Unfortunately I bought the lifetime subscription just to realize a few months later that a great portion of the content they offered disappeared from one day to the next. They removed ALL TV shows and left only short videos and pretty bad quality ones (they seem like home-made videos). After this I find no use in practicing with Lingopie anymore, since the content itself is not worth watching. The only suggestion they gave me was to buy a VPN subscription on top of what I already paid to be able to access the previous content. Apparently they renewed licenses only for the USA and left all the remaining countries without access to the previous content. Lingopie you're clearly scammers!

I'm tired of making friends with other immigrants because they just leave within 2-3 years. It's rare that they stay, and if they do, most likely they end up retiring/early retiring elsewhere (like their home country). What is your best approach to making local friends (that actually want to stay). This year most of my closest friends are leaving... and well I have to start all over again.

Is it likely that the landlord is trying to sell? The landlord has pulled off many dirty stuff in previous occasions. Such as taking a year to solve a mold problem and making an unannounced visit to my apartment to look for ways to make it seem my fault (even if the experts said it was a water leakage). Anyways, I think this control has a hidden sword as well. But I’m not sure what it is.
