Idea: Resetting Story Progress

Basically, lets say you made some choices you didn't agree with (like, for example, siding with a faction on Iokath). This feature would allow you to start over from certain points in the story. For example, if you choose to start over at the beginning of the Fractured Alliance story, all your choices beyond that point will be wiped, though you will still keep any unlockables. I say this because in Onslaught, for Imperial Saboteurs the game doesn't tell you that the Light Side response to Krovos on targeting civilians also lets you keep your cover, so many pick the "Saboteur" option, which still leads to Krovos targeting civilian population centers, which causes Theron to be upset with you.

So, What Are Your Roleplay Reasons For Some Tech Origin Story + Combat Style Combos?

(posted this before, but thought the title was too aggressive in hindsight)

As a Smuggler main, I have a hard timing seeing any Combat Styles besides Gunslinger and Scoundrel (and to a lesser extent Mercenary and Powertech) making sense narratively with them, to be clear this is not about their weapon choices (I can see a Smuggler using a Rifle, Sniper, or Cannon), but rather their abilities, they lack the underworld feel of the Gunslinger and Scoundrel (and to a lesser extent Mercenary and Powertech). The reverse is also true (though obviously to a lesser extent for their fellow Underworld origin story the Hunter, especially if they don't become a Mandalorian). Which is a shame because I would love if it was possible to have an Agent with a Pistol and Vibroknife who uses corrosive attacks.

As always, this is just my opinion.

So, How Do You Justify Some Tech Origin + Combat Style Combos

Cause some of them don't really fit together in my opinion.

As a Smuggler main, I can't see any Combat Styles besides Gunslinger and Scoundrel making sense narratively with them. On the flip side, some of the abilities of a Gunslinger and/ or Scoundrel don't really fit non-Smuggler Origin Stories in a narrative sense either.

Annoyed You Have To Keep The Majority Of The Alliance In The Dark As A Saboteur

Like, seriously, I can see this causing problems down the line in the future. Like, how can you expect them to trust you if you don't trust them enough? And this is especially bad for Imperial players becoming Saboteurs, considering >!Aygo, who leaves because he thinks you are fighting for the Empire again and can't bring himself to fight against his former comrades, is replaced by someone who thinks you are still loyal to the Empire!<. And thus this is why I will always play Loyalist.

"So, you want me to pretend to continue to support the Empire/ Republic and lie to my people (The Alliance) about it, instead of letting me and The Alliance openly support the Republic/ Empire? No. Cause I know what happens, once you no longer have any use for me you throw me to the wolves and annex The Alliance by force, leaving me with very few people to rely on, since The Alliance would be rightfully pissed about being kept in the dark."

Some people say "The Imperium Of Man (from Warhammer 40K) isn't evil because it is necessary for humanity's survival", as if those two things are mutually exclusive. They aren't. Actions can both be logical and morally monstrous.

Like, forcing someone to procreate with someone else because their species is getting close to being extinct is certainly logical, but it is still monstrous.

EDIT: I'm talking about some 40K fans who see the Imperium Of Man as not evil at all. Obviously the creators designed them to be evil.

EDIT: And even then, some (including me) would argue that the Imperium's neccesity is the result of its own actions in the past.
