Should I finish the manga ?

I used to read this manga in 2024, and I thought it was amazing, until the modern arc because I was so confused >!when everyone went back to life!<... I felt like it was so repetitive and made everything up to this point kind of pointless....

That's when I dropped it. I currently have every book until the 20th. My friend told me she's about to watch frieren, so it made me think about this manga, and I wonder if it's worth a reread to eventually finish it ?

Does the modern arc eventually get better, and do these issues get solved later on ? (Is the ending satisfying too?)

What power would you choose ?

Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: Power of friendship | You can turn any bad person good by giving them an inspirational speech.
  • Right side: Plot Armor | No one can harm you physically, nor kill you.

What is your opinion on the Odyssey movie being shot for Imax 70mm ?

For those of you who don't know, his movie has been shot for Imax, meaning that most people will only see about 60% of the actual footage... But there aren't many movie theaters able to project movies in IMAX... For instance, there are only 4 movie rooms in the whole of Europe where you can actually see the movie as Nolan intended, and it's more expensive.

Story of a encounter that changed my life.

It was a few years ago, when I was still questioning my sexuality. There was a big sport event in Paris, and that's when I first saw him. A complete stranger, I don't know anything about him, except that he was speaking Spanish.

It was so fascinating to me because it was the first time I was attracted to a boy, and I kept looking at him the whole time. I swear, I think i was looking at him more than I was looking at the match lmaoo, as he was sitting a few rows ahead of me.

The next day, he wasn't there. And I've never seen him again. But he truly changed my life forever. I now know I'm bisexual because of him. And I recently realised something. Most (if not all) of my crushes after him really look like him. It's like I'm looking for his features in other people, even years later.

I think it's quite bittersweet to know that he'll never ever know about me, and I won't ever find him. But as long as I'm alive, he'll be remembered and loved.

It's quite interesting to think how you could have changed someone's life without ever knowing it...

I truly think nobody can forget their gay awakening, lmaoo...

With the constant looking for his features and the fact that I can't forget him, even after years, I still think about him from times to times... I can't help but think maybe we were made for each other (although I know I don't actually know anything about him lmaoo)

Hating on your friends interests.

I always hate on my friends interests but I don't know why.

This is exactly what the title is about : I always find myself hating on my friends interests, even when I want to be a great friend. It's mostly about TV shows, anime, etc... Whenever they become too passionate about a show I haven't watched yet (and don't plan to watch), I can't help but find myself hating on it.

At first, I try to hide it. Then i'm making small remarks. And finally I clearly show that I don't like it.

It's a constant issue for me since it made one of my past friendships really toxic back in 2021. And now it's happening again, but I don't want to ruin this friendship that means everything to me.

I know it's probably weird, because I should just ignore it/be interested in what my friends like, but I just can't...

Is everyone that way ? Or do you actually like it when people yap about shows that you haven't watched ?

I've been struggling with guilt and self sabotage for a while now, and I was getting better. But I'm a bit since this part of myself seems to be back... I don't want to be a bad friend/person...

What can I do ?

How much are your values important to you...?

Imagine if a genie appeared and proposed a deal to you.

If you accept the deal, every single human will instantly agree more or less with your current values pre-deal, making society basically overall match what you currently think would be great (when it comes to politics). However, if you do accept the deal, YOUR opinion will change, and you will now have political opinions opposite to what you've made the world become, and no one can ever change your mind.

Would you accept the deal ? Do you think your values and political opinions are worth it, if you end up not being happy with it, knowing that your pre-deal self would be very satisfied with this new society...?
