[Video] Anthony Gargiula and Jonathan Tilikin sing the original Sofia The First theme song (2013 series) with Ariel Winter herself

I think they sound great! And I find it amazing that after 14 years, Ariel's voice for Sofia sounds exactly the same πŸ’œπŸ©·

Do you think that Bartholomew Jr. was originally supposed to be Oatus Jr. /Baby Oatmeal Bear, do you think that name was for another jellycat that was never released?

If you dont know what I am talking about, last year; a while before Bart Jr was officially announced, some stores that sell Jellycats had a listing for a Jellycat with the name "Oatus Jr" or "Little/Baby Oatmeal Bear"

Considering Oatus Bear is just basically Bartholomew Bear but with a lighter coat, and Bartholomew Jr's fur color is identical to Oatus, it does make sense that the Bart Jr was originally going to be Oatus Jr but they changed it to eople are more familiar with Bart.

However, I am still curious about the "Baby Oatmeal Bear" and "Little Oatmeal Bear" thing. But what do y9u think?

If you technically grew up with 2 different SBSC eras, which is your favorite? Or which do you prefer?

As someone who was born in 2004, I grew up with both the 2003 version of Strawberry Shortcake, and the 2010s/Berry Bitty Adventures era. But if I had to choose one, the 2003 era was by far my favorite.

As Black girl, I don't like how 2010s whitewashed my girl Orange Blossom, also, I like Plum Pudding with her little glasses and I hate that 2010s Plum got rid of them.

And the characters in the 2003 era were so unique! 2010s just copied and paste and everyone basically had the same outfit just in different colors.

And as someone with ADHD, i hate that the 2010 series got rid of Ginger Snap, who i headcanon to have ADHD.

However, I will admit something i still like about 2010s Strawberry: Sweet Grapes is my favorite character. I just think she is such an adorable sweetie with her glasses and pastel color schemes

Okay is my memory playing tricks on me, or wasn't there an episode of Sesame Street where Little Miss Prarie Dawn was Goldilocks?

I have a vague memory of this but yet I am almost 100% fully certain it exists but i just can't find it.

I can't remember all the details, but I believe it was that Prairie Dawn was directing a play about Goldilocks and she was also Goldilocks. I can't remember if Baby Bear and his family were actually the Three Bears for this play, I judt remember Little Miss Prairie Dawn as Goldilocks, as i can hear her voice saying "this bowl of porridge is TOO HOT! This bowl of porridge is TOO COLD! Now, this bowl of porridge is JUUUST RIGHT!"

Can someone please either confirm or deny that this scene or episode exist. I tried looking online but I keep coming up empty handed. Thank youπŸ’šπŸ’›

Don't get me wrong: the original 80s Strawberry Shortcake era is adorable and a timeless classic,I'm glad a new generation is getting to fall in love with her, but I would love to see new merch for the 2003/2007 era of Strawberry

This era was so cute and whimsical and would be perfect to back, especially in a world where people are nostalgic for the 2000s and Y2K style has made a comeback. Especially the cowgirl Strawberry Shortcake, with the popularity of Chappell Roan and the pink cowgirl aesthetic.

I just would love to go to my local Five Below or Walmart and find new 2003 Strawberry Shortcake merch. Even if it's just the adorable iconic scented stickers.

I just feel like 2003 Strawberry needs more love. β€οΈπŸ©·πŸ’š

Here are some of my favorite content creators that I follow online whom I consider to be whimsical. Who are yours? [Crosspost]

  1. Mychal Threets, aka Mychal the Librarian. Legitimately one of the most wholesome people on the internet with some of the coolest shirts, encouraging people to support their local libraries and read more books, and he also encourages mental health, especially after being diagnosed with AuDHD. He is also now the host of the modern YouTube revival of the beloved classic PBS series "Reading Rainbow", which has recently been renewed for 24 new episodes.

  2. David Larbi: an African-British man who encourages finding the joy and happiness in the little things. He makes videos of seemingly mundane things like getting a haircut or walking in the rain or breakfast, but makes charming poems about how it sparks joy.

  3. Alexis Nikole Nelson, Aka The Black Forager: when I tell you I LOVE this woman! Her little "one of these is poison and one is a snack!" jingle gets stuck in my head frequently. I just love learning about different plants from her. She makes it fun and playful.

