65" at 10ft size upgrade. Is 83" too much of a jump?

Title pretty much.

Mostly use for 4k content (series/movies). Itching for a size upgrade. Anyone make this jump from 65" to 83" at similar viewing distance? How did it go?

I'm worried 83" might be too much of a jump than expected, as I've seen multiple mentions that 65 to 77 is a 40% increase in screen size which is more than I would have guessed.

Am I only one who thinks she feels worse at every stage of the game?

I'm trying to understand the claim that she scales way harder. I'm finding she feels worse to play at every stage of the game including late.

If you are experienced on this champion and actually think she's good post rework, can you help me understand where I'm going wrong with my logic/perception?

Early game

  • Ganks are impossible unless enemies are inting (Q cd)
  • Have to accept wasted tempo every game crossing to other scuttle
  • Gold leads feels fake, she still loses many 1v1s with a substantial gold lead
    • This might be the first time I've ever experienced this on any champion.
  • Typical good fundamentals (fight with numbers / gold lead) do not compensate enough for how weak her early is
  • Her clear speed is just not good enough to compensate either
    • Lookup dpm for average clears, nobody is clearing at 2:35
  • Something must give. If she can't fight, can't have reasonable tempo, can't gank, can't clear fast to deny invades, then where is the agency?

Midgame

  • More playable lv9+ and 2 items+ but still feels at a noticeable disadvantage to most champs.
  • Almost feels like her scaling is "lagging" in the midgame even at reasonable number of stacks.
  • Her E is not threatening enough vs low HP targets compared to the risk required to get in range
  • Tempo just feels bad
    • Not only due to reduced form duration but also MS. Those 2 are double nerfs to midgame tempo
  • In general just too many things outside of one's control need to go well to survive midgame
    • Back to no agency

Lategame

  • Her primary lategame advantage comes from increased AS and doing full AA dmg right?
    • Which means she needs to build damage items to take advantage of this and less durability items.
    • But she's a melee character. She has to get into melee range of people to hit them, hence losing alot of HP in the process.
  • Those 2 things above feel very anti synergistic to me. Having very high DPS as a melee glass cannon that can be cc'd and exploded doesn't work well.
  • Hyperscalers like Kayle or Asol have long range, she doesn't.
  • Master yi, the other melee hyperscaler I can think of for a comparison
    • He has access to untargetability and damage reduction BOTH of which semi reset on takedowns
    • Belv damage reduction has 12s CD at max level and current builds tend to not have much AH
    • Heal through R is a self CC and often not easily accessible depending on position
  • Only in SUPER late game, level 16+ and 2 durability items, she feels strong.
    • First, that's irrelevant, not realistic to expect games to reach that point
    • Second, pre-rework belv was IMO still as effective at that stage of the game, so what's the point?

So, what am I missing?

What are the trade offs between P134H and Pulse?

If electricity type is not an issue (there is access to both 120/240v)

What are the trade offs when choosing between those 2 models?

Here are the only differences I'm aware of:

  1. Pulse: Single heating element at top instead of top+bot on p134
    • Slower heat up
    • Potentially hotter to the touch externally at the top
    • Does this cause any other meaningful difference aside from heating time?
  2. Pulse: smaller indoor cavity and overall size / weight
    • Potentially more portable / storage friendly
    • Less flexibility with cooking larger items
  3. Pulse about 20% cheaper (US)

I would appreciate your input on other differences between them; it would be of great help to make a better informed decision.

Many thanks.

Are there any HE switches that produce this sound profile?

I love the sound profile in this clip and I'm curious if any wooting owners managed to recreate something similar. If so, how did you do it? (switch, keycaps, other mods)

The keyboard in this video is mechanical not HE. Uses kailh cocoa switches.

Is my PCB cooked? 60HE phantom presses on specific key 'X'

Have my 60HE since Aug 24 with no issues until today.

X key specifically, non stop phantom presses even with switch removed.

Video above with tachyon mode off

Tachyon mode on reduces the actuation intensity and frequency; will still get frequent full actuations.

Tried different cable, power cycling, cleaning keyboard, moving it around, updated firmware etc

Analog monitor shows behavior I'm describing - permanent non stop spazzy full actuations in tachyon mode off, slow ramping lower intensity actuation in tachyon mode on with occasional less frequent full actuations. Sometimes issue goes away briefly for random amount of time (seconds/minutes) but only in tachyon mode on.

Why is comet showing many streams that torrentio isn't?

I'm a bit confused why comet is retrieving cached results, especially remuxes on RD, that torrentio isn't. I've seen this happen several times now. Why is that?

Does comet search across significantly more sources? If so, why isn't it more popular?

I was under the impression torrentio is extremely popular, thus I assumed if something is cached on RD it would most likely find it, especially 4k/remuxes, as long as it's not a very niche title.

I've been using only torrentio for a long time, only recently installed comet to experiment and explore other addons.

Are purple mattresses simply too good to be true?

