hi any advice or tips for the careers interview right after the joa? just to lmk what to expect ty!!

hi so this is my third shift, today i arrived about 12 mins late due to public transport as i had an exam earlier so no i coulnt take the earlier service. when i got there i forgot to bring my apron and was wearing my regular long dark grey school pants similar to the maccas issued one. apparently i am not allowed to work in those, thats fine i understand right but my manager just told me to go home did not give me spare pants even though he was holding them in his hands and then when i was about to leave he called me over to ask for my email and i saw the webform said filenote on it?? i did some googling and apparently its an official warning. didnt argue with the manager like i was chill and he said i cant work in those long pants (my last shift i worked in those pants i have proof) and i didnt bring my apron (they have spares) and he told me to put my hair in a bun which i immediately did, and he still asked me to go home? are they really doing a filenote for forgetting my apron and being 12 mins late due to late public transport its my first time did he call me over to ask for my email for me to intentionally see whats on his screen out of spite like i think he was annoyed before i even arrived like straight up i wadnt rude i did not argue i was so chill and i js did as he said ie tied my hair up then he told me to go home then wrote me up???

Hi I’m 16 and live with my mum and her boyfriend. My parents are divorced, living with my dad isn’t an option, and I have no other family in Australia. no friends i could couch surf on.

There’s a history of my mum refusing to let me into the house at night, including around 11pm, and some other really bad stuff and I’ve had to call police before. She currently only really covers the basic household bills not food and has made it clear that I’m being kicked out the day I turn 18. Her bf is not helpful and I am scared of him.

I’ve basically exhausted the obvious avenues already, including my school, deputy principal and police, and nothing has really happened.

I’m currently balancing four jobs so I can save enough money to move out, while also juggling HSC and eventually go to university. I don’t think this is sustainable because I am aiming for a high atar like over 99 for a field ive wanted to do since i was 9 but i also gotta juggle jobs and I’m trying to plan before I actually become homeless.

What should I be doing now? any good investments? Are there NSW services that can help someone my age plan housing before turning 18, or support young people through uni? has anyone been in a homeless shelter and lmk how it is? any advice at all is appreciated ty

edit to reiterate i have already talked to my school my careers counsellor my deputy principal my principal the police etc they all cant rlly/didnt do anything and went to centrelink they js told me to look online and have not found legal services or legal aid advice helpful pls dont go tell me to just google it or ask chatgpt

also off topic question whats the minimum amount per day and week to live decently in sydney

hi guys does anyone think those jobs that u see on the kfc careers website for team member are just fake listings just to make it seem like theyre hiring but theyre not for whatever reasons like regulations or tax or whatever

im just asking bc ive applied over 50 times over the past 2 yrs and even after like over 10 interviews they were all unsuccessful except one time i got a phone call and they asked me to come for an interview and only that one was successful

i feel like the interviews went well like i didnt give bs answers and have previous experience eg worked front of house at a small restaurant, nominated for volunteer of the yr, barista, council role, many high distinction awards etc and still got rejected

is it only if u get a call to attend an interview that means they are actually hiring and if u just attend the sandy scheduled one and they didnt call u before the interview that its kind of just a fake one? same for like maccas ive applied online and enquired in person so many times and ive never been successful

btw for availability i ticked all days mon fri from 4 and sat sun full day
