmarried couple travelling to morocco

me and my bf would like to visit morocco but i have worries about if they will let us stay in the same room together bc of the laws in morocco.

i have moroccan roots and i have a moroccan first and last name. however, i was born and i live in europe and ofc have an european passport. my bf is completely european.

from a legal standpoint, i would be entering morocco as an european and show the hotel my passport, which is european. i don't hold moroccan nationality. so im a foreigner.

my concern is whether hotels might still deny that we share a room because of my moroccan name.
has anyone been in a similar situation? or will it be fine? maybe im just overthinking
