What are your thoughts about Chinese people who work in Africa

In Ghana there is a stereotype about Ghanaians leaving to China to start a business. They're usually assumed to be very wealthy or intelligent. I wonder if the same holds for Chinese people in Africa.

What do you hate the most about working in tech

I'm asking Chinese people in China please.

I have two job offers, one in Canada and one in Macau of all places as a Network Engineer. The only benefit I'm currently seeing is the pay would be a bit better. There's no imperative for me to go to China and to be frank I'm very hesitant (which might be good enough reason to not go).

Night in the Library

Fun quest but at the end when the Sabbat dude reveals himself the voice actor and the dialogue sounds so unbelievably bad relative to the rest of the game. What happened? I'm not finished the game yet no spoilers please but the rest of the quest was good.

What would you do in my shoes (IS Tech Offer)

Hello,

I applied for the IS Tech occupation last year when I was still stuck in call center work and didn't see a way to advance my career. Since then however I was able to get a few IT certifications and found a helpdesk job for an American MSP. I currently make 55k/year.

I got an offer for the IS Tech occupation (w/o any recruiting allowance but that's okay) but I'm very conflicted as to whether I should accept this offer and be with the army for the next 4 years or if I should just bet on myself to find a better IT job within this 4 year period.

I've only been talking about financial compensation so maybe this is proof alone that the military is not for me because I wouldn't be joining for any greater or selfless reasons.

The only pro I can see is that I would touch every single facet of IT like server administration, cybersecurity, backup solutions rather than just answering tickets all day.
