Dante and Subhuman
This comes as both a surprise and genuine question ever since I played DMC, basically, where is subhuman coming from, in a good way because I love it
From DMC 1 to 4 Dante's main themes are frenetic, energetic, they're full of an energetic vibe which has always felt accurate to the character, love all of them, but then DMC 5 comes and just portrays Dante and is full of
**I. AM. HIM**
And I mean, he's him, the only reason he doesn't end encounters in 20 seconds is because he doesn't want to, but he really never seems to reflect said attitude on himself yet the song just goes hard about it
So yeah character wise where does it come from? Dante just having full embraced his demon side or...?
Why do people do NOT recommend starting with Zero?
Hello, anime only here
I started with Zero and a Fate friend was like okay with this but then when reading around see people always recommend starting with UBW and then Zero, or even putting Zero at the very end of the anime line
So curious, why Zero being the prequel and the start of all is recommended to be watched so late?
Question regarding speeds
Do I overtune more speed on sparkle, tune her down or tune more Archer to avoid this happening?
Or is this completely normal/natural/expected?
GENUINE QUESTION, why is Goku the face of power scaling?
Since I was little Goku has been the main one for people to compare and power scale to and that always was curious to me because he is not the strongest on his own verse, has always been shown several weaknesses like not being able to survive on space or even water, exhaustion is a real thing and having his own limits, even on super!
And has always been curious to me how people after Z loved to portray him as him being the strongest, as far as in the I think was 2000s?
Granting him godhood transformations and really wanting to make him the strongest ever when the character is, really never about being the strongest, just self improvement and love for the fight and surpass himself further and further, it's funny because being the strongest would private him from that goal and satisfaction, the lack of a new goal to aim and train to achieve
So really, where does it come from?
So, if you join a merc party, you should know the fight, right...?
So, since there isn't a lot to do around, joining merc parties for whatever content is one of the things I do the most, since gil gives me an excuse to do content, and one of the most commons is M4S, due to it being FRU unlock and BIS
Well I enter one for 2 mil, which for standards is high, and so we go in, aaaaand is a total disaster
DRK dies constantly on witch hunt due to being too close to first baiters(healers), GNB(And leader of the party) doesn't invulnv the tank buster and of all DNC who is the most lost, going to wrong positions all the time and specially on EE2 kill the party several times because of not knowing where to go(Having 3, they went to the square right below 2)
Now this is something that just happens... too much, which gets frustrating and for once really got in my nerves, but seriously, it takes 2 min to check WTFDIG or quickly refresh a guide while party fills
In the end after almost 50 min we didn't even get past cannon because tanks didn't stand up in front either and caster also were up front for... some reason
But yeah I should maybe chill a bit, smile
Where the hell is MCH low DMG coming from???
I'm not main MCH but it's been my pranged side job for default and to play semi casually or once geared in savage, aside from solo deep dungeons, but seriously where is his low performance coming from, genuinely
This thing shits battery now compared to EW, deploying queens left and right, overheat comes a lot and of course the non stop 600 gcd, and really excepted checkmate to at least make a difference but we all know how the numbers look at the end of the day
So yeah, what would MCH need to be fixed (aside from a complete rework) now, because I really don't know where is it(not) coming from
It was late and night we kept queueing into each other and at that point we really just were adapting and chuckling at each other I felt like, really wholesome moment
Yeah thanks for clarifying me how TRASH Aba is
Cool now how I am supposed to feel when I looser to a seemingly GUARANTEED FREE TICKET WIN
HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FEEL
I SUCK SO BAD HOLY FUCK I HAVE EVERYTHING IN MY FAVOR AND STILL LOOSE TO THIS THING HOW
OH WAIT I KNOW
I SUCK
Fuck Aba and gotta get gud but while at it
BROTHER BUY A ROUTER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD EVEN MY KILL GOT CANCELLED WTH
Is this a mech of Sin on it's own or just kara cancel shenanigans?
https://reddit.com/link/1u6fta7/video/c7crirfe1g7h1/player
I mean after a contination(in this case pale driver) sometimes I get to pull off a dash into tyrant rave, using 2 stamina of course on what I think is just happening a REALLY QUICK dash-cancel-tyrant
Just asking if this is a mech of Sin or is just a game kara cancel thing and how I can pull it more often in the case of both, sometimes it goes out and sometimes it doesn't
I'm glad people finally are seeing how good the story and these characters are
I hope this doesn't enter the territory of show discussion but it's not my intent and I don't really care about it
DMC to my view has always have had the conscious thought of
-Great games but eeeh story is there don't really think about it-
I'm just glad people are actually giving their thoughts and concerns and even trying to understand how this series ACTUALLY has something going on outside of being great games in terms of gameplays
There's so much to Dante as a character, being in media a prime example of -Cocky character who doesn't take it's fight seriously and focuses on having fun while he toys with his enemies- but that when looking into it you find a broken person who has lost everything more than once yet still, keeps up, smiles keeps joking and protects the few ones close to him to keep it that way, and ultimately with his depression (mainly theory) being one of my favorites
Dante is just, fantastic writing and character wise, and I'm just happy people are seeing that
Then we have Vergil who I could also write a whole bible about, a character who in the surface is just, power for the sake of it when he's just a broken kid who doesn't want to be hurt ever again and who ever wanted to be protected and taken care of
Regardless of whatever the show is doing I'm just glad people are putting their eyes more in these games writing and lore, and if haven't, please look around and give it a try because it is one my favorites ever and never felt it was this appreciated until recently
[Loved trope] "Man the author must thought about this a lot, the symbolism, the genius of it- nah they were just lazy
1- FMA
The cover art for volume 9 of the manga seemingly got a lot of love and appreciation, with interpretations like "They're looking forward to him" "Their fate rests on his shoulders"
Reality is Hiromu just found the general's face to be troublesome to draw/was too lazy for it
2- DBZ
One of the most iconic transformations ever, the SSJ has always shined because of its now yellow/golden hair and aura
The reason Akira chose said color is just so him his assistants could save time drawing and inking the hairs constantly
"Okay I get Mei, block the reckless dolphin and then punish her for it, block and- okay n- ok- well okay I just keep bl- okay i'll try to attack n- WHEN IS MY TURN TO PUNISH YOU
I'm a casual, don't play often but watch here and there some gameplays and yeah I'm NOT a good player but damn please someone enlight me when I can punish her just smashing TOTSUGEKI which sure I can block but chip damage catches up as well
