I love these designs so much not because of how well done they are, but it also shows that the artists really did watch the show as there are many references to several episodes shown throughout, some more prevalent and obscure than others, and it also adds an extra layer of humor for those who take time to observe all the details.

I always want to go to sleep when I can’t! Tell me, why is it whenever I have to go to sleep, my bed feels like a fucking rock, but when I have to get up to go to work/class it’s suddenly super cozy and I never want to leave? I’m tossing and turning, asmr on after a melatonin tab but I still can’t catch any Z’s!

Timothy from the 2012 iteration of the Ninja Turtles suffered one of if not the most horrific mutations in the series. In an attempt to save the turtles from dogpound, he covers himself in mutagen thinking it’ll turn him into a hero, despite everybody’s warnings of the dangers of mutating, unfortunately he would turn into the mutagen man, a feral blob who lost all of his humanity.