I'm posting here out of desperation because I'm unsure what to think. I'm on my third purple mattress.

tldr;
Let me start with the positive by saying this: when the mattress is brand new, I definitely had the most comfortable sleep I've ever had. It really does feel great, and fits the mythical "both supportive enough AND pressure relieving enough" description that seems impossible.

With that out of the way, sadly this is where the positive ends. None of them remained that way. All of them eventually sag significantly at the hip area causing intense low back pain. I'm tall, underweight, and I'm sleeping alone on a king mattress which makes this seems very surprising.

Are they just designed to just last a couple years or am I extremely unlucky?

More details:

My first was a purple 4. By the end of the trial period I had low back pain and I returned it. Decided to try the purple 3. It felt supportive enough I decided to keep it.

At the 1.5 year mark, the mattress had noticeable deep sinkage at the hip area with any moderate weight applied.

At 3 year mark it became extreme; sleeping on side causes hip to sink deeply which causes unbearable low back pain to the point I started to sleep on my couch instead.

Eventually filed a warranty claim (to their credit it was very simple) and replaced it with restore plus. In less than 1 year, it started having similar issue. At 1.5 year mark, now it's becoming significant AGAIN.

I even replaced my bed frame/platform with an expensive one with no slats to rule that out as a cause.

All of them eventually sink WAY too much at the hip. It can't be my weight, I'm a tall underweight body.

I don't know what exactly is failing, whether it's the coils themselves at the hip area becoming weaker, or the grid. I think it's the coils.

Either way, I'm at the unbearable low back pain stage yet again. Now unsure whether to do another warranty claim or just give up on Purple entirely and move on.

How does your experience compare? Any other low other back pain sufferers had better luck than me?

Samsung bespoke ventless combo dryer compressor high pitch sound. Normal or replace?

I'm hoping others who own this machine can chime in.

Brand new machine (So has nothing to do with lint)

High pitch sound comes on midway through drying cycle.

Sound goes away and doesn't come back for a while if cycle is paused and resumed.

Tested empty load same thing.

It's not very loud, but the high pitch I can hear through closed room door it drives me insane.

Is this a "split jamb" door? Trying to figure out if doorstop is temporarily removable

Need ~ extra half inch clearance to move an appliance through the door. I can't tell if it's possible to remove the doorstop on either side. From what I could find online, doorstops are not removable (part of frame) if door is split jamb.

Any input appreciated, thank you.

Anyone owns both volt and gas ooni care to share their experience?

If anyone owns and uses both, I'd love to hear some feedback of differences in the final pizza.

If you blind taste test a pizza from both products, what would you notice?

Blackburn peach killer might be my new daily smoke

Very pleasant flavor.

I've been searching for a LONG time for a good peach flavor. Something to replace the old Nakhla mizo peach itch.

I've tried every single peach flavor from every brand (the ones available in the US). All of them are very different from what I'm looking for. I'm not even saying better or worse, just different. None of them replicate that specific peach taste from Nakhla.

A big % of of them replicate the same peach flavor from Alfakher, which I really dislike (some describe it as soapy). The others are usually some variation of a very sweet flavor more akin to candy which I also don't like.

Blackburn peach killer is the first one that comes close. It's still not the same, but it's the first one that tastes somewhat "similar" to Nakhla peach if that makes sense. It has that natural peach fruit taste to it.

The flavor is much fainter/lighter than I would like, but I've still enjoyed it quite a bit. The nicotine hit is also moderately strong enough to scratch that nicotine itch.

What's your favorite daily tobacco/flavor?

What's your favorite method/setup for packing blackburn?

tldr; trying to optimize getting most flavor out of blackburn. Looking for input from people familiar with this brand.

As a Nakhla peach enjoyer from the old days, I've been in search of a good peach flavor to replace it for many years now. Recently decided to give peach killer from blackburn a try. I never tried this brand before.

This flavor seems very promising. The scent of the tobacco out of the box was such a pleasant surprise, it's fucking amazing. It's definitely unique too. But whenever I smoke it, the flavor is very light and doesn't come through as strong as I'd like. Thoughts?

I tend to prefer denser packs and letting HMD touch tobacco when possible, but doesn't seem like a good idea with this tobacco. I only tried that once and it seemed heat sensitive. For now just sticking to cosmo + fluff ish pack, HMD not touching.

I want to experiment more with denser packs, but thought I'd ask around see how y'all like smoking blackburn. Cheers.

This is my first cosmo bowl. Was excited to see what the hype is about, especially since I've been mostly smoking dark leaf recently. Picked the "future predator" variant. Love the aesthetic too.

All sources I could find said they are made for use with HMDs. I saw few posts here about using it with lotus (1 or 3) that said they were a great fit.

Product descriptions in different sites say compatible with "standard HMDs".

Yet mine isn't.

It's just a teeny tiny bit smaller in diameter. Thus the HMD has the teeniest slightest wobble, but as a result it isn't secure. Basically it's very easy for the HMD to topple over with minimal force; like putting the lid on or off (Same thing for both lotus 1 and 3)

So did I just get really unlucky with a rare one that went past QC, or are these bowls a coinflip whether or not they will have good fit with HMDs cuz "they're hand made bro" ?