  4. Sachiko Moore (sachikofairy): A sweet Japanese-American young lady who is living in Japan, she is like if a fairy made a wish to be human. But she is also like a real life Studio Ghibli character. She encourages her viewers to embrace a gentle, slow pace life, indulge in things that makes your inner child happy (she is also a huge lover of the classic Barbie movies) like wearing a tiara for no reason, or picking flowers to make yourself a pretty bouquet for your bedroom or living room, wearing a pretty dress just to go to the market to buy groceries, etc. She is just a delight.

What about you? Do you have any favorite whimsy-based content creators? I'd love to discover more. πŸ’œ

New Fairy Garden collection with BumBumz featuring Tinkerbell Pochacco

I'm not hating, this is adorable. I love the whole fairy/butterfly whimsical aesthetic Hello Kitty and Friends have been doing lately.

My teddy bear Greyson before vs after a good brushing

My cuddle buddy Greyson was long overdue for a proper brushing, so this evening, whilst watching TV, I gave him a good long brushing.

I started with my wire bristle pet brush to get out any fuzzies and dust and other debris (that's actually how I clean him- due to this type of fur, I'm scared to get him wet). The pet brush also helps get rid of the mattes in his fur and fluff him up.

Then I got my boar bristle hairbrush to smooth out his fur.

I know the before and after pictures don't look drastically different, but that's not the point of me brushing him. (And that's honestly not the point of Greyson himself. He's not meant to look perfect, and that's what's perfect about him.)It's mainly just to clean him and make him soft and fluffy feeling again! 😊

Greyson says Hello and he hopes you are having a good day/evening!πŸ§ΈπŸ’œ

Who is your favorite adventure friend (s)

We all have that one Jellycat we seem to take along with us when we go out. And mine has started to be Blossom (my medium Leola Bear).

I still take Cookie with me sometimes if I am going out by myself. But if I can only take one of them, it it usually Blossom. Maybe because she's newer and I am afraid of ruining Cookie's fur more. But Blossom has been a great adventure companion to have.

Who's your favorite adventure Jelly?

So... do we think the "A Crown of Wishes" series with Avantika Vandanapu got scrapped?

If you don't know what i am referring to, back in 2022, it was announced that the fantasy novel/series A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi was being adapted into a Disney+ original series, with Avantika ("Karen" from the 2025 Mean Girls musical film) starring as Princess Gauri, the main character. (I believe she was also listed as a producer or writer of the show as well.)

However, in 2026, no updates for the show has been made. All news were just articles from the initial announcement in 2022. I know that it takes a long time to film a show, but still, there are usually updates as to when filming has started and who the other cast members are, but with Crown of Wishes, it's been nothing but radio silence and crickets.

I hope this series isn't cancelled. I was really looking forward to this show.

Scientists have recently discovered a new type of fish, and they have named it "Solenostemus Snuffleupagus", in honor of Mr. Snuffleupagus, due to the creature bearing resemblance to the beloved Sesame Street character

Also known by the simpler name "hairy ghostpipe fish", but I like calling it the Snuffy Fish.

Personal Opinion: I think the Chipettes should have had their own movie in the Live Action franchise centered on them

Okay yes, technically the second movie was considered their movie, as it served as the introduction to them. But that was still just a movie about The Chipmunks thar features The Chipettes.

I am saying, Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette deserved to be the stars of their own movie that's strictly all about them.

In fact, I would love it if they had gotten their own series of spin off films about them.

Where does that "Hello-oh! I'm CAPPUCCIIII-NOO! sound/meme come from?

Like, was it a television show or a live stage show, or what?

If you don't know what i am referring to, there was this clip that went viral on TikTok, like 2 or 3 years ago, it was just Cappuccino saying "Helloo-oh! I'm Cappuchiii-noo!" In like a cute and silly voice, and it essentially became a whole entire meme.

It was live action, but like, the characters were like the mascots you would see at Sanrio PuroLand.

If anyone knows what im referring and knows where that soundclip was from, I'd love to have more info. Because that has become a vocal stim for me for like, 2 yrs at this point

β–² 62 r/Bratz

Quick question: can anyone confirm exactly how true these leaked descriptions are for the upcoming Sanrio Bratz dolls?

I first found this posted in a Bratz Facebook group, and I'm skeptical for two reasons: 1. I thought all the Sanrio x Bratz dolls were gonna be just Hello Kitty, not any of the other characters.

And 2. and this is the biggest reason why I'm skeptical: it refers to Kuromi as a cat. Kuromi is not a cat. She is a bunny.

I'm not against a Kuromi or PomPomPurin Bratz, I am just skeptical of just how true this "leak" is. So if anyone can confirm or debunk it's validity for me, I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you in advance!πŸ’œ
