I had several issues with mold in my apartment that after 7 months my agency decided to fix. It probably costed them a lot because it was due to a water leakage. Now, I requested a rent reduction for all the months I lived in the apartment with mold + the several weeks they had to work on the walls while I was still living there (living situation was a disaster, couldn't even access my kitchen and there was cement + dust everywhere). Since my contract is renewable each year how likely is that they evict me? Knowing that a) I didn't cause the problem b) that it could be seen in bath faith as I'm asking for a rent reduction.

I've heard there are some things you can do for free the day of your birthday like cable cars, boat cruises and spas, but I've seen a lot of them are mostly in the german part.

Any ideas of what you can actually do in Vaud?

I’m looking for study rooms/libraries (maybe at the university as well) where silence is not required (like group study spots). I’m not a student in Bern but rather Lausanne so I have no idea where to find them. Thanks!!

I needed to get an allergy assessment but the closest date I can get anywhere is November... paying 400 CHF/month + the first 2.5k doesn't seem to match the availability of the services...

I think in most countries with a public health system (not the UK though), I'd get a faster appointment... it's nothing but disappointment with the swiss health system.

Same thing happened to me a year ago with the gynecologist, no one was taking patients, and the closest I could get an appointment was 4 months afterwards. Had to go to emergencies at CHUV and ended up waiting 8 hours in the waiting room...

I don't find Spotify particularly useful... I end up manually checking.
